I am Groot.
After he finished talking to the girl from the Aphrodite's cabin, he asked what team she was on. She told him that she was playing hooky. "But isn't it like... Mandatory?" He asked her. She said yes but she didn't feel like it. "Okay then... wait if you aren't playing then... WHERE ARE THE TEAM CAMPS?!" He shouted looking around. He then ran further into the forest in search for either of the team camps.

Lairya was terribly tempted to pull out a pound arrow and nail the obnoxious kid right there but restrained herself thinking we will need everyone we can get.

"Thank you clyde. Okay then as many of you may know i am lairya of the hunters. Between clyde and i we have developed a plan that may prove successful. The teams are divided into physical and mental. Clesrly we got all of the combat specialists. However, i would ask thst none of you follow your instincts and invade the enemy immediately. I have no doubt that the red team has laid out traps. Speaking of which."
Lairya handed out three identicle pieces of paper, one to clydr and two amongst the crowed.
"these are the traps that i have laid in our area and some of the places our enemy would be wise to wait in ambush. You would be wise to avoid thes locations.
Now, onto the strategy. I am going to divide you by parent into either sneakers or strikers. Ares and bigs will be strikers while hunters, hermes and lessers shall be sneakers. We will work in 3 steps.
First, the sneakers will hide in the surrounding areas meanwhile the strikers will stand guarding the flag. In doing so our guards can hold back the enemies while those who are lying in wait can take out the distracted enemies. Doing this will allow us to have superior numbers for part two and three.
Part two will be the strikers turn to do what they do best. You will use beserker tactics in assaulting the enemy flag in order to defeat as many and cause as much havoc as possible.
Finally hermes under the cover of the strikers attacks will work on infiltrating and obtaining the flag with the least ammount of combat possible.
The hunters and lessers will remain at camp during the second two stages only the lessers will take on guard role.
There are still many variables. One of the big ones are the tricks of the clever and the wiles of the beautiful. I urge you not to let them speak. Their words could destroy you from within. Now before we proceed are there any questions about any aspect of the plan? It is important that we all understand our role to play.

5'4" concentrated sass
Natalia, who had been standing rather quietly by, warding off admirers, pressed closer to Lissy. "There sure are a lot of people," she muttered.

--

Meanwhile...

Medea felt no need to show herself. She didn't plan on participating, not in the normal way. She was on a third team: her own. In the shadows she lurked, invisible to the demigod's senses, the staff of Hades in her grip. Her lips turned up in a sneer. Only Mephist would know she was there, but he knew what would happen to him if he gave her away.

She had chosen that distance because it was far enough away to hear both plans and not get seen. Seemed the team she would have been on had a few bright tacticians.

Clyde listened as Lairya explained her plan. He accepted the map she gave him and put it to memory.

"Along with that plan was mine. We use Ares a distraction, and send the quickest in to get the flag, with some others acting as bait on the other side. At first, I was going to let the Hinters go in for the flag, then Lairya suggested the children of Hermes. And before there ae any objections to this plan, I will answer the question that's on almost every child of Ares' mind. You won't go in for the flag because they are probably expecting it. They also have Lissy over there, be careful when she talks."

Lairya whispered into Clyde's ear:
"in future you may want to show less of the unused ideas. I emphasized that it was a joined effort for the sake of moral. They are more likely to follow a leader who knows what he is doing. That said, as captain it will be your decision when to implement each phase of the plan so i recommend you join the sneakers just in case you get incapacitated."

Despite her general dislike of people lairya found that her competitive side was at work here and as such she was willing to put up with any number of annoying children of men to win this. Although she certainly wouldn't let it be known she alreafy felt like she miht ve able to respe t clyde. He had humility and a brain to match, he remided her of cerise in some ways. Ir perhaps she was merely projecting...
Lairya snapped out of her train of thought. No beed for that now, concentration is important.

"I understand. I'll be more careful next time. I'll join them then," He spoke back to the rest of the team. "I'll be joining the sneakers."

Cassandra listened to the plan, still a little unhappy about not being with Lissy, but less so now that she knew someone with brains, and someone she respected as well, was the captain, rather than one of her idiot siblings. The plan was also better than anything her siblings could come up with, especially considering the opposite team.

"Got it! We will be careful, right everyone?" she said, looking at the Ares group. She turned back to everyone.

"Lissy is a lot more dangerous than she might seem, she doesn't carry a weapon, for her own body and words are weapons. If you see her, don't communicate with her, and if you can, take her out so she doesn't charm some other Fool."

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Helena also listened, and when Clyde was done, she spoke up. "I will go with the main force, and act as a field medic, keep our numbers up. an advantage in numbers will keep them on their toes about the main force. ok?" she finished, looking at Clyde.

