Kanbatsu made the last few adjustments to the small area of desert he had chosen as a meeting spot for his squad. He had read through their pysch profiles, and there was no telling what could happen if they gathered inside the village. A secluded area with few passerbyes was surely best for the time being, and there were plenty of spots like that in the desert, but only a few had what he needed.

He tore into a nearbye catcus, ripping out a decent chunk and taking a drink from it. "Yes, the shadows are gone... They should be here soon enough." Though he had yet to meet his students personally, he had made sure that they would know where to find him. It was only a matter of time before he would see if they were as good as they seemed.

Sin was told to go to this spot to meet his "teacher". Not that he really thought he could learn much. But as a supervisor for missions, he understood having someone above him.
As Sin approaches, he releases a few tarantulas that crawl out about the desert, setting up a kind of perimeter for Sin. The tarantulas blend into the sand a bit to be inconspicuous.
Sin approaches the teacher and looks about. Apparently he was the first one to arrive.
"I thought meeting here was something a bit more urgent. Others seem late..." he says aloud.

Kanbatsu took a last drink from the peice of cactus before tossing it to the ground. "So we have our first arival, good." He eyed his student, he seemed not very tall or muscular but he certainly dressed uniquely, if not rather improper for the desert. He shook his head in disgust as he counted the weaknesses that could easily be exploited from Sin's apparel alone.

"You're going to suffer from dehyrdration pretty damn quick if you're going to dress like that."
Kanbtasu pointed to the cactus he had previously taken a chunk out of. "Drink up, you're going to need your energy when the others get here." He rubbed his eyes a bit, hopefully he had been right about these kids.

Jito arrived a short time after strolling up with his naginata resting on his shoulder in in left hand.
He noticed a spider or two on his way towards the spot but paid them no heed.
Jito waved at his soon to be instructor and his new teammate.
"Yo. Sorry I'm late, was just strolling around and lost track of time." he said

Unzen finally decided to go to the meeting place. He was disapointed to see his teamates. Lovely, none of them are what I need, just trash. He then stood behind the group, still at the sight of the Sensei.

Kanbatsu smiled as the remaining two students finally showed, though it had lessened the amount of time he wanted to spend talking to them before they began what he had planned for the day. He took a quick look at the second student, he was certainly dressed a bit smarter but yet the choice of armour may have been a mistake, weight isn't something you want in the desert. Finally his eyes turned to his final student, hiding out behind the others. White and lightweight clothing, if not for his small size, he could easily have the most potential.

"So I finally have my students..."
He spoke, eyeing over his students one last time. "While I know all your names, you most likely don't know mine. I am Kanbatsu Areno, and I promise you there are only a select few stronger than me, so you'd better listen up. I want to see just how good you kids are, so we're going to spar, you three against me. You have one minute to get a drink, then we start."

"And before I forget..." Kanbatsu closed his eyes for a moment, focusing his chakra "Earth Style: Stone Armour." While the effect was not immediatly obvious. his skin seemed to have gained a slight shine to it.

"Your minute starts now."

Sin takes the cactus drink and drinks it slowly. He wasn't all that hot, as the coat was something he had worn his whole life. He wasn't quite sure why his family wore it, but it felt the most natural to him.
He notices that the student that he had been sparing with was in the group as well. "Well, he'll at least make a fine diversion. May even work as a tank," Sin said aloud, not seeming to care that the person he was talking about and looking at was right there.

He heard the teacher's words and smiled from within his coat. A full minute. That would be a good amount of time for sin to set up.
He starts to release bark spiders from the gourd that crawl about the sand and spread out. After a while, they dig themselves into the sand and wait. Their sandy brown color was even better for camoflage than the tarantulas since they weren't as bulky.
The tarantulas he previously sent out remained in the perimeter. They wouldn't help much judging by the name of that technique the teacher seemed to have used. At least, it seemed like he used a technique.
Sin looks at the other two as his parasitic insects start to fly out and fill the air above the group, fanning out as a sheet.
"Alright," Sin explains to the two, "We don't have long. Unless you're a fighter," he says pointing to Jito, "I assume the bullhead here," pointing to Unzen, "Is the physically strongest of us. I don't know what you do," turning back to Jito, "But can it be used to distract him? If so, I should be able to immobalize him and then bullhead can punch through whatever this 'armor' is."

