"Hmph, it'll be difficult, but at the looks of it, you'll have to begin parrying in order to learn to swing," Alden said. He groaned at this, knowing it'll be tough to teach the sword. Alden took the Silver Sword, gripping it within his dominant right hand, and swung the blade from his bottom left up in a diagonal manner towards Abel, aiming at the body and swinging so that it'd go from side to shoulder. |

Abel frowned again at the man's groan, but quickly readied himself when he took his silver sword. As he swung, Abel ducked to his right, avoiding the swing as best he could. He recalled the lesson and poked his sword at his instructor. |

"I guess I should have realized you don't know the terminology for what I was speaking of," Alden said as he took the stab. "Nice jab by the way, but to tell you, parrying is blocking with the blade, there are times when that is better than dodging." After he finished saying that, he swung his blade down at Abel, straight down to his shoulder at a faster pace. |

"Oh," said Abel in a small voice. He looked up as the man swung his sword down onto him. In response, he pulled the sword above his head, trying to get the blade closer to the handle to collide onto the oncoming sword's edge. |

Alden's blade connected with Abel's and hooked in to get stopped at the hilt. "You may not be well at the swing, but your defensive ability is great, I must say. But as of this, we might have had enough for a bit, teaching can be tough if used all at once." |

"Ah," said Abel, as he straightened up and lowered his sword. "Right, then. Thank you... I don't think we even exchanged names yet." He chuckled, before saying, "My name's Abel." |

"Oh, I hadn't even noticed that we didn't name ourselves. I am Alden," Alden replied, bowing slightly. "But just to say, practice with that sword, just enough to figure out what stance is best for you. And also, the pleasure is all mine. I have been out of it the entire way back, having a person to speak to might actually have helped."
