I think we had this discussion a long time ago, but I don't remember it, so here it is.

How did you come up with your name?
Did you steal it, make it up, or use you're own name as a source?
Has it changed?
All of these questions answered in: Now!

Rasen=Japanese for Spiral/Helix.
But it was originally Rasendori1138
Rasendori being a fanfiction move from Naruto
1138 from Star Wars

In my case, it is an old nickname (could very well be older than some members of this board), and once again 1138 from the work of George Lucas.

As for my name, it reflects my philosophy on life. I was looking for something unique to use as a username on myspace years back, and it just clicked with me. One google search confirmed I was the first person to think of it. 8)

i've always been good at making up names and my username here is just one of the names i have made up for stories and online identities and such, tho this one is by far the most long lived one i have ever used online

(round 10+ years now)

i started using it as my name when i was playing on some mmorpg server roughly 12 years ago, to begin with it was just KraMer, later i have started to use it as a surname with my real first name(or tbh its a translated version of my name) and made up second name

->KraMer
-->>Jack Jonathan Kramer

edit:we need to get xanxus back and have him post his name history here...

I think I was 12 and in need of a username of some kind to join runescape so I put together my family's nickname for me and my age to get jimjams12... then I forgot my password and made another account called jimjams13... might've forgotten my password a second time :sweatdrop:
I didn't bother with a capital letter because I was a slow enough typer as it was, I didn't need to be worrying about capital letters. Anyway, it was easier to keep using it even though I don't like it very much.

I also have another username I sometimes use which is Phenomenom. This is only gotten from the name of my all time favourite song and the fact it's fun to say Phenomenomenomenomenom...

Let's see. This story happens in a dark place, so the squeamish best be wary.

I originally started roleplaying on the Neopets forums. I know, it's scary but it's true. The 400 character limit, the rules about absolutely not blood or gore, the profanity filter that was fin with damn and hell, but wasn't ok with "gay". Anyway, the options on those forums were rather limited. I wasn't into Warriors (the cats, I'm fine with /actual/ warriors) and I didn't do high school rps or boarding school rps and I CERTAINLY wasn't about to do a twilight RP. Instead I focused on the fantasy threads, specifically I enjoyed the Dragon (+ Rider) threads. I made some friends on the site, and eventually got invited to an RP guild. The guild was surprisingly well-set up, it had an entire system for hatching and raising your own dragons and the community was fun (even if it was a bit poorly written by my present standards)

Now, my handle on Neo was Kook22 (it was a word most people didn't know existed followed by my favorite number/birthday) but I certainly couldn't use that for my in-game character's name. No way, this guy was a bad-ass sword weilding super-mage dragon riding elf! (sorry jeff) So instead, I made one up on the spot. "Lithas" sounded elfy enough to me.

Anyway, I took a liking to it, and as my RP skills started to develop Neo wasn't satiating my hunger anymore. So I took off to the various IF/ZB boards, hovering from place to place. I thought Kook22 sounded childish so I started using Lithas (I recall a couple sites that made you use your character-names as your handle, so that probably helped fuel the switch.)

So there you have it, my dirty laundry. I'm secretly an elf, and I've managed to not only gain Jeff's trust, but I've also become the third most powerful person on this site! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well when it comes to usernames I'm not very creative. So I decided, "Why not go with my favorite anime characters names?" Seemed legit at the time so I started as supersaiyin3goku. I realized that I had spelled Saiyan wrong and just shrugged it off. When ATV came around, I was still SS3Goku. Then Epic Box, and Damon raged about my name, so I changed it to Heero Yuy. First one that came to mind and its been that way for a while. That is until I changed it on OK than changed it back.

Well here's the thing. I have multiple usernames but I guess my biggest one that I continually use (Skype, Steam etc.) would be LilliputianBB.

I'm a bit of a reading dweeb and love my stories and growing up one of my favourite books was Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift. Absolutely loved the story and world and it just made me happy. I loved Lilliput and what it meant. The word stuck with me from the age of six. I did not, however, like to simply say Lilliput. The word just didn't sound descriptive enough and so I dubbed myself Lilliputian due to my low height and tiny features.

The BB part is another story. It stands for Baby Bear which came from my first ever chatango name BabyBearWithTinyFist (In comes the lilliputian reference again) and was shortened to BBWTF and eventually to BB which a few of my closer friends still call me to this day. I got the nickname Baby Bear from my boyfriend, sort of like a pet name you could say. Tiny Fist came from my old friend who I went to university with who actually introduced me to roleplaying online. Craig, also known as Keni that only Jeff will really remember here, is that old friend. He decided he'd like to make fun of my abnormally small hands and so dubbed me tiny fist while our friend Andrew dubbed me mini mitts and as such, the name stuck.

I also go by another name. Char. This name is simply the shortened form of Charlotte, which is my real name. Pretty boring. Huh?

Well, I'm a mythology nerd, which came up with the "siren" portion, as sirens used their voices as tools to lure sailors to their deaths (but I don't sing to kill people... I just like to sing). The rest of it I stole from Yami because it was at a time where we were still super close.

"No"-> Japanese for "of"
"Enigma" --> mystery.

So Siren's Enigma. Just sounded cool.

Well, I started playing Super Nintendo when I was 5 years old. When I won this game of mario cart, I needed to type in a 3 letter word for my name. Instead of Ben, I put POO because it made me laugh. Further on down the line, I kept the name, and to distinguish myself from POO on the console, I made POOHEAD on the computer. It was originally going to be Bowser189, but I decided to make myself more independent, so I kept Poo and made it to POOHEAD. The 189 was the first random number I thought of in my lil head, so I kept it. Basically, I made POOHEAD189 as a child, and I kept it ever since.

My name dates back to nearly six years ago to my very first forum. I was really into the fire emblem games then and somehow I came across a fire emblem a fire emblem rpg forum hosted on invisionfree called Heroes of Elibe (or HoE, quite intentionally). I call it an rpg site because the game portion was more the focus than the rp part. Anyways, I decided to join this forum, but needed a name. Being the noob I was at the time I went with the most generic thing I could come up with, DragonFlame91. The 91 was of course entirely uneccessary, but again I was noob. Anyways, that was my name there, but people started to shorten it to DFlame. The name just sorta stuck and I could never be bothered to make a new one. So there ya go, now you know the mystery behind the D. Disappointing, isn't it?

Ah how did I come up with the moniker Dragoknighte? It's not much of an interesting story but whatevs. Back in freshman year of high school I needed a name for gmail account. I wanted something I could remember and the idea of shoving 12 numbers at the end of my name wasn't very appealing. So I'm sitting at the computer wondering what I should do. At the time I was playing Pokemon Ruby version, so I decided to base it off my best Pokemon there, Salamence. Yeah Google thought not. On a side note, that did inspire the many variations of my password.

Then I get to thinking, why not use my most favoritest Pokemon, Dragonite? Well after a bit of experimentation I found out that dragoknighte was free on gmail. And yahoo. And every other thing I've ever signed up for, so I'm pretty sure it's unique. Twas easy enough for me to remember and it grew on me so it stuck. Yep, my name is not based on some lame "Dragon Knight" things but on a kickass semi aquatic dragon that defies physics with it's mere ability to fly.

That and it can fire literal lazars from its maw.
