Oh look, the Fellowship have picked up a Stu. How sweet. Let's kill it. Still not sure if all the slashy subtext is intentional, but ... oog. The imagery of a semi-naked Kalan, standing under a waterfall and deftly manipulating his big shiny sword - you have made a spectacular find here, Caranthol! |

Lol! That was an excellent MST, the part about all the elves going to Sam's bed had me in stitches.
I would never think that. *whistles innocently* |

Thanks for all reviewers! Mathonwy, I've read a few chapters forward and this thankfully isn't a slash story. |

A Dragon!Stu? How does one come up with such an idea? Does anyone see Smaug getting it on with an elleth or a woman? *starts banging head on the UPS* Ye Gods be thanked for the absence of slash. BTW, isn't there a sick story on ff'net with a Frodo/Thranduil pairing? |

Yeah, Willow of Moon Stone. Read at your own risk. Loved the MST. Especially the comments on the innuendo. |

Argh. He was not braver than Frodo, a better leader than Aragorn, as fast as Legolas, as wise as Gandalf or as loyal as Sam! He was not better than the Fellowship, why can't the Suethoprs just accept this simple fact! |

Yeah, Kalan definitely is a "bit" overblown character. Just wait for the next chapters, there are an angsty background story, fluffy friendship scenes with the Fellowship members, partly stealing Boromir's role at Parth Galen and getting captured with Merry and Pippin. And the fun doesn't stop there. There is a sequel, which I intend also spork in its turn. Edit: I won't spoil the sequel further, I only say that the Orcs suddenly develop a lust towards Kalan (thank God it's not graphic). |

Yep, it's NOT good. And guess what? Kalan gets to play a martyr again, saving the hobbits from the same fate. Plus the sons of Elrond are "just a bit more than brothers", to use Sylver-Star's expression. Funny, huh? Seems the innuendo in the first part wasn't all bad writing. Fortunately Sylver stopped writing "until further notice" just before the slash was about to begin. |
