Saisuki swallowed what was in his mouth and sighed, glancing over at Ginjo, then looking back at Enoki. He smiled brightly at her, "E~no~ki~chan~" he repeated.

Saisuki nodded after this, "Fire and fire accessories. I don't burn." He smiled at the Hokage and leaned in a bit closer and lowly, looking up at her, "So this Fire Shadow wouldn't really hurt this Water Shadow. I can handle the heat."

He began chuckling to himself and started eating once more.

Chan? God, it made her sound as if she were a teenager again. It had been quite a few years since then.

As he leaned in closer, her eyebrows raised slightly, and his words made her cheeks grow rather warm. She raised her arm and pressed her fingertips to one, feeling the heat there. Had his words seriously made her blush? She was a grown woman! She wasn't even sure that she was still capable of such a thing.

Another swig, and she felt her tongue loosing, due to the alcohol. "Must say, it's nice to have some adult company." she lamented, leaning back now, crossing her legs. "Usually I have to converse with kids half my age. Not that it's such a bad thing of course, but still, sometimes it's nice to have a mature conversation with someone who has lived as long as you have, seen the things you have. Being around teenagers makes me feel incredibly old." she gave a dry laugh.

Cheff was actually paying close atention to the conversation. That was one of the skills that came with this kind of job. He slowly went near Ginjo and whispered. "You should take a few notes from your senpai kid." Gingo swallowed half his plate in one bite before answering. "I swear, I'm going to execute you." With a smile on his face, Cheff gave another ration to the Tsuchikage, and then went back to cooking.

Saisuki closed his eyes as he swallowed this food, "It is nice, though isn't it? Being around children and teenagers." he leans on the counter a bit and sighs, if a bit longingly, poking his food with his chopsticks, "It is... nice... to be around those who've not been defined by conflict."

He looked up at the roof of the stand, "War is the most inefficient diplomatic tool that exists."

Enoki's dark eyes moved to the counter as Saisuki's words mulled over in her thoughts. The youth of today had no idea of the struggles the Great Shinobi War, what Enoki and most of her older peers had been through. She'd lost team-mates, friends, family, it was hard to not let things like that effect you. Some days Enoki just felt older beyond her thirty two years. She'd been Hokage for twelve, struggling to ensure her village was safe and protected.

Her eyes travelled over to Saisuki, somehow he seemed to be much more carefree than herself. How had he managed such a thing? She wasn't sure how long his reign as Mizekage had lasted, but he'd been smart enough to leave the position in case something were to happen to him, like the Mizeukages before him. "Some days I just wish I could be their age again." she admitted, her voice now strangely soft. "But when I was their age, I was out fighting for my life and trying not to die, while those I loved fell around me. Sometimes I find myself envious of their peace, that they can grow up in a somewhat safer world, and yet, if I hadn't have gone through my experiences, I wouldn't be the woman I am today."

Saiuski smiled, "But you're alive, right?" He leaned over and prodded her forehead with his two front fingers, "Isn't that something joyous in itself?"

He sighed and placed his hands upon the counter, "There is a limit to what most people can see when looking upon the world. I've seen it too many times. People who fought against misfortune. People that strive for the future. They all prayed for happiness and continued to fight." he said. He looked over Enoki once more, "We, who have survived, owe it to those who have fallen, regardless of their intentions, allegiances, or connections to continue to move forward. Life is beautiful, after all, Enoki-chan."

He looked over at the Chef and waved, "A glass of water, Lord Sandaime Tsuchikage please?"

"HAHAHA! I was wondering why there were so many Shadows on my shop tonight."Cheff (Leo) handed the old Mizukage teh glass of water. "But I must inform you that you are mistaken." He smiled at Ginjo.

"He's the Third's father..." With that he continued eating. "And no, we have no idea why he is still alive." That last sentence showe a bit of anger from teh current Tsuchikage.

Saisuki nodded in apology, "The resemblance is uncanny and I've admittedly had a bit much to drink earlier."

