So... I found them a lot faster than I had hoped. Go figure. Here you are and I shall edit in a list of all interested players in a couple days and then roll for those who have places.
This first part is for everyone, Gracelings and non-Gracelings. The second part is obviously only for you to fill out if you're going to be a Graceling. (Duh.)

Eril Cald Ryda Name: Eril Cald Ryda (Eh-rill called - rye-dah) Alias: Water-boy (Though he hates it) Age: 17 Profession: Guardsman Loyalty: The lord of his province... For now anyway. Goal: To take rule of his own province. Maybe start up a harem along the way. Just generally live it up like the bastards he served most of his life. Physical Description:Eril has a lot of the features to be fairly handsome. His face would be quite visually appealing were it not for his eyes that denote him as a graceling being so unsettling. His right eye an icy blue while his left a fiery red. His brunette hair sweeps behind his head in a bit of a mullet and he has a slightly tiny beard on his chin. Eril isn't physically big. The past two years as a guard have improved his physique considerably, but before that he had never had all that much excercise to bulk up. he is a little shorter than most which takes away any physical imposition he could have. As a guard in the castle of The Lord of his province he tends to wear light armour. Not being physically big he prefers the freedom and range of movement the leather provides compared to tempered metals. Under the tanned leather he tends to prefer a blue tunic shirt and long brown pants fastened with a belt. By his side he keeps a sheath for his shortswords and holds his bow and quiver over his shoulder. His belt and leather armour are specially made to be able to clip on the flasks in a way that is convenient to pick them up. To one unaware of his power it almost looks like he was dressed to make an expedition into a desert and more than one person has thought tha was the case. The amount of water bottles has urged at least one person every week since he formed this outfit to ask if one of the flasks is filled with alchohol and if they can have some. Personality:Eril is generally personable and friendly, if a little ambitious for his own good. He doesn't like the lazy or the entitled because it is so far from his own origins. So long as a person is friendly to him, he will generally be friendly back. Though he is willing to fight to protect himself or others, Eril can be a little timid at times. It is exceedingly rare that he will ever pick a fight or actively seek danger though at times he can be a little sarcastic which encourages the ire of others. Despite his background, Eril is surprisingly quick witted and able to think through problems clearly and quickly. He is skilled in many different fields after training, from picking locks, to cooking, to a moderate grasp of swordplay and bow hunting. Even if he would be considered wise and skillful, he is not typically intelligent. He knows little about the world outside of the places he has been. He has a weakness for women though isn't particularly good at talking to them. One of his desires is to be something of a ladies man but has never really managed to pull it off to any real degree. He is in complete denial about that though. History:Eril was born at pretty much the bottom of the food chain. He was poor and his family had no political power at all. If his eyes hadn't tuned to reveal him as a graceling at the age of 8 there is a good chance he would have never been able to crawl out of that pit. It wasn't long at all before his ability was discovered. The ability to heat or cool water was deemed to be worthy of keeping control over. As such, Eril was put into service. It was nothing worthwhile though, he was to heat up baths for the lord. It was more efficient than using fire after all. He was the bathroom servant for several years until he he was 15 and heard about the deaths of his family. After that his life changed and he isn't entirely sure how it happened. He acted out and managed to accidentally insult the captain of the guard. In response he was challenged to a duel to "teach him a lesson about his status in life". He doesn't remember the duel at all. According to those who did see it though, he used his power to cause terrible burns all over the left side of the captain's body in a surprise attack. Apparently he would have killed the man had he not been pulled off him by three other men but again, he remembers nothing. In recognition of the event though, Eril was given the status of a guardsman. It wasn't exactly a position of power, but compared to his humble beginnings and life as a simple bathroom servant, it was a big step. Seeing how simple it was to jump up the social ladder and how some people had such power to change the fate of others with merely a word, Eril decided that he wanted that. He had spent most of his life at the beck and call of others, now he knew that he wanted a bit of power for himself, the kind that would let him alter people's fate with but a word. It wouldn't be easy by any means, but he was keen to get it. InventoryOn-Person Inventory:- Several flasks filled with water. The nozzle on them is especially wide so he can flick off the top and stick in his thumb to boil the water inside quickly. - Water molds (for quickly freezing into various tools as necessary):

- Can heat or cool a body of liquid.
- Usually only does it with water, but can do other liquids as well, though it takes longer.
- The larger the body, the more gradual its alteration is.
- The entire body is heated or cooled uniformly, in order to do this he mus regulate the temperature to a uniform heat before consciously controlling it.
- Maxes out at the evaporation point and freezing point for a liquid.
- Must be in direct contact with the liquid to activate his ability.
- As a side effect, his body is immune to burns from high heat and hypthermia from exposure to cold.
Eye Colours:Right is an icy blue and left is a fiery red.

