"I'm just making sure. I'm heeding towards the lake. I assume you will be heading in the same direction seeing as how you are surprised by the neutrality in my voice. I'll be there in 10-15 minutes. I'll see you soon." He turned his radio off and focused on keeping himself afloat.

Medea studied the microphone and headset distastefully. Scoffing, she shoved it again in her pocket in favor of Queen once more. "In 10-15 minutes, we won't be here," she muttered and started walking along the lakeside, her senses open for any sign of dark or peculiar magic.

Lairya heard the radio conversation and was torn, she could definitely get there before Clyde and odds were against her still being there in 10 minutes. It isn't worth it she decided, she could chase the two all day but what was she to do when she caught them, there was no exit strategy because at this point there was nothing to gain by catching them. It was better just to return to camp and ensure the safety of as many people as possible.

Clyde knew that it would actually be quicker than what he had stated before. He just needed to know exactly where they were headed, and once he knew, he sped up the trip and made it to the lake within 3 minutes of his last contact with the twins. He looked left and right, then walked toward where he thought the source would be.

Even in a place where children of gods resided, this was strange. The presence of so many creatures created an upheaval of the security they thought they had. It could only be worse outside of the camp. The alarm had stopped abruptly, as an order to return to the main building sounded across the camp grounds. It was necessary to know which kids were safe and who might be in trouble.

Medea ignored the order. She continued around the lake, but she could almost feel something calling her, a strange pull. If Mephisto listened, he could feel the same thing. Continue on, or go back?

Clyde heard the order but ignored it. He was walking around when he heard a voice in his head. He walked towards the lake and walked into it. He knelt when he was waist deep in the water and came face to face with his father.

"Father, is something wrong on Olympus?"

"Unfortunately, there is. I'll tell you all about, then I want you to relay this to Chiron."

"Alright. What is it you want to tell me."

Mephisto heard teh call. he was sure his sister did too. His loves towards misteries and such made him go on, try to find out what or who was callling them.

Lairya and her companions had made it back to the main camp site just as the alarm stopped and the order was sent out.

"Wow, perfect timing for the first time today. With any luck most of the students made it back. With any luck the Hades twins and that Clyde kid will have the sense to turn back now."

The Hades twins didn't have to wander far. A less frequented and eerie part of the lakeside, more of a pond than anything, provided the perfect place to find something.

Or rather, have something find them. They had taken barely two steps into the enclosed area when the water turned to ice, and caught all the meager light filtering through the trees. A dim reflection was cast, and a dark sphere hovered before them.

"Children of the netherworld; I come before you with a warning...and an offer. Chaos and war will bring the worlds to ruin. But you...it is time for you to decide who you will defend...and who you will destroy. Make your decision and pledge your alliegance wisely.

With that, the image vanished.

Clyde stood and walked out of the water. He sighed. Of course it would come down to this. I'm going to have a tough time explaining this to Chiron. But the camp has to know. He started to make his way back to the courtyard like he was told to earlier.

"Ha..." Meph said a bit surprised. "I guess this means we found the end of this Stage sister." A smile appeared on his face while saying this. "Should we hear the Sideds Proposal before doing our move, or just screw around with everyone???"

Medea stepped forward, her head tilted slightly to the side. "I'm interested," she said, her eyes narrowed. "We can play with the little kids later." She turned her face to the place where the illusion had been and said, "We wish to consider your proposal."

Interesting. You will do...nicely.

There was a sudden implosion of energy before a huge black wave wrapped around the twins. Their surroundings became dark for a few seconds, and then they disappeared completely.

Congratulations, demigods. Your first event of the year is finished. As your Fearless Leader, it is now time for me to make some recommendations, comments, concerns, and complaints, first with specific examples to this thread.

“set traps”

This would have been okay if you had told a mod exactly where the traps were laid and alluded to having traps to set, how they were set, etc. You can’t just ‘set traps.’ There is way more to it than that, and since the mods have to regulate gameplay, they need to know clearly how you went about your business.

"Lissy. Calanon. The red team captain is going to be one of you two. Make sure you let the others know. Now I must head to the blue base. I know who the captain will be over there.

I believe I said in my very first post of Capture the Flag that each team would decide on its captain. My reasoning for this was communication between the members of each team. Next time, READ.

she was approached by a wolf who stepped out of the forest.

Yes, there are probably wolves in the forest at CHB. But you don’t know that. Talk to a mod before you decide to set wolves on the other team.

He talked into his earpiece

How the bloody hell did you get earpieces and headsets?! Those aren’t around for you to use. Don’t assume you have Deus ex Machina technology at your disposal, because you don’t.

The team he had sent for the flag found a way to get around Lissy

Again, how? Lissy was hidden in a tree, hidden from view, and hidden from your advances. There needs to be more detail and action instead of a single sentence, no matter how great your impatience. Otherwise, it is godmodding, and will be voided in the future.

As she neared Lissy, she willed Morphius to morph into a mace, and prepared to beat Lissy on the head with it, in an attempt to knock her out.

Godmodding is another problem I’ve seen. While this post was edited to better fit the event in question, I’d like to address the problem here for future reference. There was no statement in this post that said how Helena knew where Lissy was located (HIDDEN, by the way). The better action would have been to look around first, and give Lissy a chance to react. Do not assume another character’s response, because they are NOT your character.

Please check Information for added stuff. Yami will be adding character information.

Player update:

Red Team:

-Calanon
Well played. You did well in reacting to other players and acting accordingly, with a decent amount of detail.
+1 relationship with LISSY.

-Lissy
Well played. You did well in reacting to other players and acting accordingly, with a excellent amount of detail. You rolled well with changing events while doing your character justice.
+1 relationship with CALANON.
Addendum: Thanks for your patience, Char <3 ~Nikki

-Jake
Well played. You did well in reacting to other players and acting accordingly, with a decent amount of detail. You rolled well with changing events.
+1 Agility.

-Leonidas
Your gameplay was sporadic, but understandable as you weren’t very active until the end. Regardless, you got back into the game and for that I applaud you. You had a decent amount of detail.

Blue Team to come.
