The more I read this article, the more hilarious it becomes for me. I simply love it. It works on so many levels. It's like a completely honest, very nice business dealing with heart, and yet a laughable, scummy scam at the same time. Your thoughts?

Hell, I support these guys.

I've always wonder what part of "He shall come like a thief in the night" these people don't get, though.

I find it hilarious that people will actually hire these guys. As a christian I find it stupid that people are believing a guy who has been wrong before about the Rapture. Only God knows when the world will end and that's it.

Well the rapture has officially not happened like the guy said it would, he said that it would reach each time zone at about 6PM in that time zone with a giant earthquake. We are now past 6PM in places like New Zealand and no earthquake.

On the topic, I don't know whether I agree or not. On one level, at east it eased people's minds, even if that mind was having stupid thoughts, but ultimately he was taking advantage of people who a)were as scared as they could be for their pets and b) were prepared to pay any price as they believed money was worthless to them. I know its a clever ploy, but I wouldn't be comfortable with it. But on another level, they must know that the guy must not believe in this shit, because he is asking for money and is an atheist. Does that make it better? Not sure.