"Sounds good. We'll need a way to keep in touch. Kyle. You got anything?" Clyde said to the child of Hermes.

"As a matter of fact, I do. I managed to get these finally through alot of trial and error. But I've got some earpieces here that we can use." He pulls them out. "Hey Clyde. Who's leading the strike team?"

"Good question. To be honest, there aren't many here I can trust. But, I chose Cassie."

The entire Ares cabin groans.

"Why her?! She doesn't even like to fight!!"

"Because she's the only one in the Ares Cabin with a brain!" Clyde shot back.

"Me?" Calanon asked. That was pretty unexpected. He was used to being just a normal member of the team if he ever played any games. Captain? He'd feel better suited to second in command. He was about to say so, but Lissy seemed to have jumped on the bandwagon of him being the captain right away. He didn't know how to react, and he was getting more shy by the moment from the gorgeous girl's attention. "Well, I guess I'll try my best." he said, running a hand through his hair.
Lissy was taller than him, but he was fit, more better suited for combat. He'd need to figure out how to use her...
Bad choice of words. His face heated even more. He closed his eyes, and breathed out, focusing. Wow, daughters of Aphrodite could really get into your head.
He opened his eyes, and he grinned playfully. He just had to refocus his thoughts for a moment.
"Alright." he said. "It looks like we'll be doing the brunt of the work, but I'll do the hard part. Lissy-"
He turned to look at her, understanding in his hazel eyes. "How about you guard our flag, and I'll do my best to try to get theirs."

A child of Dionysus ran up to Calanon and Lissy.

"Hey. The other team captain is Slater. Awaiting orders Captain."

Several campers came out of hiding and stood around Calanon and Lissy. Athena, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Apollo, and some extra children of Aphrodite awaited his orders.

She had the feeling he wasn't entirely comfortable with the decision so she bit her lip a little in thought. "Well... I don't see why we couldn't be co-captains. Considering we're both of differing tactics it might even benefit us." She placed her hands on her hips and shrugged. "We don't need to but it's just another option. As for me guarding the flag, yeah that sounds great. I'll need something to amplify my voice though because I'm going to need to hide so that they don't take me down straight away..." She stopped in mid-thought as one of the children of Dionysus ran up, she raised an eyebrow.

"So Clyde is in charge over the way, eh? Heh... This could be fun. Alright, how about... All Apollo and Hephaestus children as well as the more physical of the children of Athena should go on the chase and strike on the other side I think... And the rest can guard, maybe some of Dionysus can scout while Aphrodite and Demeter can guard with the other half of the Athena children. How does that sound, sweetness?" She cocked her head and her hip as she waited on his answer.

Calanon had to say he was impressed with her strategy. Well, he could have come up with that as well perhaps, but he had thought her solely focused on things of a nature that didn't include winning. He gave her a smile, gaining some respect for her. "That sounds... great." he said. "I'll lead the team to capture the other flag, and you'll be here. And as for amplifying your voice..."
He thought for a moment, and then strode toward one of the trees. He lifted his sword, and swiftly cut off a rather thick branch. It fell to the ground, and he cut the end of it off smoothly, until it was rather short. Merely a foot in length. He then put it in his lap, and hollowed out the center of it with the edge of his sword. When it was done, he smiled widely, and wiped some of wood particals off his face, before he presented it to Lissy with a smile. "You can use this."

She was rather impressed with Calanon's attitude to her suggestion, most people just take her as a piece of meat and granted... sometimes she was, but that was besides the point, she had a mind too sometimes. She felt some gratitude towards him then. She saw her new toy and she smiled widely. "Oooooo! Make-shift megaphone! Je l'adore!" She held it in her right hand while she placed her left hand on his shoulder and swooped in to kiss his cheek before she swooped back again, admiring her new plaything. "This will be perfect. Yay!" She jumped up and down on the spot a little and spun around as she did so, her energy levels raring to go. "Thank you Cal!"

Her lips were so soft...
"No problem." he said breathlessly, thanking the gods his voice didn't crack. "Later, I can carve it a bit better for you, if you'd like." he offered happily. His knees might go a bit weak around her, but as of that moment, he considered them friends. Now, he just needed to wait a bit more until the game started. They had a plan, they just needed to be patient.

OKay then If eberyone understands what is happening then it is about time we get into position. Remember not to do anything reckless and try to avoid the places on the map that I have marked. Between the brains of our leaders and the strength of our member we will win here today. The red team will fall to out superior abilities this day. So, WHO'S GOING TO WIN!?
*this elicited a cheer of "we are!" from the crowd*
