The city of Touslan was surrounded by a 10 foot tall wall of stone, the gates made of hard, heavy oak outlined with Iron. During the daytime the gates were open to travelers. Luckily, it was daytime. The guards above the gate wore chainmail and leather and held spears as they stood at the ready, short bows at their backs. The crowd bustled this way and that, back and forth. The new day was sunny. It was a good day to reach a destination. |

Darkness in the Night

'Ah, Touslan, I hope I can find what I'm looking for in this city.' The young man with four blades looked around, thinking about where to go next. He hoped to possibly learn something about smithing or a possible way to unlock his blades that his father has left in his care. Aedan proceeded towards the gate, his cloak flapping in the day breeze, his head hooded from the sun.

The City had great buildings of impressive architecture further in, but up close it was mainly two story shops and Inns. People of all races mingled and walked amongst each other. Aedan stood at a crossway. Forward seemed to bring him into a merchants quarter. Left looked like it had an Inn down the street, and right seemed to have a fountain where people bought food from stalls. Edited by POOHEAD189, Dec 7 2012, 02:52 AM.

Aedan began to head towards the merchants quarter, maybe he could find a blacksmith, someone like him. Maybe the young man could learn something from another blacksmith beside his father. He wanted to become a capable blacksmith after all and learning from only one person wouldn't do it. One reason why Aedan left his hometown was mainly because of this reason; he gave a smile and proceeded. |

They walked down the path, chatting like old friends. It wasn't long until they made it to Touslan. Alora strode forward confidently through the crowd. |

Lone went to his knees and threw his arms into the air. "We made it! Although in truth it was never that bad." He got up and put on a sort of cheese smile and walked fore ward, swaying a bit. |

Kanti walks behind the duo and smiles at how excited Lone is. Well, he can't say anything; he's just as excited to be in a new setting. Looking around at the buildings and people, he notes the activity of the crowd. "I wonder what draws the people here." He assumes market for now. Although....Kanti eyes widen and he quickly looks around to double check something. "Good" He remembered Pleasanton |

She led them through the crowd, Elves and men bustling this way and that. The pretty Alora spun right before the Marketplace and gave them a smile. "Would you boys want to visit the marketplace? Oooor should we go straight to where I live?" she asked. Before her, people haggled with all different sorts of goods. |

Lone had seen his fair share of markets and always wanted to see a magician's house. "I say to the house. I do like to see new places and I've always wanted to see the inside of a Magician's house!" He was smiling very charmingly and walked with a little wabble in his step as he followed Alora. |

Kanti doesn't see an urgent need to visit the market, though at some point he might want to replace some lost supplies. "I see no harm in going to your home first" |

"Good idea." she said, almost seeming embarrased. She waved for them to follow, and they set off passed the side of the marketplace. If the two behind her weren't careful, they'd bump into townsfolk. Alora seemed right in her element, weaving over the much taller people, making sure to glance back at the two as she walked. Within 10 minutes, they made it down 3 blocks, and she halted at the gates of a tall tower. It was a very peculiar structure. The stones were purple... |

"I...... Actually am not surprised by this." Lone laughed a bit and surveyed the house as a structure, more out of habit than anything else. It was a funny surprise to see that it was a purple house, but at the same time not unexpected. |

They were looking at Kanti expectantly. Oh elvish shit, he zoned out. He looks at the watch, or right he doesn't have that. Umm, damn how long was he out, felt like ages. Crap, he should break the ice and say something. "N...nice house!" Genius, archer, genius. |

Alora stopped at the gate, and then spun around. She wrinkled her nose and smiled at their reactions, obviously amused. "Alright, you two stay right here. I'll be back in 2 shakes of a lambs tail." She then clapped her hands and spoke a command word. The gates opened and she walked through. The town behind them hustled and bustled, and they might have had a boring time if Kanti wasn't accidently bumped by a very familiar yet very large humanoid. It was a Dragonborn, with Red scales and Golden eyes, wearing plate armor. He stood 7 feet in height and muscled. He wore an Axe strapped to his back and two long swords at his sides that looked puny in comparison. "My apologies." he rumbled, not even looking at Kanti. It was Kane, he noticed. |

Lone stood there pretty awkwardly being that he had no idea what was going on and whistled a nervous tune. |
