guy who is never around

So, some of you may have notice I've not been around much the past few days. Well, technically been around, but been kinda floating around the ether not doing much. The reason for this is I have a summer job working in a research group for one of my Computer Science teachers. Pretty big deal, big opportunity and all that. Also means I meet with said group every weekday and am expected to do about 8 hours of work each weekday (though when I exactly I do said work is flexible, and can even be done from home to some extent). Started Wednesday, been pretty overwhelming. Enough so that I didn't really feel like doing anything really during my weekend... I'm actually sorry about that. So anyways, I'll be a bit busy but will try to jump back into AHARP (fallen far behind, probably gonna have to skip some reading unfortunately) and be moderately active. I feel silly posting this, basically making a whole topic about me and my personal business, but I felt an explanation was deserved. So yeah... never know how to close these posts... |

Glad to hear it, dude. Sucks about your time being consumed, bit hey, life experience and paying work (especially if it looks good on a transcript/resume) is far more important. Have fun, Swank. |

Congratulations on the research spot Matowy! Nice one. I hope it's good for you even if it will be a killer to your time and energy. I'll keep you up to date with anything spectacular that happens fro Evokers in AHARP and I can even have Gerard modded into the room for class if you like? Or have him sent to the infirmary with food poisoning or something? Just lemme know. |

No need to apologize for being awesome and doing research, man! Once things get settled a little more you might find that your motivation for other things picks up a little bit. If so, awesome! If not, well, you won't be the first, or last, member to hang around the chat box/ooc and not be active much elsewhere. *pleads the fifth* |

Being modded into the classroom would be nice. I'll try to keep up with things from there. I'd hate to have to drop out, consider this job is gonna last 10 weeks... |

No worries DFlame. Good luck dude. Just tough it out and there'll be opportunities it sounds like. Hope the best for you!

Once you get a routine for yourself I think you'll be grand. I'll mod you into the hallway with my last post and say you appear to be suffering from a sore throat and headache, causing to be unable to talk at all and will be quiet until your throat feels better? I'll have Gretchen hand you a bottle of water and that way you can jump in whenever you want. |

I completely understand, DragonFlame91. I feel that way when I get a new chore like... sweeping the now carpeted stairs. So I can imagine the amplification of the feeling when you're doing something that actually matters, and takes more than 10 minutes a week. |
