Calenlass, you must be right. Heck, after a short skimming over it seems that only the perspective has been changed, basically it's the same beginning chapter. I wonder which way the plagiarizing goes. |

I think the one Calen found is the better written. But we can check posting dates--deleterius has a link to Pride of Boromir. ETA: Here's the link to The Pride of Boromir on lotr adultfanfiction. According to the site, she posted this in 2007. According to Fanfiction.net, Larrkin published "As the Journey Begins" in 2005. I think we should let someone know of the plagiarism. |

Just let me know when you've copied all of Luinil's story. I'm not sure how lotr adultfanfiction handles plagiarism reports, so I'm going to PM Larrkin on fanfiction.net with a copy of the link. But I'll hold off till you give me the okay. |

Well, it's in the same field as all sexual kink fics to me--it should remain something personal, not put out on the internet. |

Couldn't agree more. Larrkin's not a bad writer, mind you. But disicpline fics aren't my cup of tea, and the one that irks me is that Arwen's been entirely cut out--not one mention of her anywhere. |

When it comes to those stories, I never know if they like the story for the plot or for the sexual release... I know it sucks when someone overlooks some great canon characters. There was one story I read that was pretty good except the author continually ignored Eowyn. I exchanged some PMs with her where she explained that she felt she couldn't write Eowyn properly. I told her that was fine, but to not pretend she didn't exist at all. If Eomer and Faramir are there, Eowyn is going to be mentioned or present as well. |

What possesses someone to think a noble warrior like Aragorn who is 87 years old would spank another noble warrior, younger though he be, as a form of discipline? They are both adults for God's sake! Everything Aragorn made Boromir confess could've been done in a tense stand-off, during a sword fight, during a wrestling match--anything but SPANKING HIM LIKE A NAUGHTY TODDLER! Humiliation does not equal romance, Luinil...or Larrkin. I only skimmed Larrkin enough to agree that Luinil plagiarized. I'm glad you guys had that remote. I think Boromir had enough trauma without finding out what Luinil thinks this Denathor did to Denethor's eldest son. Oh, nice shout out to Aurora Stephens, worst mother ever. |

Mackenzie, I know. If Luinil wanted violence, she could have had Aragorn and Boromir fight a duel or a wrestling match. In fact, a wrestling match could have been kinky enough, if that´s what the idiot was going for. But no; of course Aragorn, who´s acting more like an orc than a king, has to slap Boromir´s ass as though he´s a naughty little kid (which he´s certainly not!). And Boromir, of course, is portrayed with none of his usual strength and courage. Here, he´s a whiny weakling who actually CRIED because of the pain in his ass! Excuse me? Did Luinil forget that Boromir continued to fight the Uruk-hai while practically a pincushion? She doesn´t even need to read the books to know how brave and strong Boromir was! Oh, don´t even get me started on Luinil´s portrayal of Denethor. Not only is it horrible, but it makes absolutely no sense. Aragorn says that "once Faramir was born, he turned his attentions away from [Boromir]". Which means that...Finduilas was STILL ALIVE while this was supposedly going on! So where the hell was she while Boromir was apparently suffering as a child? Why didn´t SHE show Boromir the love that his father supposedly didn´t? Actually, knowing Luinil, I don´t think I want her to answer that question. Probably Luinil thinks that Denethor raped her and murdered her, before throwing her body into the fountain in the courtyard. Sorry for the long rant. Everything about Luinil´s plagiarized story infuriates me. By the way, I got my pen drive to work finally! So I´ll be able to post completed versions of the next three chapters. I´ll let you know when I´ve got the chapters copied and saved, so you can report the story for plagiarism. |

:sick:I got through by only reading the bold part. I don't understand how anyone would find this titillating. Or arousing, for that matter. I've got nothing against discipline. But this--*dumps bleach over head and goes and reads some good fic on SoA* |
