Empty classroom. Show up and shizz. Yeah. Class starts at 10pm 7/4/13, my time. The weather outside was much like yesterday, but with a key difference. It was as if the thermostat had been cranked up a few degrees and some steam was added, making even the normally cool dawn feel vaguely uncomfortable. This was a bad omen for things to come. Hopefully the air conditioning would be able to hold out. Edited by Dragoknighte, Jul 3 2013, 02:52 AM.

Rena walks in feeling really uncomfortable from that walk. She sighs as she puts her bag down. Yesterday was the easy day where they were mostly introduced and things like that. This will probably be the start of actual work. |

Mitsunari walked in, a very slight smile on his face. It had taken a far amount of planning, but it seemed like he had managed to get his morning schedule perfect, arriving at nearly the exact moment that he had planned. Once again he moved to his center seat, briefly taking note of Rena before sitting down. "Good morning Rena-san." |

Rena was digging through her bag for supplies when the voice catches her attention. "Oh, hello~Mōri-Kun. Thanks, I hope you are having a good morning too." She always seems to feel better when she gets to school. Maybe she's not a morning person or something, but so far she's been feeling down on the way here. Oh well, it's just that weirdly warm morning that's..."Uh oh" She did not bring an umbrella. Edited by Rasen, Jul 3 2013, 07:34 AM.

The students filed in and class began a bit later than expected. Yamamoto shuffled into the classroom and frumpily began class. Anybody showing up now would be late. |

Mamoru sprinted through the hallways, clutching the strap of his bag for dear life. He knew there was no way he would make it to class on time, despite his perchance for always arriving early - there was always enough to time to plan and set a prank that way. He couldn't quite explain why or even how he'd managed to sleep past his alarm, not to mention that his mother 'couldn't bear to disturb him' even though she must have been aware of how imperative it was that her son arrive at school on time. Nonetheless, there was nothing he could do about it now. Luckily the door to the classroom appeared before him as if out of nowhere, and he slid it open and quickly dashed inside, momentarily feeling something akin to victory before his breath got away from him and he bent over, panting slightly as he tried to regulate his breathing. "Sorry...I'm late...sensei." Mamoru managed to say between breaths, looking up at Yamamoto sensei with an apologetic look on his young face. |

Yamamoto remains completely still for several seconds, which suddenly seemed to stretch on into what felt like hours. Slowly, very slowly, the old man straightens his back, an ominous presence filling the whole room as he turns towards Mamoru. There was a new look in his eyes, a hard edge that could cut through steel with ease. He approaches the young man was a deliberate gait that was quite different before. What had been the shuffle of a feeble man now became the movements of a predator stalking its prey. Soon Yamamoto stood before his student, staring directly into the eyes. Despite standing several inches shorter than his pupil, it was as if Mamoru was an ant standing before a dinosaur. "Hisakawa-san," the old man begins in a quiet voice, much deeper than was the usual,"I expect punctuality out of my students, and you are no exception. I will let this tardy slide, but again and you will have to face the consequences. This serves as a warning for this entire class. You may return to your seat, Hisakawa-san." And with that the teacher seemed to revert back to his previous state and acted like nothing had happened. |

Mamoru couldn't help but gulp as he looked down at his teacher with widened eyes. He couldn't shake this feeling of unease, or even begin to comprehend what had caused it. All he did know that from now on, he had to be much more careful around Yamamoto-sensei. It seemed there was a lot there, deep inside the older man that wasn't easily seen at first glance. "Yes, and sorry again, Yamamoto-sensei." he said breathlessly, finally feeling able to blink before he strode over to his seat and quickly sat upon the chair. Looking around the room, he noticed that there were quite a few students missing; including Rei. Mamoru couldn't help but hope with all his might that she showed up soon, and that she would be spared from Yamamoto-sensei's wrath. If it was enough to unnerve him, Kami knew what it would be like for her to be under that chilling stare. |

Immediately after Mamoru, Rei burst in, her face flushed. "I'm so sorry, Sensei," she said, bowing her head in shame. "I got lost..." She bowed in apology and prepared to get reamed out. |

Rena sat by the window and stared outside, the canon stated she must. She started to second guess her first thought and couldn't tell if it would be really hot or if it would rain. However, the question of whether the weather was going to rain or the sun would reign was interrupted by the scene that happened before her. Wow, that was almost her yesterday. Sucks to be him....and it reaaaaaally sucks to be Rei. Rena decides it's best not to get on the teacher's bad side, but at least the teacher seems sane. Never know in this area; she's heard rumors about teachers using cruel and unusual punishments. Edited by Rasen, Jul 5 2013, 06:55 PM.

(Sorry, I'd really like to type out what happened due to lateness, but I'm feeling a bit too worn down/creatively sterile to do so and I don't feel like holding back the rest of the RP up just for that. Yamamoto went Srs Mode again but also let off Rei with a warning because she wasn't there for Mamoru's speech and advised she use a map if she's having a hard time finding her way to class) The bell rings, signifying the end of homeroom. Yamamoto harumphs, staring forward as the class leaves, but it felt like his stare was directed at both Mamoru and Rei. However, the next class would definitely be better. |
