Some people are just disgusting. I mean sure if you think it but why share it? Urg. Haha, now Jules that would be funny. The has to be a prison somewhere filled with REAL characters who have ended up there because people use alter version. |

The Prisoner of Imladris? Okay...but we'll have to find the deleterius version. You don't want to go in there without snarky commentary. |

Here is a list of all the chapters deleterius has sporked. Though, I do warn you that jules and I aren't being sarcastic and snarky when we say that the SAME THING happens in almost EVERY chapter. And that the plot doesn't really move nor are the characters developed. |

I was thinking about the LotR films last night and something my da said came to mind. Those films came out when my family was literally falling apart. In the summer before the first film came out, my da was hit by a car and almost died. Having been in intensive care for almost a month, we were worried about everything and nothing. When I saw The Fellowship of the Ring being advertised on the telly, I freaked out. (Funny story, I actually didn't know about it coming out in theatre until a week before it came out and that was cos I happened to turn on the telly. We didn't have internet yet...really, not many people did at that point...) This film could not have come at a better time. My da and I, walker and all, went to see the film and just being there with my da (even if he did look like Aragorn) made me so happy. If he died that summer evening, this special moment would have never happened. I remember whispering to my da 'Where's Tom Bombadil?' and he whispered back 'they're going to have to cut something out, better be Tom instead of something more important you know'. I think that pretty much sums it up. ![]() |

Oh, I can imagine how that must have been for you. My dad was in a car accident last summer, but we didn´t have Lord of the Rings to comfort us, not that my dad would have realized what was going on (he saw the first movie with me at the dollar theater, and he told me as we came out that it was the most confusing thing he´d ever seen). Still, Lord of the Rings was a comfort to me anyway at the time: I was fourteen and suffering from depression. |

It's true about Tom Bombadil. Oh and Mac, I see what you mean. I read 4 chapters and got that it was all the same. |

And it gets worse. Elladan and Elrohir inherited their father's kinky side and torture Legolas too. And if I didn't decide not to MST slash or anything graphic, I'd do the author's real people alternative. |

Well, Orlando Bloom avoids the computer and something tells me Viggo Mortensen and Hugo Weaving have seen it all. |

That wouldn't help, really. Then you'd just get all the stories where the wife is a slutty, cheating bitch/golddigger/tragically dead. |