Goal: To travel and live an adventure to sing about and to be remembered in history Physical Description: He stands at about five feet and five inches, but is still growing up his thin and scrawny white build. Has dirty blonde hair that stick out in points from under his green cap that droops down about halfway down his back. He wears a short sleeved tunic, varying in colors from blue, red, green, black, white, and grey with corresponding colored shorts and brown boots. His wardrobe never seems to change and he has a bright green eye and a dissolving grey one. Personality: Somewhat of a silent type but will talk to basically anyone that talks to him or might be able to give him information, like to find something he misplaced somewhere. Isn't afraid of almost anything accept being forgotten after dying and likes to think about adventure. He has a light heart and tends to be fine with people as they come, not caring too much about them and whether they are bad or not as long as he can deal with them. History:He was born in a small town and given to the local orphanage where he lived his meaningless life. During his time their he made a small instrument out of a wooden branch that sounded ok, but wasn't exactly Louie Armstrong and had a habit of going outside into the nearby forest area. Other than that it was the general rough-housing with some of the other children their, starving some days, and getting little to no education at all. Although during his trips out to the forest, he found a shield-like piece of bark that was fairly sturdy, and used a stick as a sword. After showing a few of the other kids, they would sneak out and play with sticks they found as swords. Although when he turned seven years old, his eyes changed from a sky blue to one deep forest emerald green, and the other a dissolving grey. It was then that he was tested and found that he was not affected by fire, couldn't be burned, and seemed to be a personal warmth device. As such, he was used as a worker to put coals into the fire to heat up water around the home. While he enjoyed the fire, he wanted adventure and as such caused him to get into trouble when he was outside on the training field and got caught practicing by a few guards. As a joke one of the guards fought against him and they soon found that he was at least proficient in sword fighting with a single sword and shield. As such, he was soon moved from the coals and flames to be trained as a guard like many others, but was still occasionally assigned to his old work since he was very well suited for it. Grace Ability: Flame affinity - Is not harmed by flames - Flames don't affect any of his senses - Temperature changes so that he is at a comfortable temperature in the flames, but not dead. - Has a slight inclination to move towards fire. - Can't be burned - As a result, he can hold extremely hot things. Eye Colours: Left eye is a forest emerald green, right is a grey that starts out dark near the iris, but gets lighter as if fading into the white eye portion.

Made some changes, probably done now Character BasicsName: Gasper Locke Alias: none Age:34 Profession: Inquisitor Loyalty: Himself and his sense of reason Goal: Create a better position in society for Gracelings Physical Description: Gasper is a bit on the tall side, but not overly so and has a thin build. His dust-brown hair is kept swept back reaching the upper neck, with early signs of graying which make him seem older than he actually is. Being a graced, he carries the tell-tale signed of different colored iris's. His left iris is a steely gray color while his right is a murky black only slightly distinguishable from his pupil. Tends to wear a black overcoat with white underneath, black pants, and black boots. Personality:Since Gasper's grace manifested he has suffered the odd looks of those around him, unable to ignore them thanks to the nature of his grace. Even those who are comfortable with the graced or are graced themselves can be off-put by his oft-penetrating gaze. Being able to see every nasty look, every dishonesty, and the looks of sheer fear he gets has turned Gasper into a cynical man. Though capable of acting in a diplomatic manner, Gasper doesn't like many people. He can't stand those who are so often filled with hate and fear, or those who constantly lie through their teeth. He does tend to get along better with fellow Grace, if only because there tends to be less fear from them. In truth, the people Gasper likes most are those rare individuals who are filled with sincerity in everything they do, but don't necessarily expect him to admit such a thing to anyone. History:
- Born into a farming family
- Grace appeared at age 6 and his family, filled with what Gasper would later identify as fear, immediately sent him off to the castle
- As his grace developed he became socially isolated from most other people
- Became an inquisitor, using his grace to assist in questioning those accused of serious crimes
- His right leg was injured while interrogating a suspected criminal who panicked when he saw he was to be interrogated by a Graceling and attacked Gasper. Gasper has since walked with a very slight limp.

