We know that there will be no more movies or books, but we grew up with J.K Rowling's character and his world. Favorite characters? Books? Movies? Also, let's make this thread for fans and not for people who aren't interested in Harry Potter. No buzzkills, please. My favorite movie was the Chamber of Secrets. I loved its action and I really loved the actors when they were still little. It held to the book way more in my opinion. Plus Ron was hilarious: "The spiders want me to tap dance... I don't want to tap dance!" |

Favourite movie? Either 'the Prisoner of Azkaban', or 'the Deathly Hallows, Part 2'. Favourite book? Almost definitely 'the Order of the Phoenix'. I loved that book. It's completely fallen apart from how much I've read it. Which is odd, as I've read each of the books around the same number of times, and it's the only one that has fallen apart. =/ |

That's funny, that happened with my copy. But the 5th one is my least favorite because Harry spends three quarters of the book yelling at everybody... and Sirius dies... :'( |

That's why I like it. It shows us Harry isn't all butterflies and rainbows. He has his dark side, even if it is Moldy-wart's fault. :P |

I just felt bad for everybody he yelled at... Even though every time Umbridge comes into the story, I imagine "her" as Joe Walker from a Very Potter Sequel... *snort* |

I hated the pacing of Goblet of Fire (movie). It was pretty bad. I enjoyed the book though. |

My favourite movie I couldn't say, I haven't watched the 5th, 6th or 7th (part 1) in full in one sitting (I read the books after my sister told me how different the 4th film was from the book and couldn't watch the later films)and it's been ages since I've watched the first 4. However, I remember that when it first came out I would try to watch the first one everyday but end up having to go to bed before it finished so I ended up able talk along with them word for word. I also like the first few because they're more true to the books, I mean there's never any mention of the house elves in the hogwarts kitchen ¬_¬ Favourite book... again haven't read them in a while. I read the first 4 again last year but I got distracted before even reaching the hearing in the 5th. Saying that, the 5th was my favourite when I did first read the books. I just hated Umbridge that much. Favourite character - when I first read the books, Luna (reason 2 I liked the 5th book). I also liked Fred and was in denial when he died. Favourite creature - I liked the thestrals... yeah (reason 3 I liked book 5). Least favourites - Film: 5th (don't think I could bare to watch it for too long and I don't think I've seen the whole thing). Book: Probably the 4th or 6th, they just bored me... Character: So many... Bellatrix and Umbridge are first to mind. Creature: Skrewt... just because. |

Favorite movie I would have to say Prisoner of Azkaban. I really enjoyed how everything was laid out in the movie. Plus I love the music in it JOHN WILLIAMS ISH TEH BESTEST Favorite book would probably be (like setsu) Order of the Phoenix probably the one i enjoyed most. Everything just got darker and darker as things went on. Now I would have to say my favorite characters were Fred and George. Of course I was in mass denial and actually almost cried when Fred died. God dammit! I wish he hadn't T~T |

Your pain, I know it so well. I was going to take a break from reading it at the end of the chapter but then had to re-read that line about 8 times and then kept reading because I didn't want to believe it meant he wasn't living... (strange way to put it yes, but I shall put it that way anyhow). |

I read the series 3 times over. As for the movies... well I didn't bother with them since the 4th one, and honestly I don't really see a reason to. Either way, my favorite book is either the third one, despite my hatred of time travel as a plot point or the fifth one, because the series really did grow up a bit there. |

I have fundamental issues with the universe of Harry Potter which prevent me from truly enjoying the series. |
