Yuko realized what Isidor was doing almost as soon as she saw the look in his eye. she giggled a little then followed Isidor and acted like she was sitting back down until he got his stuff together. I wish I had enough stuff to have to put it in a backpack... she thought. then when Isidor went back and sat next to the new girl, who, truly, had not even given her name yet, she started following him back. Isidor sat down, yet somehow Yuki was was in the other chair next to him before Yuko could sit down, with her stuff, even though she wasn't there two seconds before and Yuko was a lot closer... NOOOOOO!!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!!! she then went to the other side of the new girl in her spite. |

Ayame felt ridiculous that she had not mentioned her name yet. "My name is Ayame. Ishihara, Ayame," she smiled. She realized that when Isidor asked her name he mentioned, '"...my friend.."' She couldn't help but love the sound of it, yet at the same time, her heart was conflicting with herself yet again confusing her mind and causing her to have the need to be distant. |

"Ah, nice to meet you, Ayame." He smiled at her. It was a good name she had. It had a nice to ring to it as he repeated it in his head. Isidor was happy, to say the least, that friendships were forming but for some reason, he felt a bit of tension between Yuko and Yuki again. Could it be because of their first fight? Or could it be because their names both start with Yu? Isidor didn't really know but he would find out one day .... maybe. |

Ayame smiled back at Isidor as she too felt such strange aura between Yuko and Yuki. She didn't want to get involved nor get in the way of anything. Having a new friend in her first few minutes of entering the classroom was good enough for her. |

Darkness in the Night

April felt stupid for still standing for no reason, she found a table that was empty and sat at it by herself, she felt so lonely, no one would talk to her. April was really to shy to talk to other people, she couldn't easily make friends with people, it usually ended up with a hi and a bye nothing to much. Why is it so hard for me to find and make friends? Just why...? she thought. April looked down at her bag and fumbled through it grabbing a small notebook out of it and flipped to a blank page. She sat and stared at it with a blank look. Damn it I can't think of anything! she thought putting the notebook on the table and leaning her head on it. She was starting to get incredibly bored and sighed. I need to make some new people... I promised my parents... I just can't talk to them... April sat up and stared at the table blankly, she had nothing to do, no one to talk to, and felt loneliness inside of herself. |

Arashi walked into the classroom and sat down near Isidor. He hoped that he could explain what happened in Literature to him without going into too much detail. "Hey man..." he starts, not sure how to proceed. "Sorry... about back there. I kinda just left you guys." |

Torek sat next to the group that had sat with Ayame. He smiled at them, glad to have friends who didn't find him to be too stupid or big. He glanced at the girls every now and then, and then sniffed the air. But he caught himself, making sure he never made a scene. Edited by POOHEAD189, Aug 24 2011, 06:30 AM.

Alek arrives a bit late and sits down at the same table as Gamzee. "I wonder if we'll get to do anything fun here. Hanzo looks about as the remaining students arrive. He puts the silly putty down and clears his throat. "Good day students. As I said earlier today, I am Mr. Shini, your science teacher," he begins. He looks about at the students. Surely, there were some out there that didn't care much for learning human science, but it was his job to make them interested. "In this class, you will learn about the 'magic' of the human world, science. Humans can't shoot fireballs or freeze things with a touch, so they use natural processes to do just about everything. If one wishes to blend into the human world, one must use their 'science'. But above all else, science is a wonderful, complex tool. It can do things that even Yokai can't. In fact, it is one of the few things humans have above Yokai." He moves over to the beaker of boiling water on the bunsen burner. As he continues to talk, he pours the beaker into a flask and seals it, sitting it off to the side to cool. "For today, I thought I'd start with some fun, albeit useless, demonstrations. This wonderful device," he points to the bunsen burner, "Like many heating tools of the human world, uses a steady stream of gas to keep a flame lit continuously. And this one in specific, which you will get to use throughout the year, is called a bunsen burner." He adjusts the knob on the side and the shaft of the burner, changing the small, red flame, into a very large, blue flame. "It has a variety of settings to allow for different levels of heat." He puts it back to normal and continues, "But that's a simple thing really. Let's get to the other things." Hanzo grabs a large, round, clear, sealed plastic bag. Inside the bag is some kind of liquid and a small metal looking coin. "This, is called a heat pad. It is something that humans use to massage with heat, or even just warm their hands when it is cold out." He flaps it about, showing how it's just a normal liquid in it. He walks over to a nearby student, Alyssa and gives her the bag. "It doesn't feel very warm, does it?" he asks her, to let the whole class know that at the moment, the bag was merely room temperature. He was going to have Alyssa do this small demonstration as it was something you had to see and feel to understand. |

When Yuki heard the teacher speakin she tooken out her notebook and started writing some key points he was saying about the bunsen burner. As the lesson went on she got more interested in it. She also drew randomly in her note book at times when there wasnt anything really important. |

Alyssa listened as the teacher gave his lesson. She'd be lying if she said that the human's mastery of fire wasn't impressive, though she didn't much care for it regardless. The teacher then hands here what is supposedly a 'heat pad.' "It doesn't feel very warm, does it?" the teacher says to her. "No, not really" Alyssa replies, not sure what he's getting at. |

Ray looks at the teacher with a lazy look on his face as he discusses the importance of a heat pad. Seriously... this guy is boring. I want to go back to Literature and Drama. Ms. Cellini knew how to shake up a class! Shaking back and forth, ~shake shake shake~ |

Hanzo takes the heat pad back and nods saying, "Quite right, it isn't very warm at all. But now watch this. This is what we call an exothermic chemical reaction." He walks into the front of the room and holds out the heat pad so everyone can see. he grips the little metal disk through the plastic and snaps it. Suddenly, the inside of the bag bursts with activity. The liquid turns into a solid, blue, crystaline structure around the disk, then continues to expand until the entire bag of liquid is a crystal. He holds it by the edge of the bag, not touching the crystal part and hands it back to Alyssa. The crystal is now very warm. Not scalding hot, but a soothing warmth comes from it. "Now it's a bit more fitting of being called a 'heat pad', isn't it?" Hanzo asks. Edited by Kevin the Dot, Aug 25 2011, 04:07 AM.

"Yes, it is rather warm now" Alyssa said calmly. She hands it back to the teacher. Again, it was impressive, but it also seemed a tad unnecessary to her. |

Isidor paid close attention to the demonstration and was impressed. He did not expect something so simple would do something so extraordinary. He took extra notes by adding in pictures to explain the process with more a visual element. Science always interested him so he would make sure to use the things he learns in class and apply them to his skills. |
