Well you can drink at home from 5, have a drink with a meal at 14 and buy alcohol at 18, I believe.
Merlin: Thank you.
Arthur: For what? For lying to my father to save your worthless hide? If you ever put me in that situation again, Merlin, I will clap you irons myself.

18. So I won't be drinking either. But I'm older than Sian! :P

Sounds like a lot of fun. I wish we could do this now too. :( But if it happens, I'll get the booze--I'm 22. On one condition though, we need something else besides fish and chips. Fish makes me gag.

We could have scones, burgers, Subways. I wish we could do it now also, I'm seriously bored.

I loved the new chapter Mac! Favourite part:

Sai: Oh no…
Doctor: What?
Erik: That sounds like a Mackenzie song cue. *Puts on earmuffs.*
Mac (singing): I feel pretty! Oh so pretty!
Doctor (singing): I feel pretty and witty and GAY!
Mac and Doctor: And I pity any elf who isn’t me today!

I can picture the Doctor singing... I really can....anywho, brill!

Thanks! That was inspired by the fact he sang "I Could've Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady in The Girl in the Fireplace. Thanks!

I loved the Doctor turning up and singing.

Legolas looks the same as the last time she saw him which was five days ago.
Remus: Well, one doesn’t undergo a huge change in less than a week. Except in movies.
Mac: Unless she’s saying he hasn’t changed.
Quatre: Eww.

Favorite bit, made me laugh so much I started getting funny looks. Oh and I liked your comment of 'you're a guy' when he asked why he might have forgotten.

You know, I'm almost sad the story is dead. I'm almost intriuged as to how badly messed up the writer would have done the Legolas refuses to marry Ioreth. However it's probably best for Malfoy Manor as all those tense changes would eventually shake it down.
Merlin: Thank you.
Arthur: For what? For lying to my father to save your worthless hide? If you ever put me in that situation again, Merlin, I will clap you irons myself.

Yes, I checked it out and I do believe caithzadz has updated but I decided not to make it special assignment and move on. So sometime later, there will be another American Girl MST going up and then the Harry Potter one I did.

The grass crunched under Annika’s feet as Leogolas led her blindfolded to the meadows.

“Legolas, I demand you tell me where we are.”

The prince grinned. “No can do mellon-nin. It’s a surprise and you must be surprised.”

“I see. Well, I hope it’s-”
Erik: Not a cliff…Where’d the ground…GOOOO!

Whoever said endings are difficult? That was marvellous, and very satisfying! :)

I'll give the author points for trying to get a beta ... but really: as an honest beta, what could you possibly tell her? Cliched romance, flat characteristion, complete ignorance of Middle Earth - There's nothing here worth salvaging!

Ahhh! Another mini!

Great chapter, I loved the 'why is it always a necklace'. Why is it always a necklace? How about a nice comb? Or a painting? Did elves even celebrate birthdays?

No wonder Lucias was upset in that other story. He has to get the foundations repaired.

Great, now the board has a mini-balrog and a mini-Aragog. <_<

Thanks! I particularly liked that one joke. I told the author that she could do more research but that I felt it would do better if she changed the names and moved it to the fairy-tales section.

I don't know. I know I like to get my share of jewelry, but honestly, I mostly wear my crucifix, either my watch or charm bracelet and my school rings. I'd rather if I got something that meant more and I could use--a CD I've been wanting or a book, etc.

Necklaces are nice on Valentine's day but seriously flowers or something normal ye.

I'll look after Lucias the mini-Aragog, Voldemoet needs a Death Eater to boss around.
