T'was the late afternoon when Saisuki was found amidst the dunes of The Land of Wind outside of Sunagakure, passed out and dehydrated. He was picked up by a patrol that had been happening by that saved his life and took him to the village. He ate a large fill of food and told them that he was the 13th Mizukage and how he had a message for the Kazekage relating to the Summit yesterday.

Now he was sitting in a waiting room, sleeping on the couch they'd left there. His head tilted back and his mouth wide open, though he didn't snore. Guards were watching him for any funny business, but the only funny business they'd see is the clearly hilarious business he took non-seriously.

Kyoryu walks into the room, noting the recovering Saisuki. He waits a few minutes then speaks in a voice meant to awaken the sleeping man.
"I hope you're feeling better the patrol tells me that you were found passed out outside the village," Kyoryu pulls on his kimono's shirt and then takes a seat down on a lounge chair across from Saisuki. "So tell me what is the news? I trust everyone made it back alive."

It's as if he hadn't even been actually sleeping, for once Kyoryu walks into the room, Saisuki shuts his mouth and looks at him. He nods and smiles, "Yes much better. And everyone's absolutely fine." he says to him.

He yawns and stretches momentarily, "I came to let you know that the Chuunin Exams have been decided to take place upon Turtle Island. For the most part, they'll be held once every..." Saisuki stops himself, then smiles again and scratches the back of his head, "Actually, their frequency is still up for debate. But Ideally it would be held in one of the Great Five Countries each time in a sort of rotation."

He tapped his chin a few times, "It's in my understanding that each exam can be different, depending on what the hosts of the exams so desire, some might have phases for elimination, others might be outright tournaments through and through. Also, the smaller villages of the other various lands will be invited to participate as well, so it won't be just the Great Five, which is nice. And that's all the information I got, but I imagine your support or denial of these could be relayed through messenger birds in the coming months. Could also ask Lord Raikage-kun how exactly he intends to have these tests."

Saisuki looked around, "That... would be everything, actually." he said with a smile.

"Good sounds fine to me, I will relay my approval to the Raikage soon," Kyoryu cracks his neck, then turns and knocks on the wall behind him. A man walk in and waits patiently for Kyoryu to speak, "Yes, will you have a messenger hawk prepared for me once I have finished meeting with the Saisuki? Oh, can you bring a bottle of sake please? I've had a long day and could use a drink would like to join me?" Kyoryu asks the man in a friendly tone, wondering exactly who this man is given that he calls the Raikage, Kun.

Saisuki looked at the Kazekage abit surprised, "Actually, on my way here, I decided to take up The Hokage-chan's offer of visiting the Leaf." he said blankly, before looking to the side, avoiding the Kazekage's gaze, "You could say being lost in the dunes and desert has left me traumatized, especially when I am used to swamps and forests." He chuckled, "I'd need to acclimatize first, and The Land of Fire isn't exactly barren."

He takes a step back with his hands out in front of him, before bowing lightly, "I apologize, Lord Kazekage, but I must decline the offer. But if you ever wish to learn more about this humble Ex-Mizukage, I will be at the Chuunin Exams from their start to their end, unlike the Mizukage-chan who'll probably stay faaar far away until she has to appear."

Saisuki mused to himself, before realizing he was in someone company, apparently, and he bowed to Kyoryu again, "I can see myself out, and I'll make sure to take some water with me this time." he lightly said, before turning and walking out of the door. For all his flashy personality, he didn't seem to be a flashy person.

"Have a safe journey," Kyoryu tell the man, then sits back down, grabbing the sake from the man and pouring himself a drink, Chunin Exams on Turtle Island, sounds interesting...

Kanbatsu nodded at the guard standing watch outside of the building, there were surely more in hiding and he was just there to scare away potential threats. Personally he would have prefered they had someone else there with him, as there enough hard headed idiots who would try to go for an attack anyway. He sighed slightly as he he shook his head, clearing his head of his thoughts. His students had proven themselves to have potential, but they hadn't managed to work out a decent formation in the time they had, hopefully he could change that in the next mission or two.

Kanbatsu stepped inside the building, not many people were there, so hopefully he would be able to speak with the Kazekage in a short enough time. He took a seat nearest the door, that way he could get a decent look at all who walked in and out.

