There's a pond in every direction. Below you is a giant lily pad roughly a football field in radius. On this lily pad about 30 feet away is a scrawny looking kid. He coughs into his hand. "I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience, but I have Consumption." Consumption? Well it did make sense. He did appear abnormally pretty, but what if you caught his disease? Clearly he can no longer exist in this world. Enemy: Wally Health: 90/90 Energy: 110/110 Let's Rock! |

I contemplate whether I have been shrunk down to a pond size or whether I have been placed in a world of giants for a moment. Deciding that in the end it matter very little I face up to the opponent that I can only assume I have a good reason to beat until he stops moving (because otherwise that would make me the bad guy for killing this possibly terminally ill guy and I don't like being the bad guy.) "Before I come near you, is it contagious? I would prefer not to be infected with some nasty disease that will come back to bite me later." |

"I'm not quite sure about contagious sir, but everyone around me has died recently." He smiles kindly as he did so. Sick or not, this kid was wrong in the head. Frog/David/Whatever didn't have much time to contemplate though, because Wally was in the middle of delivering an uppercut to the gut. Think fast. As wally approached for his swing I quickly consider the implications of his actions. He is coming in directly for an initial assault, that means is either underestimating me or isn't a strategist. Perhaps a front, but his sickly demeanour says his constitution is likely to be low. Finally he has offered respect to his opponent, that says he will likely fight honourably. All this ran though my head in the moment he took his step forward to attack and reflex took over. Not a terribly well trained fight I reacted purely on instinct rather than any martial art ideal. Luckily for what I lack in training I do still possess great reflexes. In an attempt to use said reflexes I crouch to the side in a lunging position and attempt to push wally over my outstretched leg to trip him using his own momentum against him. |

What David didn't anticipate was that boxers don't really move very far when they punched. The dodge was successful, if a bit energy consuming, but the push was a failure. At least Wally whiffed the punch. The ill child slides to the same side as the dodge before and throws an anticipatory right hook to the temple. I step back to avoid the punch moving closer to the edge of the lilly pad. My new strategy is to try and utilize my environment. If wally approaches I will try to fling him behind me and off the edge of the lilypad and into the water. |

Of course enacting any kind of strategy was hard when the guy was shadowing you. This time, Wally throws a quick one-two combo at Frog's face, while also aiming a low kick at Frog's shin. You: Health: 100/100 Energy: 85/100 Wally Health: 90/90 Energy: 90/110 |

Shadowing is exactly what I need to enact such a strategy though. The first of the punch combo isn't dodged very well but in an attempt to throw him i n the water I grab his arm in the second punch and try to swing him behind me and into the water. The kick would only help because of the lost balance due to it. |

Have you ever tried grabbing the arm of somebody mid punch? Doesn't end well, especially when they're trained. Know why? Because you can only rely on your arm strength. The other guy has the entire weight of his body behind that punch. And they twist their arm. Shaky grip plus inferior power equals punch square on the nose. On the plus side, if David could recover fast enough, he may still be able to possibly knock Wally in the water. Maybe. You: Health: 80/100 Energy: 80/100 Wally Health: 90/90 Energy: 73/110 |

After being hit square in the face this time I felt the pain of the hit. It wasn't substantial, after all I've been hit in the head enough times before to be able to ignore a few blows but this guy was still shaping up to be a real inconvenience. Deciding that using his his movements against him clearly is not a viable option I instead take on the offensive grabbing his torso and going for a swift knee in the gut.

Ignore my last post, I've decided to move along with what you wanted in the first place. Wally falls straight into the water with a sizable splash. After a couple of seconds his head pops out, eyes wide with fear. "You have no idea of what you've just done..." Then he disappears beneath the surface, no air bubbles break the surface. Victory? Duck and Weave: -A state of mind where one focuses solely on dodging basic human attacks, doing so with great accuracy and efficiency, at the cost of limited attacking abilities Trip: A simple grappling technique where the user counters a simple punch or kick by turning their momentum against them, causing the foe to fall on the ground. Highly experienced fighters can work around this or even turn it against the user. |

Current Character Sheet Round 2David was just kinda stuck there on that lily pad for a couple minutes. Suddenly, it became apparent what had been awakened by Wally's fall into the water. Out from the lake jumped a massive catfish easily the size of three people. It soared high into the air before falling towards David. It had its mouth open wide, ready to swallow the survivor whole. "No no no no no nooooo!" David yelled as he dived and rolled to the side to try and avoid the catfish. He hadn't even considered the possibility of a giant fish popping up as a result of drowning the sick guy. |

Most people don't. But it hindsight, creating a stir in the water while you're on top of a giant lake will probably get results like that. The fish lands on the lily pad and begins flopping about, shaking the entire lily pad. It was mostly helpless now, but soon the fish would return to the water, ready to wreak havoc again. Sad as it was to admit, David would be outclassed in strength by this gigantic fish. Still, David always believed that a fight was won or lost before the firs blow was dealt. He needed to understand his opponent to defeat them. His knowledge of catfish was relatively minimal considering how random it is, but what he did know was that the whiskers acted as a sense of sonar underwater, the head was usually heavily armoured compared to most fish and the bodies tended not scaled. To win this he would need to ensure that he stayed out of the water and aimed for a weak spot in the few moments he had like this. For a moment he considered the place where a fish would be susceptible and came up with two targets, the fins and the gills. Any substantial damage to the fins would remove the potential for mobility but would be unlikely to finish it off, the gills on the other hand would make the fish drown. He had his target. David Ran over to the flopping around fish and jumped at it to tr and get a grip on the flapping gills. If he was able to pull them back and cause a tear then it would likely mean victory. |
