Han did not shoot first! :@ Han shot. Saying anything else implies Greedo shot at all. :teach:

Are you saying greedo didn't shoot? Now it's been a while since I've watched that movie... but I seems to remember some lasers flying around in more than one direction.

Greedo shot as well. But since he got hit in da bawlz, his shot was pretty displaced.

Not in the original. He never got a chance to get a shot off. He got friiiied. Every version after the original has him shooting though.

I thought that the whole point of Han fingering the wall was to distract greedo so his shot would be off? There goes that theory :P

You aren't old enough for the "original" so you have no right to say that. :teach:

Wait, is jeff referring to the original theater release? The one that was supposed to be a standalone? Because by that logic, the sequels shouldn't be canon.

Greedo never shot at all. The point was to show han solo's character development from a ruthless mercenary to a warm loving military leader. Remaking it so that greedo shot first or at all was one of George lucas's first mistakes

Shows what you people know. I still have my original trilogy VHS tapes. Han shoots. Greedo dies. The end. :D

I'm with propro, the story and especially han's character works better if he shoots first. Plus, lets face it, greedo is a bounty hunter at point blank range. If he manages to misses from there than that is just sad.

Not all bounty hunters are good. SWTOR taught me that real quick like.

And Jeff is saying that Han shooting first is bad; he shot period.

We do too! :D

Han shoots, Greedo dies.
Darth Vader kills Emperor with visible internal conflict and doesn't scream No too.

Oh, and a Krayt Dragon sounds like a Krayt Dragon (Cause I know what a Krayt Dragon sounds like....)

It was to distract Greedo, but not so that Greedo's shot would be off, but so that Greedo wouldn't notice Han pulling his blaster out.
