AHA:TLE DATABOOK

World of AHA:TLE:

This world is concurrent with the time line of our present, except for major differences in magical and fantasy characteristics. The Technology is equal, if not greater to the known technology in our world. Hayashi Island is located somewhere on an island near Japan, only one bridge of land connects to the main land of Japan, allowing for only one land route from and to the island. The bridge leads to the front camp area of Hayashi Island, as well as the only dock-able port to the island. The island itself is surrounded by dense forests, and cities scattered about the island.

Not many know of Magic and Fantasy creatures such as Orcs, Goblins, Elves, Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, and Demigods. Only a small population on the island are able to use magic abilities but they're criminals about the island with powers and magic making it dangerous for innocent civilians.

The Academy:

Hayashi Academy was founded long ago after a war between the worldly races commenced to claim the island as their territory. The academy was originally created by an union of Humans and Elves sharing their secrets, Humans with physical talents such as Swordplay, Archery, Gunnery and Elves with magical abilities. For a long time the academy produced soldiers to combat the unruly powers on the island and eventually quelled the monsters and ended the war. The Academy would eventually change its purpose, and the academy became one to produce positive individuals, taking in gifted individuals with different levels of talent and teaching them about self-control, discipline, molding their abilities, and working with others. The curriculum is a humbling experience, as the students will soon realize that they are levels bellow the teachers and headmasters of the academy, as well as some of the dangerous criminals of the academy.

Categories:

-Prodigies

Prodigies are the most talented members of the academy, normally adept with their power and mostly used as examples for the other students to follow. The Prodigies have the lowest chance of growing, due to them being at the peak of their power. They mostly gain social attributes and in some cases, ways to limit and control their overwhelming power. Prodigies will start off strong, but eventually will look average compared to the others. They will have chances for high INT but extremely low LCK

Base Stats: 70 SP
Rolls For INT- 5
Rolls for LCK-1

-Advanced

The Advanced are young persons with great power with a small room of improvement. Although they have amazing powers, they are usually unable to control their powers fully. They are better than Average but not as great as Prodigies. They also have slow progression but will eventually grow to be greater than a Prodigy. They have high INT but Low LCK.

Base Stats: 60 SP
Rolls for INT-4
Rolls for LCK-2

-Vanilla

Vanilla prospects are simply average. They seem the most normal, nothing special about them and have average progressions. They generally have one power, to which they can use moderately. They have Mod INT, and mod LCK

Base Stats: 45 SP
Rolls for INT-3
Rolls for LCK-3

-Everybody

Everybodies much like Vanilla's are pretty average, except they have a single power to which they use poorly. They have a better than average progression. They have low INT, and high LCK.

Base Stats: 35 SP
Rolls for INT-2
Rolls for LCK-4

-Dusty

Dusty gems are very uncapable at the start. They barely have a clue to their powers but have the greatest potential of any of class. They progress at an extreme rate, gaining exceptional powers that they can't imagine.

Base Stats: 30 SP
Rolls for INT-1
Rolls for LCK-5

I've provided some examples of canon Hayashi Academy charas so you can get an example of how your character would be classified

Prodigy from the story

Name: Alasia Maltese

Class: Sorceress

Powers: Can create ignitable energy to create explosions of different ranges. These explosions can harm her if she uses it too close to herself but deal a great deal of damage to her opponents based on her scope and concentration. This energy requires precise details and shape in order to produce results, the greatest amount of concentration, i.e. if Alasia is in a well fortified area, she can produce terrifying results, able to destroy solid objects like cars. This ability however takes a lot out of Alasia due to the amount of energy she uses, so realistically she can only create mid level explosions in the heat of a battle.

Advanced Example

Name: Robert Asuko

Class: Boxer

Powers: Robert is a skilled boxer with exaggerated lightning fast punches, and great strength behind his punches. Winding up his haymaker he can create small air ripples, or small tremors of air to increase the range of his attacks. He is limited however to close combat and makes for an easy target against range users and magic users.

Vanilla Example

Name: Soren Harutaki

Class: Protector

Powers: Soren has a simple ability, he can cast magic shields and barriers to protect himself or allies. The greater the size and durability of his barriers, the more energy he expends to keep them up.

Everybody Example

Name: Erika Sharp

Class: Cleric

Powers: Erika has a book of spells, most are support spells like healing magic. She has some offensive spells that deal minute amounts of damage, and binding spells but overall she is unable to cause much harm to opponents.

Dusty Gem Example

Name: Lyra

Class: Mage

Powers: Lyra was taught magic remembering the incantation to bring forth certain spells. Her spells are unrefined and due to her nervous personality, have little power behind them. She is extremely nervous and in the heat of battle unable to use her true potential.
