Waiting For Tomorrow

Most of what I've read of American Girl, I've read in fifth grade, but I remember enough to know that that fic is pretty much innacurate. Funny as usual, MW. I especially laughed at the part about checking out Patrick Henry. |
| See, for us, there is no fight. Which is why winning doesn't enter into it. We go on, no matter what. Our firm has always been here. In one form or another. The Inquisition. The Khmer Rouge. We were there when the very first cave man clubbed his neighbor. See, we're in the hearts and minds of every single living being. And that, friend, is what's making things so difficult for you. See, the world doesn't work in spite of evil, Angel. It works with us. It works because of us. ~Reprise (AtS 2x15) | |

Yes, it is highly inaccurate. I did leave a review for Riley Clearwater, where I told her that while the story is pretty good, as a fanfiction it sucked. I did point out some historical things I felt hard to grasp (pointing out that YES, I did do my own research) but mostly, that since she was writing a FANfiction, the fans want to recognize their favorite characters. As for the checking out Patrick Henry, I know she didn't mean it that way...but I've realized that as a MST-er, you have to take everything with a perverted mindset and the jokes just come. |

*giggle* Good MST! Boy, this History Major I'm working on really makes me cringe when I'm reading this one! Two favourite riffs:
Gotta add that, cos, well NY is the best state! Well, Upstate's better by far...we finally have indoor plumbing! Yay!
I'm suprised the Uni library didn't kick me out. I nearly spat out my Coke all over the screen! :):) |

Although the only knowledge I have of this fandom is from what you've posted around and about, Mac, I could tell this story was bad. And so many innuendos, 'pleasure gardens' that made me double up laughing. Great MST as always. House was back! Always nice to see House MSTing. |

Ari:
Thanks! This was one of my first meetings with a fic that could be good if the author didn't delude herself into thinking she writing a fanfiction. It was also the first time I heard the "it's fanFICTION! You don't have to follow the original source like it's the bible! You can do whatever you want!" Well, no you don't have to follow it like it's the bible, but at least respect it.
Umm, okay. Though Upstate is such a vague description. I live as far south as you can go in New York state. EVERYTHING is upstate to me. Besides, we've had indoor plumbing for years down here. Thanks for the review! I liked that quote too. Siany-T: Well, Felicity is nine years old and the spunky daughter of a Patriot family with a Loyalist best friend. So this flies right there. As for Liberty's Kids, James is a loose cannon Patriot who eagerly finds the story for Benjamin Franklin. |

Indoor plumbing at last? Bet you're relieved! Don't know the universe but this story had me laughing. Pleasure gardens...

I can just picture baby Ari marching out of that womb and attacking the nearest Mary Sue/OOC character. |

Hahahahahaha!!! You bet I would! Pleasure Gardens... never heard of it... Might have to look it up. I was a right royal terror when I was a baby. Barbies? They never had a chance when I got the easy bake oven. Who wants baked barbie head?

*Slowly backs away from Aria* You're starting to worry me, you also said you baked My Little Ponies in that oven too. Although if it's a Sue's head be my guest *backs away further humming 'Be Our Guest'* |

I just generally beheaded my Barbies. I was a pro at putting the heads back on by the time I was seven. So I should be set if I have a girl one day. |

I pulled the legs off mine, then rearranged them so Ken had Barbie's legs. |
