5'4" concentrated sass Posts: 6,564 Group: Admin Assistant Member #85 Joined: August 8, 2011	I got some bad news the other day, I'm not exactly sure if it's sunk in yet for me yet. I've had this weird ceaseless cold for about a month. It wasn't too bad until I started losing weight, having no appetite, and experiencing abdominal pain which reached unbearable levels Friday night. I went into the doctors and they took some tests. Last night, I got a call from my doctor. They detected a slow growing abnormality in my lymph nodes, and malignant cells in the lymphocyte B cells. It's a condition called low-grade Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and you can read about it here: Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma Thankfully, they caught it early and since it's localized and hasn't spread, they can remove it quickly. However, I will be starting on a regimen of medicine beginning Monday that will make me feel tired and sick a lot of the time. The reason I decided to make this news public is because it affects the players I mod and the RP I run. I will probably be absent a lot. I'll try my best to keep updating but it does depend on my health. It's going to be a long, hard slog, but I just ask you be patient with me as I go through this. Thanks. ~Nikki

Scrolling back up the med page: Huh, Nikki has cancer... 1am on my way to the bathroom: Holy crap, it sucks to be Nikki After that it went back to the med page one. I'm more puzzled than anything. So yeah. Instead of "I hope you get better" I have something else in mind.
