Here's a second chance to join tales of the abridged. Recently due serveral members of my team venturing off to new worlds I have found myself without main chars. If you are an inspiring YouTube VA and wish to audition for an abridged series this threads for jew. Send it to: beserkxero@yahoo.com Rules: Must have a decent mic, no excessive pops and puffs. Save audition files as wav or mp3. Fit the character to some extent. #1 Jade the Necromancer. (Role: Male) Background: Jade is a witty, clever, and very sarcastic person. He often finds himself cracking jokes Luke is too stupid to understand. He has a dark past which he never speaks about but deals directly to Luke and Ion.  Voice type: Medium low tone, with a charming sarcastic flow. Lines: No, Luke... I don't think you're an idiot. It's my fault for telling you over and over not to do something retarded. [Jade being sarcastic] The only way to beat Dist is to tickle him into submission... what? I'm actually being serious this time... I enjoy travelling with a bunch of teenagers with raging hormones. Who needs disciplined soldiers when you have teens right! [Jade being sarcastic] #2 Ion /Synch the Tempest (Role: Female) Background: Ion is a young man with a lot of responsibility on his hand, being the Auldrant's version of the Pope, reading the score to the many people of the land, and giving them hope or dismay. He is very ambiguous, voice, looks, the way he dresses prompting Luke and others to question his gender. Fon Master Ion  Voice Type: A female voice attempting to sound like a girly boy, mono toned. Lines: Yeah, I'm going to need you to stop calling me a woman now. Luke, you and I are similar in many ways. Truly I say, one of you will betray me... someone who've spent these last day traveling with me... will betray me. It's written all over the score. Synch the Tempest  Voice Type: Same Voice Actor, and type but slightly deeper. Lines: I'll show YOU who's special. You all cling to the score... Letting a rock dictate how you live your lives. I aim to destroy the score, and give you free will. I am nothing but trash... All replicas are trash created to be used and thrown away... #3 Largo the Black Lion (Role: Male) Background: Not much is known about Largo's past life, except he was once married, had a daughter, and in the same day both were taking away from him causing him to become a desert roamer. He blamed the score for his problems and vowed to destroy the score with all his might. Largo doesn't seem to speak grammar well, as he talks in third person, and uses simple sentences.  Voice Type: Deep, Growly, Low tone voice. Lines: You will not disrespect Largo! Largo is your father and you will grow to respect Largo! Actually Largo was a scholar before becoming a mercenary in the desert. Largo doesn't understand why Arietta so dumb, Largo taught Arietta english, she just no get it. #4 Arietta the Wild (Role: Female) Background: Arietta was a victim of the Hod War, her parents were killed when she was a young age forcing her to find her way to a forest and become the adopted child of the Liger Queen. She spent years learning how to speak Animal, with her brothers and sisters. Van rescued her from her wild life and let her join the God Generals for her abilities to speak to animals and control them. She was taught english 101 by Largo.  Voice Type: Child like, Medium low tone. Lines: Arietta is underestimated because Arietta looks like an eight year old. But Arietta is strong as an Ox. [Ar-re-ettah] Arietta is not dumb, Arietta has the memory of an elephant! Arietta forgets nothing! Actually Arietta is sixteen, Arietta is older than Anise. [Ann-is] #5 Mieu (Role: Female) Background: Mieu is pretty much only there to be a cute mascot for the team. He is useless on all regards, and has a voice that annoys Luke to no end.  Voice Type: High Pitched, Child like. Lines: Master, look, master, master, hey master, listen, master, MASTER!? Sometimes I think Master doesn't like me... Mieu will show Master that I'm not useless. #6 Suzanne Fon Fabre (Role: Female) Background: Suzanne is the sister of the King of Kimlasca, and the wife of the Duke Crimson fon Fabre, making her the mother of the main character Luke Fon Fabre. She is a very nice mother, who constantly finds herself ill upon the disappearance of her son. She can be cruel to others who threaten the safety of her son.  Voice type: Nice sounding at all times, Soft, Medium tone. Lines: Luke, I was so worried this time you wouldn't come back to me. I'll audition... I guess. I don't have a GREAT mic, but there's no poofs or pups or whatever. It's about average quality. I should warn you though. I can't act. |

There we go, sent it out. Kind of sad that I spent probably 3 and a half hours trying to get like 2 minutes of mediocre at best voice acting out but who knows, it might just pan out nicely. |