"Baaaaaka. (Idiot)" Unzen said towards Sin. "You saw his technique, the bites of your little minions are probably useless aginst him now." Since he fought the spiders before, he knew that they weren't special enough to acomplish something like that. "Even my strenght is probably not enough." Unzen started to walk towards the group. He suddenly smiled. "Maybe him will be able to give me what I want after all!" He suddenly began to run towards Kanbatsu, aiming one of his fist towards the left side of the sensei's face.

Kanbatsu turned his face slightly as Unzen's fist connected with his face, though he showed no other reaction to it. he glanced down at his student and raised his eyebrow.

"You still have twenty seconds, don't waste them."

He tapped his finger against his arm, allowing a slight *chink* noise to be heard.

With a crazy smile on his face, and without separating his fist from teh sensei's face, Unzen decided to try the same trick again. From the back of his hand, a small bone projectile was fired towards teh Sensei's eye.

Sin watches as Unzen just keeps charging at the sensei. He shakes his head and comments, "He really is just a charging bull. He's not going to make much progress like that."
He turns to Jito and says, "So, quickly fill me in on what you specialize at and then I'll get to trying to hold down the sensei. My spiders can't get through armor when I can't see any chinks in it. So I'll just trap him with webbing, then you and bullhead over there can try and break him.

Kanbatsu stood still as the small projectile bounced from his eye with yet another small *chink* sound. His nostrals flared a bit as he grabbed Unzen by the collar of his shirt and threw him back towards Jito and Sin.

"10 seconds." He said, cracking his knuckles as he spoke.

Jito watched as one of his new teammates seemed to try and take advantage of the minute that Kanbatsu gave them, with no seemingly effect.
He turned and responded to Sin "I'm a Taijutsu specialist with a touch of ninjutsu for defense and versatility" he said "I doubt any of us will be able to make it through his armor so it's pointless to try, but I would assume we should throw everything we have at him to show him our worth."

He turned towards the teacher and Unzen and removed the cloak on his right shoulder then readied his weapon in both hands in a casual stance...waiting for the 10 seconds to be over.

Sin sighs, commenting, "So I'm the only one that uses ninjutsu mainly. Well, that may work out in the end. You'll make good meatshields..."
He raises his hand and yells to Unzen, "Bullhead! Duck now!"
The bark spiders under the sand all shoot aciniform (the type spiders use to tie up insects) webbing up to the parasites flying in the air, creating lines of web all over. The parasites pull in close to Kanbatsu.
"Arachnid Sealing Technique: Aciniform Wrap"
The parasites start to fly in circles around Kanbatsu, wrapping the webbing around him as they do. The webbing concentrates and sticks together as it wraps.
"Aciniform silk is the toughest webbing a spider has. My bark spiders aciniform is about as tough as steel... pound for pound. But since it's so clustered now, it should hold him pretty well," Sin explains as the technique starts.

"Time's up." Kanbatsu spoke, just short of the bugs closing in. Forming a single hand seal and taking in a deep breath, preparing for the insects. "Wind Style: Divine Wind!" he exhaled, forming several small twisters, kicking up the sand and spiders into the air. With the newly formed sandstorm, he had created some cover, though he doubted he would need it. It would be good practice for the students none the less.

"What, is that all? How can such you expect to win when a simple gust of wind can interupt your attacks!" He jumped between the spiders and insects, slashing at them with his bladed gloves. "If you can't play to your strengths, play to a weakness of your foe!"
