Seeing that Unzen and Kanbatsu had things well in hand, Jito did as he was told and went to the tent that was provided for them to get some rest. |

Sin returned his tarantulas to the gourd after giving them a well deserved meal of parasites. He then prepares to go to sleep. "A trench next?" he notes aloud, "Well, if we're going through it, then let's hope there's no kind of avalanch or something." He then takes his sleeping gear and went to the tent to sleep. |

Foragy returns with the food and gives it to the shinobi, "Sleep well," he tells them as he leaves to return to his own tent. The night passes on into a dark and eerie silence, save for the occasional animal calls. The night passes without trouble leading into a warm morning and breakfast. Foragy exits his tent and heads over the shinobi's camping area, carrying with him a deliciously decadent looking breakfast. |

Kanbatsu glanced at his blade, noticing the reflection of Foragy approaching.More importantly, approaching with food. Looking over at his sleeping students, he kicked a bit of sand in their direction hoping to give them a bit of encouragement to get up. "Rise and shine! If you two don't get up I'll let Unzen eat it all." He had brought rations for himself, along with plenty of water, and didn't bother with any of the food Foragy had brought, his students would need it more anyway. |

"Already on it Sensei." unzen said grabbing a nice portion of everything for himself. "Gonna take a nap after this, so don't disturb me." He said while eating his 'rations'. |

Jito was awake, just meditating. He was interrupted when Sensei kick a bit of sand their way to get their attention. Jito got up and brushed the sand off of himself and just gave a slight scowl, and went and got his share of food that Foragy brought over. "A simple 'get up' would have sufficed." he said to Kanbatsu before he ate his food. |

Sin got up after a long sleep and got his food along with feeding his spiders some. He was a bit drowzy as if he'd been sleeping for days, but he quickly got over it and ate. He looks out in the distance and comments, "If we really are going through a canyon, I wouldn't mind sending my spiders on patrol again." |

The caravan begins again, all the members seeming nervous and scared, their impending entrance in to the Bone Trench is making the whole lot of them on edge. As the hours pass finally in the distance a large rock wall arises in the distance, and as the caravan gets closer and closer, a wide "v" like passage appears near the middle. The trench has a flat walkway in the middle, but the wall are slanted at about a 45 degree angle, perfect for running into to attack unsuspecting travelers, and overhead are large partial arc like stone spire, almost as if the entire trench were inside a large stone ribcage. Finally as the caravan reaches the precipice of the passage, is it clear that the walls themselves are almost 200 feet long and any attack would be easy to notice long before it was upon you. |

Jito was sitting by the driver of the lead wagon and was keeping a wary eye on the surroundings. "Hmm...since and attack could be seen long before they are upon us, there would either be traps to disable the caravan or they are so strong they don't expect much resistance." He wasn't talking to anyone in particular but just felt he needed to voice his thoughts. |

Kanbatsu looked around the area, considering all possible ambush points that could lie ahead. As he had mentioned before, he wasn't expecting any trouble on these roads but they were hired for a reason, and for that he would stay on guard. "Look, if bandits actually do show up, I'd rather you three don't try to be heroes and charge to your deaths, stay behind me and provide support." His eyes remained ever vigilant as he spoke, infiltration was his speciality after all, and he wasn't going to allow anyone to catch him off guard. |

The caravan moves speedily, but tentatively through the bone trench, wary of the impeding danger. After a while the trade caravan stops, then a moment later a large group of brigands run down the trench walls, as they get closer their appearance reveals that they appear to be poor folk, peasants and the like, wearing rags and carrying pitchforks and shovels, and it is very likely that a show of power will deter the would-be attackers. |

The Big Bad Wolf

It took only a moment before Kanbatsu spotted the oncoming attack, if you could even call it that. It looked they were just starving villagers and desperate for food, but no matter the reason they had it still didn't excuse an attack on a caravan. "Don't even bother attacking them, you'd probably kill them on accident if you did." He ]shot a glance down at Unzen for a moment, considering his wording. "Or on purpose." "It's really not my preference... But try to find a way to get rid of them, I'll support you if it's too much for you kids to handle, but they shouldn't be a threat." Kanbatsu stretched his arms a bit, but he doubted he'd be needed for such a small problem. Fear, is a good way to defeat an enemy. Try to work with that." |

Jito nodded. He decided to try and scare them with the "Killing Intent" technique, it wasn't a jutsu really just something anyone that had a strong intent to kill others could do. Jito didn't mind having to kill them but he found it unneeded at this time, so instead he hopped out of the wagon and stood in their path with his weapon out. He had a deathly glare on his face that promised death to any that stood forward. He would kill them, but hoped that they would run away so he wouldn't have to go through the effort. |

The peasant marauders seem unaffected by the young boy standing near the caravan, regardless of his posture or facial expression, maybe something a little more flashy would work. |