Every glance of the eye, every twitch of the face, the tensing of muscles; all are seen by Gapser. Whether it be a physical tick, the changing of expressions, or the tightening of one's hand on the hilt of their sword; Gasper can't help but notice.
- Capable of reading emotions, regardless of how hard the other person tries to hide them
- Can identify lies through physical ticks
- Has some ability to predict others actions through their body language, making him surprisingly capable of holding his own in combat despite a not-so-stellar physical condition though he still has to be able to react in time
- Abilities only works if Gasper can see the other person

Made some edits.
Vincent Grolliet Character BasicsName: Vincent Grolliet Alias:Age: 15 Profession: Guardsman (Archer) Loyalty: The Lord of Smolton where he resides. Goal: Be more than just a puppet in the Lord's game (Main). Become free from a sense of imprisonment (Side). Physical Description: Vincent has a slim-like build, he's thin, yet has some muscle to a degree, the young man's skin is of a white color (Caucasian), and there are no signs of scars on his body. Vincent's eyes are two different colors because he is a graceling, his left eye is a crimson red while his right eye is a burnt orange color. The young man's hair is a spiky dark brown in which hangs downward and covers over his right eye quite a bit, this sometimes can hide the fact that he is a graceling, but most of the time that is not true. The boy's hair is usually out of the way in order to be proficient in the things he is doing, you can't fight that well with hair in your eyes. Vincent wears a scarlet red scarf around his neck, this was from his parents long ago before he was taken away by the king, his parents told him when he received it. "Never forget that we will always love you no matter what you are." He wears this scarf every day and everywhere he goes; it has been tattered slightly due to years of excessive use. He normally wears leather armor which is shrouded by a brown under-tunic, brown pants, and black over-tunic with a hood; black leather vambraces, boots, and belt & sash combo keep the clothing in line. Normally Vincent wears the hood off and his scarf hangs on the outside from the back. Personality: Vincent has always been loyal to his Lord, but to the point. The young boy doesn't know any better to disobey his Lord. He does whatever he is told in fear that he will possibly be killed for not obeying; however, inside beats a rebel trying to get out of the bird cage he is trapped in. Vincent wants to make a life of his own; he does not want to constantly live in fear, but he has no choice. Inside he deeply wishes to be free; while having these rebel thoughts, he does not plan to turn on his king anytime soon. Being a graceling people might shun him, but he has gotten used to the weird looks that are given to him; he tends to ignore them and tries to not let it bother him at all. Vincent however wishes to be normal as well, but he knows that can't be true, he will always have this look to him distinguishing him as a graceling, and he is going to have to accept that. History:
- Was age six when the young boy developed as a grace. Retrieved scarf memento from parents before taken away to the castle. Vincent cherishes this scarf and wears it everywhere he goes.
- While not being able to overpower his opponents and having a smaller body, Vincent learned through some of his training at the palace that in order to fight at close range he would need to learn how to use the enemy's force against them. While training on close combat he would use smaller weapons as strength wasn't his greatest ally, it was his speed and reflexes. One of these thoughts were stirred up during the time around when he was trying to find his grace while fighting a larger gentleman.
- The feeling of being trapped in a birdcage, the wanting to get out, but intimidated by the fear of defying his Lord. The longing to leave the castle. These are thoughts that constantly go through Vincent's mind. Even if he were to leave the palace these mental chains would stay.
- Vincent would occasionally practice with a bow, once again the thought of strength came to mind. Staying away from close combat would be for the best as it would most likely invoke less injury on the boy. The grace thought about close combat being a last resort, his grace would help him in that situation as well. The reminder of his past when he found his grace's ability came to mind as well, referring back when he was sparring with a larger gentlemen. It wasn't power, it was his speed/reflexes that were his greatest ally, attacking from afar would give him a bigger advantage than fighting close.

