Oh, horror! And then some say that Angey hasn't developed as a writer. Well, not much, but still... Your MST of this story is absolute classic! This version of AEL is so bad that it almost begged to be mercilessly riffed. Brilliant job, I must say. By the way, I've heard that there is even earlier version of AEL, with a tiger and a hippogriff. Can it be read anywhere? |

Oh, trust me. She hasn't. I'm MSTing her phic and I have to say that when you look at Chapter 1 and then at Chapter 40, there is a clear degeneration of writing abilities. At least in chapter 1, there is more "description."
Both Ari and Bard (on FFN) had copies but their computers couldn't take the evil anymore so it is lost to the ages. We do believe that she has a copy, she's just not telling us. |

It was, before I realized that I stupidly deleted it when Frodo's Girl sent her negative answer when I asked permission to post it. Fortunately I'll be able to rewrite it, since it's short and I remember most of it, but I decided to post AEL in the meantime. |

Good work, Jules. I always love rereading your comments on this story. Also, I absolutely love that you threw in a 1776 reference in there! |

It a musical about the writing of the Declaration of Independence. Won the 1969 Tony for Best Musical and was turned into a movie in 72, I believe. It's pretty good, especially the books. And if you see it, you'll have "The Lees of Old Virginia" stuck in your head for hours. Also, ever see Boy Meets World? The guy who plays Mr. Feeny plays John Adams. |

Chapter 4 has to be the worst chapter of this AEL version. Ugh. I agree with our heroes, ARROWS to build up SUSPICION?! WHAT THE F*CKING HELL?! Five-year-old Pippin? Ehm, no? Boromir character rape? What the? I could go on and on, but I think you all know what is so horribly wrong with this chapter... Ugh, I hate it... Thank god for the remote control, I couldn't bear reading Rosa sing. Luckily, your riffs made it bearable (if just barely, no offence) Jules. And I do feel sorry for Jules at the end of the chapter. But it's understandable. I know I would have broken down a lot sooner. |

Indeed. Chapter 4 was probably the worst chapter of this version of AEL, considering Phantom's Ange only made it five chapters long before taking it down. However, the next chapter is the Council of Elrond, and we all know what that means. I try to give my MST characters personalities outside the theater. Jules's crush on Boromir may seem Sueish, but at least Boromir is creeped out by it. |
