Maako turns to Rose and smiles. "Of course I can fly! HAHAHA!" He says gloating. Rose charges at him and tries to attack as he gloats and doesn't see her closing his eyes. When he opens a bright light covers the entire area blinding him. "Gahh... what kind of stupid trick!?" Maako yells. He turns his whole body to fire and begins to descend fast to the ground again in one of the grids. He slams to the ground and reforms into a human shape, then takes his human form. He sits down and begins to rub his eyes. "Shit... stupid... lights." Maako complains. |

Good job. Feel free to fade out, there isn't much else you can do. *sigh* I thought you'd never ask. Goodluck Mimi *wink* grrrr I told you not to call me that. Rose's body faded out of existance and her conciousness was returned in full to Mito's mind. The energy that she was siphoning off of him to hold a shape stopped and he could really feel it. It was like taking off weighted boots except his mind. |

"Ok then." Jim then concentrates on making a vacuum in the shape of a wall reaching 3 feet in front of him, 6 feet up, and 12 feet across. "This is a bit hard so I can't move very fast. You will probably will need to send him to me." |

Mito nodded and then began to form a plan. Obviously this would only work if he didn't know it was coming. "Okay, you may notice you are trapped in a box, none of us can see into any of the other boxes but anything can pass through the wals freely. when I say "bring it on" use it at that wall." Now that he had finished whispering the plan Mito pointed to the wall directly in front of him and walked through that wall into that box. Rose had seen which box he fell into before she left but there was every chance he had left that one. Either way it was a good starting point. He had picked the box that was in a straight line from the box where he had landed. He turned to his right and eliminated all the walls in that direction to see if his opponent was still in the same box. |

"Ok then." Jim kept the wall up and waited for the signal, trying to expand the wall outward and upward very slowly. |

Maako looks around unable to see anyone. He turn into fire, and transforms into a blue fire ball. With focus and intense concentration he increases his heat and temperature. The heat spreads quickly in the room... the room itself was now about 130 Degrees Fahrenheit (Roughly 54 Degrees Celsius) and was growing hotter by the post (Until stopped it would grow 5 degrees Fahrenheit). This was an easy way to smoke out the two jokers. |

It was evident that he had moved. Disappointing, that threw off the plan slightly. He hoped for some sign of his position. he was met with a flare as his opponent transformed. Sound, good indicator. He opened up that grid in that direction making a tunnel straight to his opponent. He needed to make him charge. feigning weakness from the heat would be a good way to do it. Although as time went on he knew he would have to feign less and less. Th heat combined with the constant large illusion wasn't going to last much longer. He slouched down slightly and increased his rate of breathing. "You chastise me for hiding behind the grid and then pull this." a bead of sweat dripped from his forehead. "Lets stop the running and hiding then. Come get me then." |

Jim felt the heat wave and faltered a bit, only to notice that the vacuum was much easier to maintain with the air molecules moving faster. He re-expanded the wall then got close to doubling its proportions and stopped so he would be able to control it when the time came for the capture. |

The ball began to spin, the heat grew to 135 F, or 57 C. |

Mito wiped the sweat from his brow. The enemy wasn't taking the bate. time for a new strategy. He created an audio illusion behind him so Jim would hear. He isn't taking the bait. Follow the arrows and they will take you to an adjacent box. after that the plan remains the same. And hurry, that heat is getting worse by the second." He created a series of white arrows along the floor to lead Jim through the maze without being seen by the fireball. To conserve energy he removed the outer layer of boxes that weren't being used. despite still being a drain on him it was a relief to have a big portion of the illusion gone. He began to walk briskly towards the fireball. fast enough that it didn't seem suspicious but not so much that he would beat Jim to his new position. Edited by Mistriousfrog, Sep 16 2012, 06:25 AM.

Jim immediately moved to the new position, following the arrows and feeling the heat. He thought it odd that he wasn't sweating, but remembered that he is mainly a shadow. The vacuum was decreased to its original size so he could move quickly. Once he got to his position, he grew the vacuum to the double proportional size he had before moving. |

When Jim reached the position that Mito wanted him in there was a cross on the floor and one more arrow He hoped that his comerade got the message. And more importantly that he would be in position when Mito needed him to be. From as close as he was to the fireball the heat was tremendous. He wouldn't be able to standthere for long, his strength was waning from the energy and the heat. It was time to put an end to this. He breathed in deeply. Then looked up to the fireball with determination. "You wanted me wel here I am." He yelled over the roar of the flame. "You think you can stop me with a little heat? Well Bring it on! I'll take you down anyway!" The signal was made, he had to rely on the fact that his partner would succeed here for his plan to work. He crouched down low, waited just a moment for Jim to use his power. He theorised one of two things woud happen here. the vaccum would force Maako to take human form or it would destroy him outright. If destruction then fine, if human then they would still be vulnerable. He jumped from his crouching position and went to kick where Maako's head would reappear if he did go back to a human. Please let this work. Since when did you doubt yourself. |

Jim had stopped at the cross and was pointed in the indicated direction of the arrow. He continued to expand the vacuum wall until it was about 4 feet in front of him, 15 feet up, and 30 feet across. His body was starting to flicker because of the energy he had to put into to maintain it. As he heard the signal, Jim rushed the vacuum forward and caused it to go forward in a cone-like fashion so that it would enclose over anything in front of it inside of a large vacuum sphere. 'Hope this works.' |

Great teamwork on the students part. They only but made one fatal mistake... Maako was currently spinning in his fire state, with the vaccum around him, it withers Maako's flames forcing him to quickly turn back to a human. Mito was quick to try and kick at Maako's head when he became vulnerable but because Maako was spinning out of control. Mito lands a kick to Maako's right shoulder, but is thrown back by the force of him spinning injuring his leg. Maako lands on his head and slows down from spinning. He growl holding his shoulder as he stands up. "Man... that kinda hurt..." Maako yells. He dashes forward punching Jim square in the face forcing him to fly backwards a bit and land on the ground. He turns completely into fire and flies above Jim turning into a hammer and slams down on Jim's stomach turning back into a human as he does it, slamming his elbow into Jim's midsection. He flips sideways to distance himself. "I'll just have to take you out first. The other kid is pretty useless." Maako says smiling. Edited by TheUltimateMaddogg, Sep 18 2012, 08:54 AM.

Mito despite being throw off be the spin mito still managed to land on his feet. He did fall to one knee as the pain hit though. Well, it was a minor injury to be sure but still it could put him off. It was what Maako had said next that really threw him off. He was the useless one. In this battle he would have to be the brains if he was to do anything here. His energy was slowly waning from keeping up the grid up so he got rid of all of them except the 9 squares around Maako. it was time for a new strategy. If Maako wanted to deal with Jim, then that is what he would get. Mito sent out a mental message to Jim. I'm going to be playing my last card here. goodluck. Mito sat down. This would only last maybe 5 more minutes at best. Two More Jims appeared next to the original and rose phased in next to Mito. She acted as his eyes and ears while he lost himself completely in meditation to preserve all these illusions. The last few grid squares disappeared to leave Maako looking at three where there was formerly one. |
