Quick question, when was this set, during the ring war? |

Exactly. Leiawyn comes to Lórien just when the Fellowship is resting in there. As for Mouth of Sauron, I thought that the crew would maybe need some fresh blood. Who could be better sporker-candidate than a foulmouthed villain? |

Frankicus and Visigothicus! I love the references to European history. I can't believe the Sue went riding without shoes. A little shetland-welsh pony stepped on my booted foot once, and it hurt a lot. Methinks the Sue doesn't know anything about horses and will get her toes broken at some point (one hopes). She also grabbed the horse's bit at one point, I think. Considering the bit is in the horse's mouth, that would be rather slobbery, and any horse in its right mind would bite her hand off. |

When I saw the name Alatus, I instantly thought of the Alans and the rest is literally history I don't know much of riding, but wouldn't those bare feet get hurt in stirrups? |

Barefeet hurt unless your on carpet, pretty much. Oh and I saw the bit bit too. Great MST Caranthol, can't wait for more.
That's true, and we all know how Star Wars referances, obscure or otherwise, make me feel!
Oh lookie the Suethor spelt her Sue's name wrong.
Oooh maybe the Emperor can kill her for us, she wouldn't last an Imperial Torture Droid at all. |

Eomer doesn't need a Sue. No one needs a Sue. |

Actually, even Leiawyn's brother Denemor thinks so. In the Chapter 13 he shouts at the Sue for sleeping with Eomer, along the lines that no knight of Gondor will now accept her hand. His logic is somewhat faulty, I must say, if he prefers a knight over a king as a brother-in-law. Every medieval brother would gladly have shed his blood to have her sister marry a king, but no, let's make Denemor a racistic jerk towards Rohirrim. |

This MST made my day I love the way the background story with sporkers goes. Ummm... Don't kill me, but... Who is Mouth of Sauron? I'm not a hard-core LOTR fan, and it's been a long while since I read it... But I sure love his interest in 'music'. Come to think of it, that's exactly what evil beings would find beautiful. Screams, howling of wolves, black speech... Lovely ![]() And I also love the riffs you made Mouthy was a great addition, hope he won't leave the company any soon Keep up the great work! |

Nice to know you liked it! Well, Mouth of Sauron was the lieutenant of Barad-dûr, kind of right-hand man for Sauron, I guess. He is some three thousand years old Black Numenorean, not a wraith but kept alive by his dark magic. In the book he appears only before the Black Gates prior to the Battle of Morannon. He taunts Aragorn, Gandalf and pals and shows them Frodo's mithril-mail as a proof that the Orcs have captured the hobbit. Mouth doesn't appear in the original films, but he has a small role in the extended edition of RotK, I believe. Don't worry, I intend to keep him as a regular sporker

Good. Mouthy is brilliant! Although I wouldn't call him that to his face. Honestly, Araoprn left Gondor about 15 years before the ring war. He could not have been there to see this wench grow up. |

And even if he was in Gondor, she'd know him as Thorongil, not Strider. Of course, something tells me the Suethor only watched the movies and didn't read the books.
Is Eomer known to be king yet? Is Theoden dead or still alive? Of course, by this point Eomer would be the obvious heir apparent so a knight of Gondor < heir to the Rohirrim throne but it would have to be seen if Denemor is aware of Eomer's claim to the throne. |

This scene is after the Battle of Pelennor, so Eomer is now the King of Rohan. It's kind of funny how Shel Bel explains why she made Denemor a total jerk.
I still don't get how being a brother-in-law for a king could be a disgrace. |