The GracedGrace Name: Rapid Reaction Grace Ability: Vincent has been graced with quick reflexes giving the young boy faster movements in his body, this essentially allows him to react to situations much quicker than the average individual. For instance can catch an arrow with his hand, but has to see it coming. Vincent can shoot arrows quickly in a rapid motion. The restriction to this is he isn't invincible, he can't counter people who out strength him well (close combat), and because he is young he is still weak in the strength department. Eye Colours: Right- Burnt Orange | Left- Crimson Red Restrictions- You do not have full control on your reflexes and as such you cannot catch arrows with your bare hands without damage to yourself. However, you could move out of the way of the arrows in time or block it with a shield.
- You can only shoot 3 arrows per post at the moment, with time and practice you can shoot more per post. This has no affect on your aim however and you still need to take this into consideration. Although, your eyesight allows you to notice twice as much, twice as fast due to your reactions.
- Your strength is not improved due to your reflexes.

Resolved Swinborne Character Basics
Name: Resolved Christopher Swinborne Alias: Resolved Age: 27 Profession: Blacksmith Loyalty:Those who seek fine material and excellent crafted weapons. Goal: To be a world known Blacksmith and the greatest welder in history.
Physical Description: Resolved is very bulky, a very large man standing at 6'7" weighing 240 pounds of solid muscle. He has short brown hair and dark brown eyes with a scar on his right eye covered by an eye patch. He also has several burns on his body and tattoos that cover up the burns. His face is riddled with small hairs forming a thin layered beard. Normally wears a wife beater and jeans with black gloves and boots.
Personality: Resolved is a very serious man, he speaks true words and hardly ever lies. He is to the point and doesn't beat around the bush (unlike this description of him). He only serves men who seek high quality weaponry and always seeks to improve his craft. He is never impressed by what he has created and does not allow people to praise his work in front of him. He does enjoy the praise of his name though. Resolved enjoys a good story or two, especially ones involving his past crafts. He wishes to create the ultimate weapon for the man who shall rule the world.
History: Resolved is the son of a blacksmith and caregiver. His father Morris was a controversial blacksmith who served anyone who stepped into his shop, be it friend, enemy or those who did not understand how to properly wield his creations. He did not charge a hefty price, even though some of his more quality work could have fetched high prices. Morris cared deeply for his son Resolved though he ignored his other sons and daughter. Resolved was the youngest of thirteen children. He was the only child who showed interest in his fathers work while the others worked misc jobs to provide extra money. After slaving over a furnace for days to create a sword for a nobleman, Morris passed out in his workplace setting his place ablaze. Resolved would attempt to rescue his father from the blaze but found it was too late. Instead Morris would give Resolved the semi completed weapon and tell him that he would have to finish it for him. Resolved suffered burns to his body and right eye scaring it.

Bartolo Naranja Character BasicsName: Bartolo Naranja Alias: The Orange Guy Age: 39 Profession: Whatever he can wherever he is. Loyalty: No one. Goal: Find a place to call home. Physical Description: About 2m tall, big athletic complexion. His body, eyes included are covered by a tightly wrapped, but still easy to move with, orange cloak. Under the cloak he tends to wear white clothing and black pants. The cloak also hides his dark tanned skin as well as his strangely clear blonde hair (which almost looks witheish). He wers some sound mufflers over his ears made with cotton and leather, under the cloak. He has a brown eye and a green eye, although he has them covered most of the time. Personality: He's more of a listener than a talker, although he's not exactly shy either. He likes to sit at the counters of bars and drink, after all, the best information and shows happen there. He's not good with faces, although he can remember any soundperfectly. Even for his age, he feels really embarrased when aproached by womans with high... Ergh... Sex Appeal, to call it someway... History:- Born on a traveling merchant caravan.
- Lived with them traveling from one tow to another until teh age of 16 he was kicked out due his ability becomming bad for the Caravan.
- Kept traveling from town to town, doing whatever jobs he could find, even selling information, to stay alive and reach his goal.
InventoryOn-Person Inventory:- 3 Clay Jugs he uses during his travels to keep himself hydratated. - Coin Pouch. - 5 meters of rope tied around his waist as a belt, kinda. Weapons:- 2 short daggers - 1 arrow - a small, one handed hatchet. The GracedGrace Ability: Whispering Memories: Bartolo is able to remember any sound, voice and noise, just like eidetic memory, just applied to sound. He can also perfectly hear anything at a 30 meters radious of him, almost like a radar. Eye Colours: Left one brown, right one green.

