Often, actors (mostly female and mostly film) are praised fo their ability to cry on cue. Watch most of them, though, and you'll see that the common theme in all of them is that they don't blink. After a few seconds the lachrymal response kicks in and the floodgates open. If you then just screw your face up a bit you've got "emotion". <laugh>

His <£30 was disallowed...OK

However, not a word there about the (up to) £3,700 expenses per MP allowed when Cameron called the 'House' back for one day to pay homage to Mrs. T....For heaven's sake they were all back 5 days later anyway; why not hold the 'love-in' in 'term-time'?

I thought it was because of the rise in unemployment figures that were published that day, mads

"Friends insist he is not normally a blubberer, in public or in private – in fact, one person who knows him well says they have never seen him cry. But they say he is open, even warm, and "good with eye contact" – compared with David Cameron, who had to be coached early on as Tory leader to make eye contact with the people he was talking to."

Shifty Dave,eh?!

He met the woman once, for heaven's sake....Still, I'm sure her supporters will explain that her charisma was such that it only needed the once....

crocodile tears.....To pretend a sorrow that one doesn’t in fact feel, to create a hypocritical show of emotion. The idea comes from the ancient belief that crocodiles weep while luring or devouring their prey.

Now, that I can believe
