Gabriel collects the cups and turns away to wash them. However, he stops after a couple steps and looks backwards at David and Shana.

"Don't die out there. It'd be a shame if we were overrun by god know what because you did something stupid, hmm?"

"We'll do our best to avoid dying for your sake then." David replied with a chuckle as he stood up. "I think it is about time that we get moving though, I still need to track down Davina and get her read on this situation. I don't think I could have survived the last battle without her help."

He thanked Gabriel once more before leaving and heading over to the tailor. The man was the only connection to Davina that he had found. If anyone knew how to locate her it would be him.

The tailor wasn't at the front desk when David and Shana entered the store. In fact, he wasn't anywhere to be seen in the front section of the building.

David checked the front of the stored carefully to make sure he was alone in there and that nobody was watching before he knocked on the secret door and called out.

"What?" David hears from behind. The tailor wasn't actually in the secret room at all. He had just been in the back of the store, examining some of his fabrics. He didn't look too thrilled about David just waltzing through his store.

"Aha, just th eman I was looking for... well sort of..." David spoke up before then trailing off a little when he saw the man come out. Ï need to get in touch with Davina soon and I you are the only link I have to do so." Perhaps being so to the point was not polite, but he valued efficiency over politeness. Besides, this world was arguably in danger, it was best to get going as soon as possible.

"You could have just called in the front of the store, but Davina, she's a wild one. You don't find her, she finds you. Wish I could help, but I can't."

"I see. Well, couldn't hurt to ask, I suppose I just need to hope I run into her soon. Thanks anyway, and since there is a good chance I'll leave town soon, thanks for helping me out whenever I came here."
He flashed a quick wave as he left. David had never really been much for sentimentality, especially with goodbyes.

He walked around town for a bit looking for the dark haired girl, stopping by the wreckage of the cult building, the town square and even venturing over to the government building on the other side of town in the hope he could run into Davina.

David didn't see how Gustav decided to regard him as he left, but it wasn't of consequence. As he looked around town, and he found many things. Chaos around the ruins of the cult building and the Town Hall, a more empty than usual Town Square, mourning townsfolk, but Davina was not one of them. As he walked around, Shana followed, and seemed to become vexed as they traveled.

"I'm sorry to put things on hold for this." David noted to her after noticing the look on her face. "But there is a pretty good change I would have died if she hadn't been with me. I would rather not take any chances if we are going to have to fight more of those... outsiders."
He wasn't sure what to call them. He had been using eldritch, but the one he fought wasn't really beyond comprehension, just otherworldy. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be an obvious way to contact Davina and he never learned where nightmare was stabled.

"Where did you find her before? She's not in town." Shana replies, her arms crossed tightly.

"I guess I just sort of... ran into her. But you are right, she might be outside the city, we should get some supplies and take a look outside the wall. If we still can't find her, then perhaps she simply moved on."
He headed over to the market to see about getting the supplies they would need if they were going to be traveling a long distance. Theoretically, they would need long life food, water bottles, some sleeping stuff, rope, something to start fires, and so.. much... more. This was going to be an irritatingly difficult trip.

So do you want to fast forward through this or what? said Morgan Freeman in David's head. He had been narrating this whole time, and he was getting a bit tired of reading through menial things. His voice needed a rest.
