I don't think I would have approached a man with a cleaver in his hand.

A newspaper reported...

Ms Loyau-Kennett asked the man: "Would you like to give me what you have in your hands?"

"He was covered with blood," she said. "I thought I had better talk to him before he starts attacking somebody else."

There isn't much being said about the woman who knelt by the poor young man and prayed for him

Incredibly brave lady - it must be very distressing to witness such an attack, and doubly despressing to see it being carried out on the streets of our Capital....I saw the film that ITV News had sourced at tea-time yesterday and in a longer version a woman wearing a turqoise dress and shawl, pulling a shopping trolley, is coming straight for the man with blood on his hands as he talks to a stranger's mobile/camera....incredibly she walks straight past him (so close her face was pixellated) as if nothing was happening....thank god not everybody is like that...altho she probably was what we English call 'minding our own business'.... <erm>
