First Impressions

  • Activity (Score: 5/5): There has been a post today in almost every forum, well done. There are also members on at the same time I was, and there's a really awesome number of topics in every forum. I would give you a six if I could.

  • Template (Score: 4/5): The template is very light on my eyes, and at the same time, it draws me in. Excellence on the template. It maybe could be a bit better, but great job.

First Impressions total: 9/10

Site Layout

  • Organization (Score: 10/10): There is no possible way your forums could be organized another way with how many you have. Perfection.

  • Index Length/Number of Forums (Score: 10/10): Hee hee. I remember a saying once. A forum should be like a skirt. Long enough to cover up, but short enough to make things interesting. Well, you've more than accomplished this. Awesome.

Layout total: 20/20

Style

  • Template Layout/Color Scheme (Score: 9/10): As I said, you have a really awesome template that is both light on the eyes, and at the same time, drawing you in. Excellence. It maybe could be slightly better, but it's a good template.

  • Logo/Images (Score: 6/10): Well, this might be the only downer in your score. You've got a pretty good set of icons and banner, but neither are really that eye-catching. Nothing really draws me in here. But the theme does make up for it a bit.

Style total: 15/20

Site moderation

  • Number of Staff (Score: 5/5): Had a look through your members list, and looks to me like you have a perfect number of staff. Great work.

  • Staff Activity (Score: 5/5): And it looks to me like almost all of said staff are pretty active, so five points here as well.

  • Staff Professionalism (Score: 5/5): I do not see a single problem with your staff.

Moderation total: 15/15

Site activity

  • Posts Per Day (Score: 20/20): You have a very excellent post count per day. Every forum nearly is getting at least a post each and every day, and no forums are blank save the ones that are there for informative purposes only.

  • Number of Members (Score: 10/10): You're doing a really awesome job right now. Many forums I see would not have dreamed to see as many members as you have. You've lasted far longer than most forums at this point. Most would have died by now, tis the sad truth of a forum. And it is excellent to see that you're doing well.

  • Post/Member Ratio (Score: 5/5): A huge number of your members have posts between themselves, and everyone is doing excellent. Well done.

Activity total: 35/35

Overall mark: 94/100

What could be done to improve the site: You know, you're doing far better than almost anyone I've ever seen at this point. I have seen some that have been better, but 80% of the forums at this point are usually dead, and yours is brimming with pretty good activity. Keep it up, and I don't see that you should have to worry for a long time.

What is the best thing you liked about the site: Almost everything.

What does he mean by template, the skin?

Well it's listed under style and next to template is logo and graphics so I am guessing it's the skin that he's referring to when he says template.

Well the high scoring review does go along with the total lack of complaints or issues that need to be addressed. XD

LOVE IS THE DRIVING FORCE OF ALL

If you consider that this Forum is the last in a string of very successful previous iterations, the scores are fair and deserving.

And true, many Forii out there are really short lived, whereas our house here is really active to this moment.

And again, if we consider how long BZ is on the run, the concept has been around for years already, bespoking of the Forum quality

Hey BZ, striving for an ISO certification on Forii, aren't you? :voidhawk:

-jumps on VK's head- I been around longer than HIM! Who do you think taught the great BZ all of the tricks of the trade? Hmm? -jumps off of head-

It's a decent review. To short and not enough details. I do agree with Anna though on not enough details.

Jason it doesn't really matter what you've taught BZ if he can't remember it :PP

If you remember enough to make it work right, that is what really counts.

The rest we learn (and learn again) along the road :P

Now, one thing is also right, we learn a lot with criticism. Good reviews are good to make us see we are in the right track of something, but criticisms (when done in a construtive way, not in senseless flaming) help us correct what is wrong and improve what is already good. Andd for that we do need details, that is also very true.
