Red Team and Blue Team gathered into separate groups, each at their respective flag locations. It would be up to them to decide on a leader for each team, and probably wise for each to determine a strategy. This is the general layout of the camp: ![]() Good luck, all participants. |

Lairya arrived and examined the other students. From the look of them she would have an edge in speed and many of them appeared to rely on melee based combat. Even before any team had been considered she closed her eyes and began devising a plan... |

Friend you can count on.

Seon wandered over, but stayed back from the large group. He knew that he wasn't wanted there much, but he had to be there all the same. |

Clyde arrived at the agreed point for his team to meet. He looked around at his teammates. Of course, as he suspected, the Ares cabin was once again on his team. He also noticed the Hunters had decided to join in the game. As the others got their bearings, he started thinking about the strategies that he had come up with again. Most likely, the Ares Cabin would want to lead the attack. But that was probably what the other team was expecting. So, use Ares as a distraction, and send the quickest in for the capture. Naturally, that would be the Hunters. He'd have to discuss with Lairya first. He walked over to her, and kept hiz hand away from his sword. "Lairya. I need to speak with you." |

John entered the forest and smiled. Capture the flag was fun, whether he lost or not, the party afterwards is what made it truly fun. He walked up goofily to a girl from Aphrodite and began to talk to her. |

lairya opened her eyes with a start and her hand flew to her dagger as she twisted to face Clyde but she stopped herself before it moved from it's sheath. She relaxed slightly as she observed the boy who approached her. "My apologies, I get extremely jumpy when deep in thought. Now then, would you like something Child of Man?" |

"No need to apologize. But I have an idea. We will be on the same team together. Along with Ares, and the Lesser Gods. My plan, also depends on the team leader. If we send in Ares as a distraction, we can use the quickest to get the flag. Naturally, that would be the Hunters. I'd accompany you as bait when we reach the flag. That way you can just pluck the flag from the ground and end the game," Clyde explained "Is that satisfactory?"

Lairya laughed as she heard this plan. "I think you are going to be of interest to me this year. That was the first plan that I considered. The powerful but clumsy Ares would indeed make an ideal ditraction. Unfortunately your plan works on the premise that the hunters are indeed the fastest. While I certainly am an exception not all of them are so fast. In fact the house of hermes can outrun most of the hunters. but that doesn't mean they can hit us. however, as you say, with a major distraction on one side, some bait on the other that looks like a genuine attempt that wil leave the flag open enough to obtain. However, they would stil outnumber us in a strke party as you suggest. My plan is that the hunters, having bow skills that outmatch even the apollo house would first stand as sentries. In doing this we will be able to eliminate the major threats early. Once the first stage is done We will procede with the plan that you have offered. However, I should warn you that when you reach the far side you will be virtually on your own. The hunters are good for tracking and surprising their enemy but will not fair as well in open combat." Lairya felt bad about this plan. It was too basic, to easy to foil but unless there was a similar strategy being implemented on the other team it would work. |

"We are agreed then. Your plan will go first. Once again, it all depends on the team leader. Let us hope its not Ares." He walks away from Lairya and starts getting himself warmed up. He hoped that they would win this time. The last few times they had lost, but only because Meph had defected and used his hat of invisibility. He hopes the same mistake isn't made again. |

Lairya returned to her meditative stance and continued to plan and think of the potential variables, occasionally quietly muttering small disconnected phrases. She imagined the area and ytook stock of the areas where she would be concealed in both sides and the areas where she would have a clear shot. finally she considered her enemies and the best ways that they could be taken down with the tools at ther disposal. |

Zephyr arrived at the event a little early so that he could meet his team. He was on blue and it seem that he didn't see any faces that he knew. He walked near where everyone was gathering and jumped into a tree to observe the area they were about to play in. |

Wallking to the meeting point for Red Team, Lissy hadn't brought anything with her weaponry wise. She wandered over and found that she was the first of her team to arrive, she laughed at that, expecting at least one of the children of Athena to at least be here ready to bark orders and tactics to everyone. In actuality, she was just here to have a good time more than win the game. She found a tree and leaned against it, resting the back of her head on the bark, her ponytail making a comfortable cushion. She shuffled her right boot into the base of the tree and dug up some dirt to hide the shine of them, she then switched to her left boot and did the same. Her cream top would be a bit bright for hiding but she could deal with that. |

Calanon's light run through the wooded area gave him quite the momentum, and he leaped out of the bushes into the red base as graceful as a deer. He tapped the ground three times with his feet before he halted completely, and he let out a controlled breath. Calanon gazed around the clearing, a playful smile on his face as he viewed there was no one here. Wait, there was one actually. He blinked. How could he have missed her? Lissy, he believed her name was. He had not gotten to know the beautiful girl very well the past year he had been here. He never really tried to socialize, though he was always ready to make new friends. He tilted his head, and gave her a smile and a nod. "Well met." he said lightly, and he drew out his sword, before sticking it into the ground. He leaned upon the hilt of his sword as he looked passed her and around the red base, waiting for the others to arrive. |

Lissy looked up at the sound of the padding feet and then the voice that she recognised to be Calanon, one of the sons of Apollo. She'd spoken to him a few times but he was one of the rare ones that barely seemed to react to her presence but that could be down to the fact that he barely spoke in any social situation where they were in the same vacinity. She nodded and smiled to him brightly, her arms folding under her chest. "Well hello there cutie pie. Any idea where everyone else is, lovely?" |

Calanon had to admit that her beauty was captivating. He had always thought so, though he never understood how most of the other males seemed drawn to her. He understood he cared for girls less than most males his age, but the fact that she was enchanting was just another reason for him to stray from her... shyness. But at the moment, this was capture the flag, a game he intended to enjoy. His mind was solely on how today was going to be fun. "I honestly don't know. My half brother was behind me, but he seemed to have disappeared." he said with a small smile. He wanted to speak more, but curiously, his tongue was tied.
