11th Division HQ

Bael strode into the courtyard of the headquarters of his division. It was an open skied section of the HQ, but it still had large stone walls and a wide open space to spar in. Many soldiers were being drilled at the moment.
Some of them practicing excersizes, Some of them practiced movements and formation, and others sparred unarmed and armed.
It seems his troops were still hard at work then. They were at least... until Bael had entered.
They all stopped for the briefest second to glance at him, as usual, as he walked passed them. Few would be able to get used to the huge Captain of the 11th Division.

Troy had left the party early. It was fun and he did enjoy catching up with some of his friends, but as the party went on he realized this was a good opportunity.
With so many people at the party, he could probably head back to the HQ and train.
He just knows he's roughly 2 good training sessions away from Bankai. After all this work, he knew it had to be that, or rather he would push himself so hard that he will force it to be true.
However, his plans change when he sees Bael had returned from the meeting with the Captain Commander, and he hurries to his side.
"Hello, Captain, is there anything you wish for me to do. Or perhaps there is news to report from the meeting"

"Hold, Troy" Bael said, giving him no question on whether or not he should be silent. The large Shinigami walked passed him as he said it, not even looking to his Lieutenant. "You're about to hear of some news."
Bael wasn't being rude, but he had a goal set in mind, and he was out to do it. And this goal, was to tell his squad the news.
He walked into the middle of the courtyard.
As he passed his soldiers, they paused in mid training. Wrestlers let go of each others immediately. Swords stopped swinging. The clang of steel halted.
The last sound that was heard was Baels loud footsteps.
With a last thump, he stopped in the exact middle of the large area, and he dropped his blade's point. It embedded itself on the ground as usual, and he rested his hands on its hilt.
His heavy armor shined, and he scanned his soldiers with his peircing gaze. Even battle hardened warriors shuddered under the gaze, as if they could feel his spiritual pressure at that moment.
"Warriors." he said, his commanding voice carrying across the courtyard. "I have just recieved news from the 1st Division Captain. It seems that Hollow Attacks are becoming more frequent, so we might see some action in the near future."
At that, the crowd roared and raised their arms or weapons. it was silented qucikly though with a small release of spiritual pressure from Bael.
"However," he said. "It seems we are not to be the first into battle. but that does not mean that we will not see it, and soon. So prepare yourselves, and by order of the Head Captain, we are to travel in groups and in pairs. Never alone."

Time to act again
Alex was, like always, in a corner, looking at the other shinigami train. Once the Captain came back and gave the news. So action is going to happen... I guess we can have so fun after this. He looked at the Captain. That was really all what he had to say? Or there was something else?

Arriving just in time to here his Captain's words, Kenpachi Ichiro Akio took them in. A rise in Hollow activity didn't mean much on its own, but the fact that the Captain Commander was worried about it meant it could wind up being much more than it first seemed. The command to never travel alone was also of note. It was clear that the Captain Commander was nervous. Ichiro was content, as long as it didn't involve facing any more of Them. Normal Hollows were fine, but those white ones he remembered from so long ago...they could be a serious problem. In response to Bael's final statement, Akio spoke up.

"We are the 11th. We always prepare for battle!"

He stood there silently while Bael made his announcement.
Odd, wouldn't expect that to be something to worry Captain or the Captain-Commander. Maybe I'm underestimating the magnitude of that sentance

"Remember... Fight for Honor. Fight for a Reason. Fight for an Ideal."
His guantleted fist shot in the air.
"The 11th will not falter!"

Ichiro turned to his captain and spoke the words that were on his mind.

"I just hope Captain, that this is not like the last time that Hollow attacks increased notably. Those days were dark days indeed for Soul Society. I remember those days well, losing comrades I had known for years. If those times have come again, then we must be at our best."

It certainly seemed like it would be awhile before he could relax and play a round of golf. He could live with that, and his treatises on Zanjutsu were commonly available and studied by many, especially in the 11th. That would likely help more Shinigami to survive.

Bael stepped down from the middle of the courtyard and nodded to Ichiro.
"Yes, I have the same feelings. But it is our duty to make sure that the Soul Society is kept safe from inner and outer corruption."
He then added the last words for emphasis. "By any means necessary."

"Well, considering this new threat, I request that I be allowed to train for the remainder of the day."
It may seem that Troy hadn't really been affected by the news, but in truth it had started to worry him. Never again did he won't to lose people special to him. Originally, his motive was merely to achieve Bankai for Bankai's sake, but now it was so that he could better protect his Division and the rest of Soul Society.

Masaru was quite during the speech as he was meditating when the captain arrived. After the speech he considered what it all could mean, but it all didn't matter once the fighting started then the fun would begin. He continued his training and awaited his orders.

"Indeed, there is no reason to hold back against any foe of Soul Society."

Bael looked to his Lt., 3rd, and 4th seats.
"It seems as if someone needs to accompany me as well where I go. Which one of you wants to be it?"

"That makes sense to me. It would be logical for a Captain to have his Lieutenant nearby. That would also leave myself and 4th Seat Masaru likely travelling together. Though I am sure that this would be subject to change as the situation required or requested. Not to mention, I see no reason to limit groups to just two people. I am certain that there will be a time when two Shinigami will not be enough. Still, I leave the decision in your hands, Captain."
