Mission Brief

Sayomi reached the outskirts of the manor and was hidden within some bushes looking at the manor.

The manor stood tall at two stories and in the rising moonlight, the almost foreign architecture looked daunting and intimidating. Upon the roof could be seen monstrous statues overlooking the courtyard. A watchtower stood upon the east wing with 1 guard looking out from it.

The walls are solid stone with several windows lit up and Sayomi could faintly hear music being played. It looks as though Kimizawa may be entertaining guests tonight.

A wall surrounds the courtyard with only one visible entrance via a gate at the front. In front of the gate stand two men each brandishing weapons.

The bushes keeping her hidden, Sayomi sat back and began to strategize. Whilst her body craved to go in to the compound all guns blazing (despite the fact she was a ninja and rarely use any weapons as her crystals did enough damage) here would be a good chance her target would catch wind and escape, and then she would have to go the extra mile to follow her and kill her on the run.

No, if she killed the guards silently and swiftly, she could reach her target unnoticed and have more fun with her before killing her.

Of course, it seemed as though she had guests tonight, if she acted quickly she might be able to have much more enjoymen out of this mission than she had originally anticipated.

Her first plan was to quickly take out the guards at the entrance to the courtyard, then to get onto the roof and take out the guard in the watchtower. Then, she would sneak into the house, making her way to the room where Kimizawa was entertaining her guests.

Trapping them in the room, she would be able to unleash her sadism upon them, and with her mission complete, she could then return home.

A grin appeared on her face. Most excellent.

She wondered if perhaps she could draw at least one of the guards away from their post, and threw a rock over to some nearby bushes, hoping the sound would trigger their suspicion.

The guards didn't react much to the bushes rustling. Likely just the wind. The tall well built man leaned over and whispered something to the smaller girl with him. She appeared to giggle slightly at whatever was said. Perhaps there was slightly more than a professional relationship there.

Sayomi glared at them, clearly annoyed that her attempt at a distraction hadn't worked.

She picked up another rock, this time hurling it at the taller man. He was clearly the best one to take out firs, but Sayomi knew full-well that looks could be deceiving, and the other girl was not to be underestimated.

The rock flew true and hit the man in the head. The tall man was knocked back by the rock and hit his head on the cold metal gate behind him. He stumbled for a few seconds trying to keep his balance while the girl pushed a button on the door behind her. Two men in similar uniforms to the guards walked through the front door and stepped up to the gate but didn't open it. These men wielded crossbows. This time it was clear they knew something was up. The woman tended to the man's now bleeding forehead.

Up in the watchtower the man looked down on what happened and a second head popped up from the far side of the watchtower and looked around for Sayomi. There was an aggressive intruder to find and put down.

Dammit. Her plan had backfired and now it looked like this was just going to have to be done the old-fashioned way. Messy and loud, just the way Sayomi liked it.

Quickly her hands came together in a number of seals. "Shōton: Suishō Meikyū no Jutsu." she exclaimed, as a large amount of crystal flowers were made instantly, before she grew and formed them into a gigantic labyrinth at a quick speed. It was a complete barrier, no-one could get in, nor out. This way, her target could not escape before she could reach her.

Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point would be rendered useless, and its wide surface would disperse the force of wide range attacks, reducing their effectiveness. They were all trapped, and were doomed to be torn apart by Sayomi's hands.

Her hands came together once again. "Suishō Bunshin no Jutsu." A clone made of crystal appeared beside her, nodding to it's maker as she performed seals one more time. "Kesshō no Yoroi." A sheet of crystal now covered Sayomi's body, transparent and barely noticeable unless in light. This way, she would not only be protected from physical attacks, but her own would be much stronger.

There was a reason Sayomi was a formidable opponent.

She and her clone leapt from the bushes and headed towards the guards, Sayomi aiming a heavy punch at the guard on the left's face.

The guards looked at the crystal barrier forming around them and began to panic. They were cut off against a hidden force with no reinforcements. As Sayomi burst from the bushes the guards reacted. They were trained to meet hostility with deadly force and so they tried to do so.

The two inside the gate launched their crossbow bolts one at each of her forms. The man was still a little out of it but he picked up the spear on his back and got ready to meet them. The girl similarly drew the sword at her belt and gracefully took a stance ready to meet Sayomi when she made it.

Sayomi and her clone dodged the bolts with ease, the real one bursting into maniacal laughter. She was a kunoichi, nimble and swift. The clone met with the man with the spear, the real Sayomi heading for the girl, who was holding a sword before her. Sayomi scoffed. That sword was useless against her.

The two guards with the crossbows had to go, Sayomi couldn't deal with them shooting her as she brought the girl to her downfall. Her hands made seals yet again. "Kesshō: Rokkaku Shuriken: Ranbu." Crystal particles formed around her, condensing into numerous shurikens before she flicked her hand deftly and sent them flying towards the two guards. It would be difficult for them to avoid the crystal shurikens unless they were nimble shinobi.

Her attention moved back to the girl, and Sayomi held an arm before her. "Shōton: Suishō Tō." This technique needed no hand signals, a blade made of crystal forming along her forearm. "You know what, I'll let you have the first attack." she smiled maliciously at the girl, sneering. It had been a while since she'd had this much fun.

The crossbowmen barely had time to scream before they were quickly taken down. They fell to the floor behind the gate and a pool of read began to form around their unmoving bodies.

The spearman, Had finally gained composure just in time for the clone to reach him. She was too close for his spear to be effective. He took a step back and thrust the spear out towards the clone in a smooth motion. The spear's head began to glow as it swiftly flew forward.

The girl wasn't so swift to attack. She took Sayomi up on her offer.

"My pleasure"

Rather than charging at Sayomi the girl pulled a horn from in her tunic and blew on it. The sound was met similarly in the watchtower.

Around the outer gate of the house 5 different trapdoors hidden in the earth opened and 4 men brandishing weapons stepped out of each. Luckily for Sayomi 3 of them opened outside the barrier, but the 8 remaining men converged on her forming a circle around her. None of them attacked quite yet, they were dealing with a Shinobi and you never knew what would happen. The girl spoke again.

"You are outnumbered by our forces. You should surrender and save your life. My master is kind and will surely let you live if you surrender peacefully."

The clone grabbed the spear just as it was about to impale her, making a swift movement with her other hand to break the wood and therefore snap the spear in half.

Sayomi looked at the girl, shaking her head ever so slightly.

"I don't recall 'being a complete and utter pussy and calling for backup' as an attack." she sneered, thinking the girl incredibly weak and not exactly worth her time. She had never asked for backup. Then again, she'd never needed to.

She smirked at the newcomer who had asked her to surrender, her sadism easily seen in her attractive features.

"Surrender is never an option for me. I may be outnumbered, but I am certainly not outskilled. I will enjoy spilling your blood."

She rushed forward at a fast speed, aiming one of her blades for his neck.

As the clone grabbed the spear, a sharp burning sensation was sent throughout it's body causing it to disappear before it had a chance to snap the spear. The rest of the warriors seemed to gain some morale from seeing that this shinobi wasn't completely invincible like they feared.

The girl managed to block Sayomi's strike. When she made contact with the blade an electric charge rushed out of the woman's sword and into Sayomi's. Luckily for her, crystal isn't so good at conducting electricity so this had no noticeable effect. Behind Sayomi however 4 or the 8 people launched into a coordinated strike against her, one attacking to the centre, one to either side and one above her.