Rial Bailey Name: Rial Bailey (Ree-ahl Bay-lee) Alias: Old Man, Diamond Blade Age: 67 Profession: Retired Hero Loyalty: Loyal only to his preferred bar. Goal: Rial has lived a long full life. He is now content to drink his days away and reminisce about his glory days.
Physical Description: Rial is just at the point where his age is catching up to him. He used to be big strong with bulging muscles and a ruggedly handsome face but that time has passed. Rial's muscle mass is fading and the wrinkles on his face are just beginning to become pronounced enough to be noticeable features. Despite this he is in fantastic shape for his age and his body is quite well toned. He is about 6 foot having lost a full foot of height in the past decade.
His shining black hair has long since turned to a dull grey that is cut short and he has a cleanly cut mustache that makes him look quite distinguished. His blue eyes are still bright and sharp as ever though. He is able to hold a look that is incredibly stern and intimidating when need be.
He likes to wear his old adventuring leather even though it is a little loose fitting now that he is a little smaller. Somehow it manages to still look quite good on him though.
Personality: Rial was a hero, one of the best in fact. It has been most of a decade since he has been adventuring and doing hero work but his persona as a hero remains. He is noble and happy to help others with problems. Rial tends to ramble a bit when he talks about himself. He loves to tell stories about his adventures but many of them are fantastical enough that it is hard to tell whether they are true or not. Rial is usually jovial and kind hearted. He is always in for a joke and a little daring, willing to play high stakes. He was in love once, but has no interest in feeling such a heartbreak again. It is one of the few rules he has for himself now.
History: Rial enjoyed a fun childhood but by 16 decided that the simple town life was just not for him. In the dead of night he left his small village and set off in search of adventure. For 40 years Rial continued his adventuring. In that time he amassed a great fortune, saved many people and obtained many trophies to prove his accomplishments. At the height of his career he was known as one of the best fighters in all the land and known as Diamond Blade solid diamond sword that he wielded.
He was 60 when he finally decided that he had adventured enough and settled down. At first he received many visitors but as the decade moved on people began to forget about the Diamond Blade. His own strength began to fade and in the end he was left with only his stories and his trophies to show all that he had done in his life. He now spends his days drinking and reminiscing at his favourite bar.

Basilius Hemshaw Character BasicsName: Basilius "Basil" Hemshaw Alias: Alchem/Alchemist (Self-Coined Term) Age: 42 Profession: Potions Master (Alchemist) Loyalty: Lord of Smolton Goal: To venture forth into the world and discover the secrets of transmutation (organic and inorganic). Physical Description: Basilius stands at about six-feet tall, bearing an athletic build as a result of his travels in search of herbs and alchemical ingredients. His hair reaches to about mid-back and is a brown-ish black that is noticeably turning slightly gray. He keeps his welcoming-yet-seemingly-worried face clean-shaven at all times - a habit produced from an accident in which he lit his beard on fire and was nearly wounded horrifically. His body is cloaked in a leather piece that is part apron, part robe, part duster and is criss-crossed with belts and pouches of varying shapes and sizes. Below his coat he wears a white cotton shirt, a pair of brown cotton pants, and a pair of well-worn leather boots. Aside from these things, he carries a leather pack filled with measurement instruments, calipers, small knives for precision cutting, and a few neatly-wrapped glass containers for larger quantities of liquid to be stored when he cannot fit them in a test tube. He also carries a short sword mainly as a precaution, even though he has barely used it, as well as a couple of ornate copper scroll cases for important recipes to be stored. The only thing out of the ordinary about Basilius's physical appearance is his eyes. One is a bright, almost luminescent green and the other is a bright blue that seems equally as unnatural. He is a Graceling specially attuned to all things alchemical in nature - something that has earned him his seemingly-permanent place in Smolton. Character Reference Personality: Basilius is generally kind and welcoming yet, at times, he can be overly cautious and abrasive. While acting the part of shopkeeper or dealing with those directly ordered by the Lord of Smolton, Basilius will be more than tactful, often even going above simple niceties and doing himself disservices to make others happy. However, when dealing in private affairs, Basilius knows how to be brusque in his responses and curt in his answers. Only when someone is pressuring him too much or interrupting his work does Basilius become angry and, when that happens, it is like an eruption. Still, these outbursts are extremely few and far between. Basilius, for the most part, attempts to remain as hermetic as possible. When he is not explicitly needed, he will often venture off on his own into the woods in search of ingredients. He is self-sufficient and proud of the work that he does and, what he doesn't fill with his alone time doing his job, he fills with reading tome upon tome on alchemical secrets or magical affairs (not the sexual kind). In other words, Basilius is kind of a loner but is a generally accessible guy. History:- Born on a farm to poor surfs, learns to work land at young age
- Eyes turn at age 6, begins to exhibit strange calculative abilities in portioning during harvest work
- Parents bring the strange child to landlord who notifies Lord of Smolton, guards are sent to pick up Basilius
- Basilius travels to the main city where he is schooled in the castle and taught the ropes of potion making
- Around age 10, Basilius creates his first explosive - his teachings are moved outside of the castle
- His first teacher passes away when he is 15 and is replaced by a more questionable one, Basilius learns poison-making from him
- At age 22, Basilius's second teacher disappears and Basilius is given the role as live-in "Potions Master"
- Having a job in the court, Basilius is taught to defend himself with a short sword and is gifted one as believed is necessary. He can use it, but not very well.
- At age 30, Basilius is allowed to leave and granted a small parcel of land and a house/shop to keep. He moves out of the castle.
- At age 33, Basiulius is working on an experiment and accidentally knocks over a volatile substance, lighting his beard on fire. He vows to remain clean-shaven and heals himself.
- Age 42, he lives alone and runs his shop only when necessary. He spends the rest of his time reading about far-away places and magical transmutations that may or may not be viable.

