The God of Conquest
|
This time David was prepared for the fact that a shockwave was coming. He jumped backwards so that he wouldn't be hit by it when it landed and waited a for the right timing. When he judged ot to be correct he jumped up and tried to slash dowards at the rider once the horse landed. Theoretically he would pass over the shockwave and score a hit in the moment when it was stunned form landing. |

David scores the hit, but the sword tore through fabric before hitting something metal on the rider. The horse was not impressed. It begins stomping rapidly with all its feet, causing pillars of green fire to shoot up randomly across the battlefield. "this isn't even fair..." David chose to just run.dodging the individual pillars at a close range consiering their random trajectory. so better to flee instead. He tried to get to the other side of the ring of flames that bound them together to get out of their range, or at least be far enough away that he could weave in and out between them. David found it not too difficult to avoid each pillar as long as he paid attention to the ground. Pillars about to erupt glowed for a half second before bursting. After about half a minute, the horse stopped moving, standing in place, panting. The rider just cup their chin and leaned forward, watching David in interest. David continued to put energy into the plast, his plan was to knock the rider off and if possible, even send him straight through the flames on the outside barrier. In theory it should be an instant kill. For that he needed full power though, the longer the horse and rider weren't attacking him the better for that. |

The laser had reached max capacity awhile back. It was more like the Mega Buster than a kamehameha, really. The rider preps for a powerful impact. The horse was too tired to do anything more. The fire covering the equine begins to fade, but the barrier remains up for the time being because it really did not like David. He was so difficult. Shows up obviously looking for a fight and then does nothing. Bah humbug. You Health: 193/225 Energy: 311/430 Knight Rider Health: 347/360 Energy: 260/260 |

The horse had finally stopped its area of effect attacks, now it was time to act. David charged in close and leaped at the rider at full speed. His aim was to hit him in the chest with the palm of his hand and release the blast at full power from point blank range. |

David released a blast twice as powerful as usual at the Rider, who flies off the horse, and slams into the weakening wall of the barrier. The beam had burned off most of the clothing from the rider's midesection, revealing a chainmail shirt(that's what kept the sword from connecting with flesh) and that the rider was indeed a woman. She wasn't particularly buxom or anything, but it was obvious. The horse nearly goes berserk, but a grunt from the rider stopped it. The horse lays down, bringing down the barrier. The rider gets off the ground and dusts herself off. You Health: 193/225 Energy: 308/430 Knight Rider Health: 282/360 Energy: 256/260 |

That was pretty good, I'll have to try using it at full power more often. Then again, it seems as though it couldn't even pierce chainmail so it might not be as useful as I would like. David slowly backed away from the horse making sure to keep both it and the rider in view. This was a interesting double edged sword he had now. The rider was down but he might end up forced to fight two at once depending on how it could go. |

The rider crosses her arms and begins circling him slowly, staring. It was like on top of trying to predict his next move, she was also trying to read his reactions. The rider walked at a slow pace, but the body language easily conveyed a sense of tension. The preparation to move at any time. The horse fidgeted, but made no overtly aggressive move. It obviously didn't like this situation any more than David did. You Health: 193/225 Energy: 310/430 Knight Rider Health: 282/360 Energy: 255/260 |

David actually found himself beginning to smile. While he found the stories that she had been killing people terrible, he was actually beginning to like this girl. The slow calculated movements, the way she wasn't giving anything away, she was a thinker like himself. Now it made sense why she had waited so long to officially reveal herself to him. She was studying him making sure she could win if they came to blows. That meant that right now she had at least some trick up her sleeve to beat him with. David was never big on making the first move and circled with her slowly drawing in closer with his blade at the ready to block a sudden attack. He could tell that both of them were analysing one another, looking for that weakness or trying to predict the source of the next attack. This was going to be good. |

Right as David neared striking range, the Rider slowly reaches up towards her head, and then in an instant threw the hat at David, utilizing it as a brief distraction to rush David from the(his) left side much faster than any normal human could possibly manage. David was expecting an attack and ducked the thrown hat suspecting it was a Kung Lao or Oddjob thing. He wasn't expecting her to come up to him so suddenly and with such speed and stumbled backwards swiping the sword diagonally upwards across his body while h tried to regain his balance and composure. shes fast, can't rely on superior ability alone then. This is seeming like the fight I searched for more and more every minute. |

Just as planned. The rider grabs the sword(gauntlety hands) and twists it, trying to get it out of David's grip. If she successfully pulled it off, she would back up and adjust the weapon to where she could actually use it. You Health: 193/225 Energy: 314/430 Knight Rider Health: 277/360 Energy: 239/260 |

The unexpected movement caught David off guard while he was trying to regain his balance and he was forced to drop the blade. He backed up once again. This was exactly why he always kept two of them. He drew it and prepared himself to play sword with her. Once more, she had impressed him. |
