Title: A Travesty.
Author: MackenzieW
Genre: Humor/MST/Horror
Text based on: "Enna" by tragicduck95
Rating: T
Characters: The gang, Voldemort, the Lord of the Rings gang, Anime Sue, Soun, two wolves, several other anime people, and Kaidyn--supposedly Aragorn's son.
Summary: With the theater finally rebuilt and Angey silent, the gang gets Enna. It's about how Sauron and the Ring somehow survive, the Ring is good, Aragorn is a mean bastard and the fate of Middle-earth lies in some whiney four or nine-years old. Rosa is a better option.
Warnings: Okay, this really isn't a fanfiction. This is some anime fanbrat's anime fantasy kinda sorta maybe not really inspired by LOTR. Also, tragicduck95 has been declared the next Phantom's Ange.

Quatre and Mackenzie had decided to take over the kitchen, to make cookies for his return from the mental health facility. The house elves didn’t mind—they didn’t have to cook and the two were good at cleaning after themselves. That left more time for the elves to do other chores or take a much needed break.

Mackenzie put the tray in the oven. “Okay, we need to wait about fifteen minutes now,” she said, wiping her hands of sugar. “Since that’s the last batch, we should clean up the kitchen.”

Quatre nodded, picking up a near-by sponge. “What are you doing?” a deep voice asked.

“Treize, you should know what we’re doing,” Quatre replied, handing Mackenzie the sponge so she could wipe down the counter.

“And why is that?”

“Because,” Mackenzie said, “your eternal punishment is to be a narrator. The Narrator knows everything.”

They heard Treize sigh. “You know how difficult it is to know you two are making delicious cookies and not be able to eat any?” he asked.

“It must be unbearable, but I can have some,” Voldemort replied, entering the kitchen. He swiped one of the cool cookies out of the tin container. “Once those are out of the oven, report back to your room. I have a surprise.” Quatre and Mackenzie exchanged a look. “And no, Treize can’t tell you.”

The two groaned but returned to the Remote Room of Doom, laden with cookies. Instantly, three men, one goblin king and a penguin were on top of them. “Calm down!” Mackenzie said. “There’s enough for everyone and the Death eaters.”

Before the frenzy could die down, the siren went off. “We’ve got badfic sign!” Mackenzie yelled, putting the cookies down. “Aragoran! Legoals!” she called to the mini-balrogs. “Make sure no one takes these!”

Mac: Alright, let’s go. Enna by tragicduck95. Uh oh, she’s a whiner.
Remus: I love those. Eases the guilt of mocking them.
Mac: Chapter One—The voice in the darkness.

I remember it only as darkness. There was no sky or land, only darkness.
Erik: That’s just paraphrasing the first lines of Genesis.

At first I thought I was dreaming... but it seemed so real. Countless times I tried opening and closing my eyes to see if I could see anything, but there was nothing....only darkness.

A few minutes had passed before I realized that I didn't know what was going on. (Weird huh?)
Mac: Just a little.

I realized that I couldn't remember anything. My mind was blank.

Nothing was happening. I couldn't remember, so I just listened. Nothing.
Remus: Maybe you’re dead.
Sai: Story’s over!

But after a few minutes I started to hear something, a voice. I couldn't quite understand what it was saying but I knew it was a man's voice. Did I know this person? Was he going to hurt me?
Jareth: I would hope so!

These thoughts raced through my mind as the voice got louder. Now I could tell what he was saying.

"I will soon be revived.
All: Who?
Sai: Wait, what fandom is this?
Mac: Good question…

Quatre: Voldemort said it was a surprise.

The darkness is coming.
Mac: Torchwood? Series One?

You can't do anything. Nothing. Nothing. The world will die. I will kill you all.
Sai: This is pleasant.
Octavius: And end sarcasm.

Kill you all. The time has come. The time has come. The time has come."
Jareth: Think the time has come?

I opened my eyes. It was a dream! Yet....it felt so real.

"The time...has come..." I repeated. I blinked a few times and sat up. I looked around and all I saw was a chair, a door, and walls.
*All applaud*
Mac: Brilliant description.

I looked down at the bed I was lying in. I didn't recognize anything. In my dream I couldn’t remember anything and I couldn't awake either. How did I get there?
After at least ten minutes had passed I decided that I wasn't going to remember anything soon, so I tried to get out of bed. That didn't work. The bed was so high off the ground! (Actually the bed was normal sized. I was just small.)
Jareth: Random. And why are you small?

I tried to step down but I fell. That hurt.
Erik: No shit!

I was just about to stand up when the door to my right flung open, sending me flying.
Quatre: Why were you standing so close to a door?

When I hit the floor
Mac: Weren’t you already on the floor?

I just laid there and gave a slight moan.

"O-oh...whoops." said the man in the doorway. I didn't feel like getting up so I just tilted my head towards him. He had four eyes!!!
All: WHAT?

Then my vision came clear and I realized he only had two. Oh. Right.
*All facepalm*

"Are you all right?" he said. I stared at him for a long time before I said,"yup"
Mac: Should be in a new paragraph!

I noticed he had really long hair and pointy ears.
Mac: Oh Jonas…
Remus: It may be some other fandom…

Hmm. Interesting. I stood up.