He often simply uses it for what is necessary for the potion/poison/explosive/acid/whatever he is making. This also extends to harvesting ingredients - he can measure via eye just how much he needs for a certain batch he means to undertake. Viaur Virion Character BasicsName: Viaur Virion Alias: Vivi (vigilante persona), Lucius Valerian (smithy) Age: 39 Profession: Blacksmith Loyalty: Viaur's loyalty is reserved for those who are loyal to him, and no one else. Goal: To be remembered as someone who made a difference. Physical Description: Viaur's face is rather slender and angular. He has straight black hair that falls just a few inches shy of reaching his shoulders. His narrow eyes are a light silver and blackasfuck black. Viaur is quite tall and slender, standing at 6' 3". He generally wears a tight fitting off-white tunic and thick black cotton pants. But when... 'vigilante-ing' he is wrapped in a snow white hooded cloak and his face is covered by a black mask. The mask is graced with an almost comically large smile, a white mustache with upturned ends, and a thin white pointed beard. Personality: Verily, Viaur Virion is a very valorous veteran of the verbose arts. Actually, he just attempts to use large words that he only half knows the meaning of in an attempt to impress. Viaur is initially kind towards all those he meets, though honestly, he's rarely ever outright nasty towards even his worst enemies. Instead, Viaur employs a passive aggressive approach towards people he dislikes that he must interact with. He is mainly out to make a name for his cause by way of vigilantism. By some he is seen as a mysterious yet strange hero, but a hero nonetheless. By others he is seen as nothing more than a wanna-be-noble fool with a delusion of self importance. History:
- Born to a family of three. His father, a well known blacksmith, his mother, a baker, and his 4 year old brother, Viael.
- At the late age of 10, his Grace reared its ugly head. Fearing for their child, Viaur's parents sent both of their children away and were arrested and killed shortly after for hiding their a Graceling.
- Began living in hiding with his brother. Together they opened a smithy, with his brother initially posing as the only owner. After Viaur learned what his Grace was, he always assumed that it greatly assisted in their continued freedom.
- At 20, Viaur first created his Vivi persona. With the combination of his mask and his Grace, he would be able to mingle with the public under the pretense of severe disfigurement. It was at this time that he also created the persona of Lucius Valerian, an apprentice blacksmith to his brother.
- Over the years, their work had become even more well known than their father's. After an attempted robbery however, Viael was left severely injured, and paralysed from the waist down. Almost all of the work was now on Viaur's shoulders alone. Despite this, he still found time and energy to catch the criminal responsible for crippling his brother.
- Just recently, Viaur hired another set of hands at the smithy. He had found a new purpose in life, and he couldn't fulfill it if he had no free time. He would help people at the risk of his own life and freedom. He would attempt to inspire others to do the same. And most of all, he would spread the word of a corrupt and power hungry government from the shadows.

