So, when I was writing "What the Heck? As It Should've Happened," I realized I was missing half the second chapter in this MST. So I decided to rectify it. Here it is! Chapter Two B *The gang storms into the theater.* Mac: Hey, they lied! Voldy, there’s no cake in here! *Voldemort appears on screen* Voldemort: Haha! I can’t believe you fell for that! Oh, Lucius owes me a backrub. Anyway, while there is no cake, there is an assignment for you. *Doors close and lock as the gang groans* It has come to my attention recently that Chapter 2 of What the Heck? was incomplete when you sporked it. Erik: What? Voldemort: So, you will now have to spork the rest. Have fun! Mac: We better get cake after this! *Voldemort turns off his camera as the story appears on screen.* Once again, “What the Heck?” Chapter Two. Later in Rivendell... Jess sighed in satisfaction as she slid into the steaming bath water. Jareth: Oh, I remember this. "Everything okay in there?" Quatre (Jessica): No! I can’t swim! "Better than okay. I haven't had a bath in over five days!" *All hold their noses.* "Gross!" "Tell me about it! This is heavenly!" When the water finally became cold, Jess pulled herself out of the tub reluctantly and put on the tunic and trousers that Arwen had obtained for her. Kate grinned when she saw her sister. "You look like a Shieldmaiden of Gondor. Sai: Oh, ha, ha. "There's no such thing," Jess said matter-of-factly as she brushed out her now extremely long hair. Remus: Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair! "Don't cloud the issue with facts (A/N this is sort of an inside joke with my family). Mac: I’ve heard it before. Sai: Also, illegal author’s note. Here, I'll braid your hair for you." "Thanks. Now I remember why I cut my hair short in the first place." Mac: You know, if they go on the quest, why have such long hair? It’s impractical. Remus: But then we don’t get Boromir’s unnatural obsession with her hair. Mac: True. "Don't be silly! You look beautiful." Jess snorted. "Ha! My hair's as long as Madame Giry's!" All: AHHH! Quatre: Don’t you dare go into the Phantom section too! Erik: PLEASE! "Oh, stop exaggerating! It's not even as long as Arwen's!" "No; it's longer." "Wha-- my gosh! It wasn't that long when you went into the bathroom!" Erik (Elves): We put hair tonic instead of the poison! Dang it! "I rest my case. I just hope it doesn't grow anymore." "Don't worry, I'm sure that Boromir will think you look beautiful." "Shut up," Jess growled as she turned red. "We're just friends." Quatre: Oh right, back to the denial stage. "Famous last words," Kate said with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "There, what do you think?" Jess scrutinized herself in the mirror. "I can't believe that's me." "Come on, I want you to meet the hobbits and Legolas." Jareth (Legolas): Oh no, there’s another one. Sai (Hobbits): RUN AWAY! That Night... Later that evening, Mac: Look! You did a transition. Why do you need that stupid “That Night” thing? all those who would participate in the Council of Elrond were present at a feast. Boromir craned his neck as he searched the crowd for any sign of Jess. Suddenly, he felt cold fingers on his hand and jumped. Erik (Grandpa Simpson): DEATH! His eyes widened when he saw Jessica. Her hair now reached the middle of her back, here brown eyes sparkled with amusement, and she was wearing a lavender gown. "What do you think? I'm not particularly fond of the dress, but..." Jess trailed off and shrugged. "You look wonderful." "Thanks." Jareth: Snooze-fest. The Council of Elrond... Mac: You know, I had given her credit for not rewriting the Council scene. She’s lost it. Erik: I’m crying. "Strangers from distant lands, friends of old." Remus: Distant relatives, the pizza delivery guy… Mac: It’s not delivery. It’s DiGiorno. Jess squirmed slightly in her seat next to Boromir and exchanged bored glances with Kate, who was sitting beside Legolas. "Bring forth the Ring, Frodo." Jess felt Boromir tense beside her as Frodo stepped forward. Worried, she put a restraining hand on his shoulder. "So it is true," he whispered. "The Doom of Man," Jess said, praying that her tone got her point across. "It is a gift!" Apparently not. "A gift to the foes of Mordor. Why not use this Ring?" It's Sauron talking, not him. All: No, it’s him. Mac: He’s just not going to stop working to save his country just because he met you. "Long has my father, the Steward of Gondor, kept the forces of Mordor at bay." Jess fought down a snort. Remus (flipping through Lord of the Rings): No, sweetie, that’s true. Mac: Will you stop quoting the movies? This should be “What the Heck?” Bad parts by Crys Evans, good parts by Fran Walsh. "By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe! Give Gondor the weapon of the enemy. Let us use it against him!" All: Yay! "You cannot wield it! None of us can! The Ring answers to Sauron alone. It has no other master!" Quatre: Who’s talking? Thank you, Aragorn. Quatre: Oh. "And what would a Ranger know of this matter?" Jess jumped up, her eyes flashing dangerously. "Boromir! This is no mere Ranger! He is Aragorn son of Arathorn! You owe him your allegiance!" Mac: Stealing lines from canon characters. Sai: That’s a no-no. Boromir fell back a step in surprise. He had never seen Jessica so angry before. "A--Aragorn? This is Isildur's heir?" "Yeah!" Jess said with sarcasm dripping from her every word, "making him the heir to the throne of Gondor." "Gondor has no king. Gondor--" Mac: Don’t need no stinking King. Remus: What did I tell you about watching AFI? Mac: But I like AFI! "Don't-- even-- finish-- that-- thought! Gondor does need a king. More than you know." Kate shot her sister a warning look as she sat down again. "Aragorn is right; we cannot use it!" Jess only half listened to Gandalf as she gave Boromir an apologetic glance. Sorry, she mouthed. Boromir shook his head. "I needed to hear that." *All groan* Sai: Of course he forgives her. After the Council... "Jessica!" Boromir hurried to catch up with the young woman. "Why did you do that?" "Do what?" It was now after the Council, Erik: Yes, Crys Evans, you already told us that. and Jess' mind was spinning. "Volunteer to join the Fellowship." All: Because she’s a Sue. Had she really done that? She couldn't remember the last part of the Council very well. Mac: Well, someone hit the Elven wine a bit hard. Because I might be able to save you, she thought desperately. "Because I think I was brought here to aid the Fellowship." Erik: No, you were created to get into Boromir’s…*Looks at Mac*…I know, don’t finish that sentence. Mac: Good boy. Boromir stared at her for a long time. She looked beautiful with her flushed cheeks, loose braid, and flashing eyes. "Promise that you will be careful." "If you finish my training with a sword, I'll be able to safely make that promise." Remus: Do I need to hand out the bags? Jareth: No, I think it’s over. Sai: Thank Jonas! A/N Hope ya'll liked it! All: No. Brownie points to whoever can guess where the Legomance comes in! Mac: Don’t care. Erik: Wanna go raid the kitchens for cake? Others: Yeah! *All leave.* |
