So I have this idea that I wanted to bring to the table, I need your input. I know Rapture is far from its predecessor. To this, I speak in terms of BZfanfiction studio. I know that people around here don't do much in terms of writing. However, this is where I believe a compromise can be drawn. Perhaps we should make a section specifically made for individual people.

For example.

Every member (or those who request it) would have his/her own Section, dedicated to them.

Bluezone, you would have a section to where you could talk about anything, perhaps ever turning the section in question into a journal like area for members wishing to talk about themselves, life in general, or what has been on their minds recently. Kind of like when we had our own Writing Section back at Fanfic studios.

Not sure how many people would jump on it. But it's just a thought. Let me know your honest input

Ein gave us this idea a while ago and staff thought it was good but I felt I should ask what the members think of this. Feel free to give me your honest input on this.

"Get lost eh?"

Let's say you do Shiro, but after time passes, your topic get's lost in the archives of other people's new topics. With your own section, you could write/journalize things accordingly, or just vent to the world how your life is doing and everyone could find your thoughts a bit more easy.

This might be a stupid idea who knows? I just thought the people might like their own section, dedicated to them. A place to put up photo's or videos, without having to continously (not that spamming is bad) spam up the video/images/writing in one area, so that members could easily find your latest work/thoughts quickly.

Again, if it's a dead in the water idea it's alright. Maybe this is something for the more active users of Rapture. Maybe not.

I am thinking of maybe making a new category where active members can get their own section for whatever( Hawk did this on TFF for a couple of his members. I don't want to give it to everyone who asks as I don't want the forum to be made incredibly long or just make a forum and give people a sub forum.

LOVE IS THE DRIVING FORCE OF ALL

Well

I think those who are with us since the first forum do remember we had something like this back then...

We had a Writer's Section, and I personally worked on the format the postings had, making the fanfics and originals easy to identify and follow, organizing the posting and where you should go to review, follow updates or read, without the mess we can see on Hawk's Forum,, where readin is apain as everyone posts all in the same thread as the stories were...messy and terribly organized.

It was a neat and very organized section back then, and even better to follow as FF.net...but the writing adhesion came to a halt later on...

Each author had his/her own section and we had there ppstings to read, to post comments, and talk about whatever was desired regarding the author and such...

It was nice and if something like that were to be brought back it would be nice...

Some issues I have with it as it's different now as we don't have as many who will use it like we did back then.

Another thing is if we have too m any forums then it will be a mess to go through them all.

What I can do is set the user's creations forum to sort topics by topic starter's name by default so all the topics that you made are in one place so they can just go through the list to find your "section"

It's not the same but it would be a lot easier to manage and work the way you want to hear.

What do you think?

Why not give the ones that want a subforum a subforum in users creation and if they get inactive hide that sub-forum. Then if the user gets back and want to use the sub-forum again just in-hide it.

I was thinking of possibly doing that. I had a few ideas I could do with this and that was one of them. Whatever the members want here is fine by me.