Doug Kaster Character Basics
Name:Doug Kaster Alias: Age: 28 Profession: Thug, Crook, Boxer. Loyalty: Goal:
Physical Description: Doug is a dark red haired man that tends to have a upset look on his face. His body has scars and tattoos of various meaning and importance. Poor mans ink has now worn away over the years, while the scars made by the desperate have stayed. His eyes are a bright green that shine out though his shaggy head hair. His beard is a bit scruffy and unkempt. His body his big and strong. Working in the mines and the docks and the pubs will do that for ya. He is also slightly fat, made on up on a diet of beer and fatty foods. He would be worse off were it not for the hard work he was always doing. He wears nothing fancy when it comes to clothing, simple brown or black slacks, normally coveralls. This black buckled boots, good to keep the rain and cold off ones feet. A nice woolly hat that keeps the head warm. Simple woolen shirts. The common man though and though.
Personality: A man with little to live for, finds something to excite him. He is a peasant and dosent understand the troubles of the first class of the world. He can barely read and write, but has survived on a sharp set of skills, like common sense. He has been cheated enough times to know when someone is pulling the wool over his eyes. He never trusts employers as he feels they will do what they can to take from him, he has good cause to believe this. He hates guards, feeling that they are just crooks with special privileges. He never claims he is anything more than what he is. Yet these guards hide behind honor and some such. He has a soft spot for little kids and animals. He feeds street urchins when he should be feeding himself, he makes sure they dont beat on each other too bad, and he always keeps a close watch on the girls when they get around drunks. He has bloodied his knuckles over plenty of kids that will never remember him. He has a soft spot for the Graced. He used to fear them, but started to see that they lived a worse life than him. Who would wanna be stuck in some stuffy castle?! Taken from there homes?! He tries to help them when he can. Doug asks too many questions, he is inquisitive, and if he had a better up bringing he would have made a good alchemist or philosopher. Why, makes a favorite word of his, and he found it protected him from poorly crafted lies. Yet asking a guard why he should stop has gotten him in trouble more than once. Yet he takes that with a big grin. All in all, he is big, prone to violence and annoying amounts of questions, and disregarding the law for a set of his own morals. All he needs is a step in the right or wrong direction to be something great, feared, or dead.
History: A big family with far to many mouths to feed. The runt always get kicks off the tit. His dad was a red haired drunk who liked to beat on his mom or his sisters, or him. The kind of loving family that made everyone happy. Doug spent more time away from home and with the other skum of the city. He found it fun to steal bread and feed his little sister, or to steal gold and eat for a week. He learned to drink young and take a beating or two. His father continued to hate him, and he continued to hate the drunk. His mom died when he was 10, Doug still thinks it was from the beatings, yet his father was good in with the guard and one dead woman wasnt worth their time. His older brother became a guard, and found good fun in locking up all those he used to run with, Doug included. Yet the time in the pen wasnt long and Doug and the others made sure he was found split like a pig and hung from a inn sign. Blood for blood after all. He never liked the guy anyway. Doug moved out on his own and took his sister with him. She was a tall and pretty thing and he got sick of seeing her with black eyes and a fat lip. His father didnt like it, at all. Yet Doug had shown him that he had grown and his fists were more than ready to fly. He left the house with a few less teeth and his sister in tow. He was never sure if she was grateful for the rescue or not. He felt better about it though. Time continued to pass and Doug saved up as much as he could, his sister worked in a mill and made grain, she too saved up. On the eve of his 20th name day, she said she had to leave. Doug couldn't believe it, but a man had asked for his sisters hand. He was a minor noble, the same one whos father owned the mill. Doug was never so sad or happy. He plans on visiting her some day. She moved off to the capital, and she still writes him. He wished he could write more back. After his sister left, Doug found more dangerous ways to make money. Boxing rings and fights were a favorite of his, he could knock down a man twice his size and weight, he was a natural. It also made him good to be apart of the local thugs who harassed people for protection money. Doug just liked getting into fights when he could. He didnt think he killed many folks, but he never really ever saw them again. Now he is older and done with small town crap, he wants more action, more money. He wants to do something! Though he dosent know what. Now he spends his free time, alone or with a stray dog or cat, with a beer. Sitting on a roof and watching the sky, he knows he could be useful, but he just never got the chance. Yet.
