Thanks for the doll, Siany. *Resumes poking needles into doll.* Hmm, maybe I'll dump it into some boiling water next.

Nope, put burning oil under the window first to make it better. I hooked one made of metal up the the plug socket, I have a pretty light show now :D
Merlin: Thank you.

*giggles* Dismemberment is fun!

Another pukeworthy chapter Cara, at least It is begining to act realistically. Well, a little bit anyway. The elves in this story obviously have no more brains than a chimp.

Anyone else think that if the Fellowship wasn't being bastardized by the Suethor, they would've left Kalan somewhere already? He's a hinderance to the quest. Oh wait, apparently that isn't as important as it is to make sure Kalan is comfy.

Yep I agree all he does is get injured. I would have let the Balrog have him.

I would've left him on the mountains.

Anyway, another great few chapters! Well, MST-wise.

Quote:

“The four of us, Aragorn, Merry, Legolas and I wish to help and protect you as well

Despite the fact that Aragorn is supposed to be taking the Path of the Dead, Merry is supposed to ride with Dernhelm (Eowyn) and Minas Tirith is THIS close to being overrun by Mordor. No, let's focus on Kalan. He's clearly the most important thing in Middle-earth right now.

Pippin: Hey, I got an idea! If Kalan attracts everybody that much, why don’t they send him to Sauron? The Dark Lord couldn’t command his armies if all his time was spent worrying over Kalan.

I like this plan.

Faramir (exasperately): If you can’t write even a chapter title without typos, maybe you shouldn’t try to write stories at all.
Pippin: Somebody is a bit cranky today.
Faramir (shoots an angry glance at Pippin, who doesn’t care.)

Gertrude sends Faramir her condolences.

And lastly:

You would have put up with hi until Moria?

What? No I would have sent him on ahead to Moria. Dnager is attrached to him easily so the Balrog would have him. Speaking of which eep! A mini-Balrog called Eomar is flying around!
Merlin: Thank you.

Faramir thanks Gertrude. As for the mini-balrog, I could understand if Sylver did the error once, but Éomer is Eómar throughout the damn story. Likewise, Sarumon. In the first part Sylver got Saruman right, but in the second... I wonder how hard it is to check the spelling of the names?

It's really hard, apparently, for some authors. I always love the first time writers who have only seen the movies. You get what they think they heard people named and spell it thus.

Yeah. I once read a badfic with horrible spelling, like Aragroan, Bromir, Galdriel and stuff. I got a good laugh, though, when the author referred to 'Gimli, son of Groin'.

'Gimli, son of Groin.' Has to be the funniest name mistake ever.
