David reached Barbara's house soon enough and without any carpentry or trouble. She wasn't outside though. |

He just did the logical thing and knocked on the door calling out that there was a package before leaving it on her doorstep. It was what delivery people had always done in his hometown so it shouldn't be a problem here. |

Right as he knocked, a kid opens the door. He was roughly eight years old with messy brown hair and clothes to match. This was Barbara's son Daniel. "Whatcha got?" |

"Well, I don't check the packages, I just hand them off." David said as he reached down to offer it to the kid. He decided it best to simply ignore the child's less than stellar greeting. He had become used to the townsfolk being a little... different in their communication than he was accustomed too. |

"Whatever then." The kid takes the package and closes the door digging out earwax with his pinky. What a precocious child. The next letter only had "BOB" scrawled on the front. David would run into these every now and then. They were usually letters from family that lived way out in the country or sent by somebody that was barely literate. In any case David didn't know any Bobs, but there was a fisherman named Robert that lived nearby. |

David looked at the letter dryly, evidently displeased with it. Why couldn't this place just institute an address system. It would make his job an awful lot easier but he hadn't gotten much of a response when he brought it up before. Just looking at this place and its people almost every day he was reminded of the third book in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. All the knowledge of living in the 21st century amounted to very little since he didn't actually understand any of the technology which he had always relied upon. "I may as well be the sandwich maker after all..." he sighed to himself as he went to look for the Fisherman. |

Robert was passed out drunk in front of his house. Covered in drool and (presumably)dirt, he actually looked kind of peaceful. Like a disgusting baby with a beard. A beard that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The lingering smell of fish didn't help either. |

In truth David didn't mind the smell. Fish wasn't terribly offensive to his palate. Passed out, dirty drunk guy was. For a moment david tossed up whether it was worth waking him or not but in the end decided that just putting the parcel on his chest was good enough. He really wasn't bothered on dealing with the man right now. |

The drunken man mumbles something as David leaves. He couldn't exactly make it out, but it sounded something like,"Fuck you Supes, I'm the goddamn Batman..." The next letter had no real address, simply telling David to meet in the backroom of the Tailor's store with "CHINCHILLA" scrawled beneath the instructions. |

David was a little way down the road before he registered what the man had said. Did he seriously just make a reference to batman and superman? That made no sense whatsoever... Clearly David had misheard him, it was the only logical explanation. That said, David decided to bring it up the next time he saw the guy. If he had said that it may be worth looking into. Especially because it was potentially the first link to his homeworld that he had found since this whole ordeal had started. Regardless of the drunken fisherman talking about comic book heroes David made his way to the market place to look for the shop he was supposed to make a shady drop off in the back of. |

David enters the clothing store to find Gustav standing at the counter scratching his chin. "What can I do for you, David?" he asks, still scratching. |

"Lovely to see you Gustav" David responded with a slight nod. "I'm afraid I am not so much a customer today as I am working. I had a rather unique request about the recipient of this package." He handed Gustav the note on the package to show him that he was supposed to meet in the back of the store. This was a first for David. |

Gustav takes the note and reads it, slowly working out each and every word before nodding. "You may come into the backroom then. But you'll have to jump over the counter to get there." The tailor turns around and pulls out a key, fiddling with the door behind him for a few seconds before getting the thing unlocked. |

David placed a hand on the counter and dextrously vaulted over it. "Thanks for this. Who knows what is calling for something like this. As far as I know all the deliveries are anonymous anyway." |
