The desks were set up as they had been yesterday, but instead of the base, there was merely empty space. Vat explains that today was going to be a bit more hands-on in its approach. He goes on to explain that when using magic in order to maximize efficiency using it, or dealing with it at all, one has to let it flow properly.

"For instance, fire magic, as used by humans comes from the breath." The half demon snorts, small puffs of fire appearing from his nostrils. "It's easiest to use fire magic if you can regulate your breathing so that it manifests with every exhale. Of course, magic flows through your entire body. It's by manipulating its flow both in yourself and the environment around you that supernatural effects are caused. This means that best magicians tend to be extremely good at dancing." Vat claps loudly signalling a transition in his lecturing. "Which brings us to today's lesson! Each one of you will come to the center of the class and show us your dance moves. Don't be shy. Nobody leaves until everyone's gotten down anyways."

Vat dims the lights and plays appropriate dance music for the students to get down to.

Friend you can count on.
Devin actually meant to attempt leaving, but tripped into the center. After a few moments of utter embarrassment, not really sure of how to dance to this kind of music that was forced onto him so he ended up just standing in shock and turn red. Devin left and sat down, attempting to not make eye contact with anyone, face red.

Sighing, Janice gets up and begins attempting to dance. She never danced back in NYC, so she ended up flailing around more than grooving.

He's also not very good. He attempts a spinaroonie, but it's also bad.

You... paused me?
Sarah didn't want to fail... She hated it, but... everyone else had to do it too, so it wasn't too bad... She went into the middle of the room, and nodded a bit to the beat, before stopping and walking away.

Nathan tried to dance when it was his turn. He didn't do too bad, but he didn't exactly do too good either. Nathan took his place back where the other students were. He was never really a dancer anyways. *Insert western dancing joke here*.

Maya tried her hand at this whole dancing thing, her tiny body and natural flexibility made it easier to do for her than most. On the other hand, not being a natural dancer didn't make it easy. She went for a break dancing maneuver and it totally worked out for her. Turns out She could dance if she wanted to, and even leave her friends behind. Because her friends can't dance and since they don't dance then they are no friends of mine.

Alice tried to break dance too. It was alright, but no where near the godliness that was Maya's Break dancing.

Sandra and Adina walked into the room and sat around the empty spot. Upon hearing that this courses lesson was about dancing, Sandra became elated. She could not wait, moving in her chair, holding the urge to jump into the middle. She wanted a few people to go ahead of her. After Alice went up, she decided it was her turn.

She jumped from her seat and stood in the center. "Professor is right. My mentor taught me dancing in the earlier part of my training." She took a deep breath and started twirling and moving, expertly. Every movement and twist was fluid and nearly flawless. It was her favorite routine. She used to do it in front a mirror and watch herself. As the music sped up, her moves became quicker and sharper. It matched surprisingly well.

After she had finished, she sat down and leaned over to Adina. "Now show everyone your awesome moves!"

Adina was stunned by Sandra's dancing, "W-What, no!" she whispered quietly. Adina wasn't one for being the center of attention, nor did she like people watching her. "I don't dance..." she also whispered. If this was part of magic, she wasn't sure she wanted to learn it.

"What! But it is dancing!" Sandra was not going to have this. She pulled Adina into the middle. "You just dont like to dance alone! Here, dance with me!" She grabbed Adina's hand and started spinning her in a crude swing dance routine.

Adina was dragged to the center with Sandra, the focus of others of others started to worry her. After Sandra started spinning her around it took her mind off of it for a moment, but she sat down soon after. It wasn't as horrible as she thought it'd be but it still wasn't her thing.

"See Adina, it was not so bad." She comforted her as they walked to the door. She was interested in seeing the others dance, but she rather just get all the school stuff out of the way. "Let's go Adina, we have learnings to do!"
