So, NASA is saying that a satellite from space is going to fall to Earth in the next few days. They say it could fall anywhere from Newfoundland to Argentina. What I want to know is: If you found a piece of the satellite, or any space debris for that matter, what would you do with it? If I found something, it'd be going straight onto eBay. |

Moved to general discussion. That's pretty interesting. I would probably either mount it as some sort of trophy, or sell it. |

First: Look for a Simbiot in it. If I don't found anything, probably (depending on the size) take it to my home and put it somewhere. Please send me the Simbiot!!!!

...Well I probably wouldn't know it was from space, but if I did know I'd keep it until it is inevitably lost. |

How would you not know it was from space? I mean, something like that satellite would make a crater in the ground most likely. And there are tons of other stuff "bigger than your fist" (as an anchor for the news I was watching said) up there that would most likely make craters as well. |

Simple. Drago lives at the city dump and reigns king there. All he would notice would be a large amount of trash that had been replaced by metal. Flaming metal to be exact

It would be nice if some of the debris actually crashes on my college. No more night classes for a while. |

I wasn't speaking about the satelite specifically, most rocks from space that crashes to earth look like ordinary rocks. And how dare you call my home a dump! It's a landfill! |

Odds are that most of the satellite would burn up on reentry. Anything we would find would be a smallish, twisted, melted, chunk of metal and probably not recognizable as anything that was once part of a satellite. If one were to find anything bigger than say, a fist, I'd be very surprised, and I'd be surprised to even hear of something that large. |

I was going to add that in to my own post, but I'd have to say "it goes without saying," and I really can't stand that phrase. If it's apparent enough to go without saying, why are you saying that? |
