"I wasn't talking about a name though."
David equally straightened up. He was a little more flatfooted and less prepared to strike. Hopefully appearing a little more neutral.
"I have noticed you watching me since I got here. Now you show up out of nowhere and challenge me to a battle like this. So my question is who are you and what do you want?"

"The people of the village know me as the Black Knight. I didn't actually do any of the challengin'. That was all you and Nightmare. Nightmare's the horse if you haven't caught on to that. And I don't want anything in paticular. It's about what the Assassins want."

"In that case, do the assassin's want me dead?"
David's suspicions were dead on. He silently congratulated himself.

"Bollocks if I know. I don't work for 'em." Suspicions dashed.

David blinked. That was unexpected...
"Okay. Lets back up for a second, how are you connected to them then?"

"I've been keeping tabs on 'em for awhile. You'd be surprised where a concealed face and well placed lie will get you. But that's mostly because the majority of Roan are idiots."

Again David couldn't help but smile. He loved this chick.
"You know what. Considering I came up here thinking you were a serial killer I like you. Tell me then, are you looking to take down the assassins then or is there something else you want?"

"Not really. I'm fine just riding on Nightmare most days. She's a bit fiery, but she's a good horse. And I want to keep things at a point where I can do that. Can't take down that festering pit by myself. Well... at least not without Nightmare." The horse snorts out jets of green fire while giving a death glare obviously directed at David.

"I'm sure she is lovely once you get to know her."
David responded while awkwardly looking over at the horse.
"Either way. You clearly aren't my enemy and I don't like needless battles."

"So shouldn't you tell your girl and Gabriel to come out now that it's safe?" She crosses her arms, walking back over to the horse, who neighs angrily, which leads into an argument of hushed whispers and nonverbal communication between equine and human.

"If we get a chance I'd like to talk to you again alright. You seem to be the first person I have met here that I can truly relate too."
She was his equal on the battlefield and clearly had a similar thought pattern. Compared to the others that he had met in roan, only Gabriel seemed worth of respect for intelligence. He wasn't keen on letting this meeting be the last.

"I won't be hard to find." The Black Knight gets on Nightmare, who's mane and tail were blazing once again, and rides off. Well, that was kind of an understatement. She started riding before the horse rocketing off in a blaze of green fire and burning hoofprints left behind.

"Sounds good."
He said it as much to himself as to her as she rode off. When she was gone he retrieved his sword off the ground and set off back down towards the beach. When he got over the hill he Called out to Shana and Gabriel.
