Tough choice. He knew that he wanted to go help Shana but he had drawn a great deal of attention now. If he went over there, odds were he would only endager her further. Drawing attention as it was would help her out enough, David decided to hold his position and drew his second blade back out. |

I'm pretty sure you'd be better off trying not to dual wield full sized sword, but from the mass of men came a man mounted on a horse. He rode towards David trying to skewer him with a sleek metal spear. |

David thought about something he had read by Sun Tsu about strategies against mounted units all the way back in highschool and decided to use that. In order ot face the horseman he stood his ground until it grew close. When it was close enough he switched sides so he was on the far side from his spear so that he couldn't swap sides with the spear and slashed at the horses legs with his swords. |

The man leaped off the horse and landed in a three point stance on the ground. He was clad in light green heavy armor that kept pretty much everything concealed. He spins the spear in a single hand and waves for David to attack. |

"I have to admit, I am impressed." David called out to him over the roar of battle. He considered the enemy that had come before him. The move he had just pulled said that he was highly skilled and dextrous even in the armour. Even so, it would likely slow him down. His spear gave him long reach, but was only effective at medium range. He decided to use his high speed to try and bypass the armoured man and hit him from behind. Odds are the shock of such a sudden burst of high speed would take him offguard enough to not let him be able to react. |

The armored foe indeed could not react to such speeds, but unfortunately, the sword bounced off the armor. That was made of good stuff. The man turns around with a heavy hand wide-swinging backhand. You Health: 201/205 Energy: 278/380 |

New plan then. a spinning backhand was unlikely to have much force so david decided to drop his left sword and try and catch the arm in its swing. If that worked then he would follow up by trying to break it. The armour was unlikely to hold with the strength of his hand and even if it did, the force should still do enough damage to incapacitate him. |

The backhand had a surprising amount of weight behind it, if a normal man had been hit with that then he'd probably be dead. However, David was no average man, but man did the catch hurt like a B, even with the cyborg hand absorbing most of the force. Things weren't quite so fortunate in the crushing department. There was a very significant difference between a bit of sand stone and properly worked metal. The armor did not budge whatsoever. The armored man tries pulling his arm away, and when finding that impossible, goes to smack David's head with the lance. You Health: 194/205 Energy: 272/380 OOC

Spoiler: click to toggle That armour was strong, clearly attempting to just bend the armour wouldn't work. Time to try force of impact. He jumped backwards to try and avoid the swing of the lance and then charge quickly to punch the man's head with his metallic hand. |

He looked for the sword he had dropped and took the moment while he wasn't being attacked to try and catch his breath a little. |

Right as David picked up the sword, he felt something. It was the sense that somebody was following him. Trying to catch him unawares. You Health: 189/205 Energy: 270/380 |

He hated the feeling. The paranoid sensation of being followed was only intensified by the battle raging around. He turned and raised the two swords ready to block whatever his paranoid brain was telling him was back there. |

David turned around to, surprisingly enough, find nobody actively attacking him. Yet. You Health: 189/205 Energy: 273/380 |

His nerves were high as it was but having his instincts fool him would only make him feel worse. He looked around carefullyfor whatever made that feeling of unease. |