Kyoryu finishes his drink and leaves his waiting room to enter his office, filled with various fossils and other ancient artifacts, he removes Yamamoto's sword and places it on the table, deciding that it would make a good wall hanging. He waits for his attendant to plop the stack of paper work that needed review from him, work had piled up while he was at the summit, but before he could begin the assistant says, "Lord Kazekage, Kanbatsu-san is here to see you."
"Ah, good I was wondering when he would come, send him in please," Kyoryu says, while removing a single sheet from the enormous stack, hopefull i can prepare these genin properly failing miserably at the chunin exams would be disastrous for the reputation of Sunagakure.
The assistant leaves the room and heads to where Kanbatsu is sitting, ready to escort him to the Kyoryu's office.

"Kanbatsu-san, the Kazekage is ready to see you now. If you would follow me." The assistant nodded at Kanbatsu, gesturing for him to follow him. He honestly could have made the trip himself, it wasn't far and he had gone plenty enough times. But there was a proper way to do things and to simply walk into the Kazekage's office would only be dirsrespectful.

Stretching his arms, Kanbatsu stood up and walked behind the assistant, who though he seen often enough, he never actually bothered to learn his name and probably never would, after all, he was only an assistant. A nameless face of the hundreds that walked the sand every day. It took a lot to garner Kanbatsu's attention, and even more to gain his respect. It wasn't often he found himself impressed by anyone less than the Kazekage himself, and his students had somehow managed that... barely.
"I'll leave you to it then." The assistant spoke, jolting Kanbatsu back to reality. "Ah, yes. Thank you." he spoke half-heartedly, not truely caring, but not wanting to seem rude.

"Lord Kazekage," Kanbatsu kneeled and bowed his head, a thing he would only do for the Kazekage, even one as young and inexperianced as the fourth. Had not known the Fourth very well, not nearly as much as he had the Second and Third anyway. But he had made his promise, and would keep to it. "It seems my students are very capable, far more than I had expected... I was wondering if there was a C rank mission available, I trust they would handle it well."

"Greetings Kanbatsu," Kyoryu nods, and then motions him to sit. "So you're team is ready for a mission? Well iI have a few in mind, but we have plenty of people to deal with them right now, is there any specific task you would want to work with? I'm sure that you're team is very unused to their new group and I think it would be better if you decided you're first mission."
He looks down at the paper in his hands and looks over the three requests on the form, "Here, take a look"
The paper reads:
[not sure about the ryo/exp and I will finalize soon and this will be removed, the proportions will be similar though]

For the last few nights a group of rather rambunctious wolves have been around our village, mostly causing trouble and making problems, but nothing too serious. But two nights a farmer lost most of his flock, and on the next night he confronted the beasts and was killed. Now the wolves have gotten more vicious and we're not sure how long we can hold out, please send us some help to save our village.

Kanbatsu nodded and stood up, stretching his legs for a few seconds before he began walking to a chair and taking a seat. Taking the form from the Kazekage, crossing his legs as he did so. That's actually quite a decent selection... He thought to himself momentarily, eyeing through the selection he was offered. Wolves would be good combat experiance for sure, but would probably encourage Unzen's recklessness... The escort mission would be able to teach them patience.

Kanbatsu scratched his chin for a moment and nodded as he came to a decision. "The Hidden Sand Village relies on the caravans to bring us food and supplies, it's only fitting that we offer protection to them. We'll do it." Uncrossing his legs, Kanbatsu stood up, handing the sheet back to the Kazekage.

"Good glad to hear it, leave as soon as you're ready," Kyoryu stands up and looks through the papers on his desk, finally grabbing one from the stack. "Here is the caravan route, if you are able to leave today, you should be able to meet up with them here," he points to a location, nearby Sunagakure. "If you can't then you'll have to find out where they are on there own."
He hands Kanbatsu the map, then open his drawer and takes out another piece of paper handing that to Kanbatsu as well, "Read this memo, it will give you all the details on the results and occurrences of the Kage summit, familiarize yourself with the details they will be rather important, I also leave up to you're own digression to tell you're team or not, but I will be making the announcement about a week from today at the ceremony at the academy," He closes his desk and then looks at Kanbatsu. "If there's anything you need don't hesitate to ask," he tells him then the assistant comes out to escort Kanbatsu out.

"Of course, lord Kazekage. We'll leave at once." Kanbatsu said as he stood up. taking a look at the assistant for a second, and then quickly turning his gaze back to the Kazekage, bowing one last time before he left. "We'll be done before you know it."

Telsar approached the entrance to the headquarters confidently, hoping the Kazekage would have time to assign him a mission. He also hoped to check in and see if his request to undertake a squad would be soon filled. Don't get your hopes up, buddy, Telsar thought to himself, Be ready for a disappointment of any kind today. With a deep breath to gather himself and maintain a stoic appearence, Telsar stepped foot within the building and took a seat in the main office, awaiting a sign or confirmation to go see the Kazekage.