He yawned, at least it was dark now. Bed seemed near. Mmm... Bed.

As Saisuki pressed his fingers to her forehead, she was surprised at how cool his touch was. She blinked and looked to him, taking another drink of her sake as he spoke, noting how little was left in the bottle. She could possibly order another bottle, but she was in danger of getting rather drunk if that happened and that probably wouldn't be a good thing. On the other hand, she was already beginning to become slightly woozy, her cheeks flushing with heat and she wondered if there was any turning back.

She'd had a rather shit day afterall.

"To be honest, some days I am amazed that I am still alive. There have been many moments where I could have lost my life and yet here I am." she ran a hand through her silver locks. "I just want to make the most of my time. To make a difference, an impact. At the rate things are going, I doubt I will have any children to pass my legacy on to." she gave a bitter laugh before continuing. "If I can achieve something that people will look back on and be proud of, then I will be truly happy."

"Children, huh?" Saisuki said, bringing his attention back to the Hokage sitting beside him. He eyed her once more up and down like back at the summit. Saisuki drank his water as he did this and set the glass down. "Hard to believe you'd have a hard time getting that done, if I say so myself."

He looked back forward and hiccuped. Did he drink the water too fast? Wait, no, there was warmth in his face. Sake's catching up.

"Bed." he said as he stood up, "I'll go put myself in one. Ginjo-san, closest inn is...?"

"Up the main street, 3rd building to the right. Is the one with the Hidden Stone logo on the wall." Ginjo continued eating. "Tell them I sent you and to put it in my account." He smiled at the old Mizukage and then loked at the Hokage. "I think you should do the same Lady Hokage."

The flush returned to Enoki's cheeks, had he really just said that? Thinking about it properly, it had been quite some years since she had last been intimate with another human being. No-one had exactly tickled her fancy, most of them were tolerable but not someone she wished to share a bed with.

She hiccuped and broke herself out of her thoughts before downing the last of her bottle. Examining it, she frowned when she realized there was no more, and that bedtime had been announced. What was she, six? Still, the idea of rest was one that appealed to her.

She stood, swaying slightly, sake always hit her the hardest. She looked to Saisuki and gave him a smile. "Mind walking me there? Good chance I may trip over my own feet." she giggled, her voice somehow not slurring. At least, not yet.

Saisuki made his way up to Enoki and held his arm out, "Peas in a pod, huh? he says with a smirk, "hold on then, Lady Hokage."

Being a crutch was never bad. Saisuki always liked to help out anyway. His vision was slightly blurred and he tried to blink it away. It didn't work. For a moment, he closed his eyes and his perception shifted to that of Enoki's, being even worse. Oh god.

He switched to Ginjo. There we go. Someone sober-ish. It make Saisuki chuckle, he always did find his appearance through someone else's eyes rather strange. Never the less, it helped to keep him from swaying.

Enoki moved to Saisuki and swung her arm around the back of his neck, accidentally leaning on him a little too much due to her loss of balance at the moment. "You're a gem." she grinned at him, reaching out and patting his nose with a finger before chuckling to herself.

Inwardly she was cursing herself for exhibiting such behaviour, but the alcohol was now in control and all Enoki could do was go along for the ride. "Make sure not to let me go!"

Saisuki nodded, his vision returning to his own, "Of course, of course." he said, holding her closer and with more upward force than you'd atypically hold someone. Of course, for someone stumbling, it wasn't off.

Together they made their way to the Inn Ginjo had previously directed them to. He laughed momentarily after walking into the lobby; wouldn't it be funny if this was a love hotel? Naaah, it wouldn't be.

Saisuki made his way with Enoki to the receptionist and smiled at them, "A room for me, please. Ginjo-s... I mean, the Yondaime Tsuchikage said he could cover my tab." He looked down at Enoki and nudged her, letting her know that they were there in case she wanted to attempt to ask for her own room.