"What is this place? How did I get here!? And-" I was getting anxious and he cut me off.

"Follow me." he said walking out of the room. Hey wait a-... he didn't answer my question! That made me mad. I ran after him.

"Hey-" Before I could finish I flinched and stopped dead in my tracks when I noticed I had hundreds of eyes staring at me.
Mac: You know, this making me want to bash my head in.
Erik: Me too.

''Uh..." I whispered. The man stoped, turned around, and smiled at me. I didn't look at him but I could see him though the corner of my eye. I just stood and stared at all the people.

"Er...what’s this?" I asked the man. He didn't answer. Another man came up to me. He had black curly hair and normal ears.

"Welcome child." he said. I just stared at him. "You must be wondering what this is?"
Quatre: Umm, she just said that.

FINALLY!!! Someone was answering my questions!

"Er...yeah?" I replied.

"Heh. This is Gondor."
Mac: Oh. Sweet. Jonas.
Sai: So…Legolas?
Quatre: Most likely.

he told me.

"Okaaaaaay." didn't help.

"My name is Aragorn. I am king of this land."
Mac: WRONG! If he is king of Gondor, he would introduce himself as Elessar!

"Okey dokey." SO!?! I don't care what your name is buddy!!
Jareth: I don’t give a damn what you’re thinking. It’s not drawing me into the story and I’d rather see you thrown off the tower right now.

"We found you lying unconscious outside." he said sternly.
Remus: Aragorn is a healer at heart, right?
Mac: Yes.
Remus: So, considering they found this person outside unconscious, wouldn’t he interrogate him or her in the house of healing?
Mac: Logic.

"...how did I-" he cut me off. Grr.

"For years our land has lived in peace. The ring of power and its creator, The Dark Lord Sauron, who had terrorized us for countless years, killing our people in hopes of ridding all men,
Mac: Not ridding all men. Just those who stood in the way of his plans for world domination.

have been deceased until recently, they were resurrected."
Sai: Umm…No. Frodo dropped the One Ring into a volcano. It was destroyed and so was Sauron. The end.

"Eh?" what does his have to do with me?
Octavius: Nothing, hopefully.

"Only this time, the ring has been placed into the hands of men.
All: WHY?

The ring is no longer evil but is a weapon for us to use to defeat Sauron himself."
Mac: Once again, IT WAS DESTROYED! And Aragorn would know better than to trust the One Ring. He would destroy it.

Aragorn was telling me this as if he were telling a story to preschoolers.
Erik: Everyone look, the author admits to her writing level.

"WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ME!?!"
*All get thrown back*

I was getting angry.
Jareth: Yes, just don’t use all caps, please.

I just wanted to know what was going on! Was that too much to ask? Aragorn stared at me for a few minutes.

"...the ring has chosen you to be its master and defeat Sauron."
All: WHAT?

he said bluntly. A whole bunch of whispering went though the crowd standing around us.
Sai (Legolas): Has Estel gone insane?
Mac (Arwen): She is just a child! What is my husband thinking?
Erik (Faramir): Why is Aragorn trusting the One Ring?
Quatre (Frodo): I threw that thing into Mount Doom…Okay, Gollum bit my finger but bottom line, the Ring went into Mt. Doom. It’s destroyed!

"EH!?!" I said startled. He expected ME to defeat that evil dude he told me about!?!
Mac: Trust me. We’re just as a surprised.
Sai: Chapter’s over. Let’s go get some cookies.

"Enter the Animal Companion."

*Everyone returns.*
Sai: Don’t want to do this.
Erik: No one does.
Mac: Chapter Two, The wolf, my friend. Oh, this is already a problem.

"Eh!?!" I repeated. I looked up at Aragorn. He was scowling.
Remus: Good.

I looked around me and everybody had either a mean or worried look on their face. What did I do?
Erik: Exist.

"It's quite unfortunate that such a small and helpless girl would be chosen" said Aragorn.
Mac: Of course she’s a girl.

W-W-WHAT!? What did that mean? Helpless? I’m not helpless!! I gave him a mean look. He sighed.

"But I guess it can't be helped...I guess we'll have to make the most out of you." He put his hand to his forehead and closed his eyes. He sighed again then looked at me and smiled. This guy is really starting to make me mad.
Sai: You and I both.

I looked at the crowd of people. (The people that lived in the kingdom of Gondor)
Jareth: All of them? Or just the inhabitants of Minas Tirith?

There were lots of kids my age and older. There were old people and middle aged people.
Sai: This is a kid’s book.
Mac: Oh man.

But I noticed one particular kid the most. It was just a kid my age, about 4.
All: FOUR?
Mac: I did some background on tragicduck95—she’s into anime. Which explains her ideas of the Ring suddenly going good and also, in anime, sometimes small children are given large amounts of power.

He had nice skin and dark blue eyes. His hair was blonde that seemed to glow in the sun. He had a weird outfit; it was different than the clothes the other people were wearing. It was a white cloak that looked like an angels clothing with a silver veil atop his head. It didn’t go over his eyes though. He had wooden sandals and a staff that looked like a cresant moon with a yellow ball at the opening.
Sai: This sounds like someone more apt to show up to help us in our fight against Talpa, not in the Lord of the Rings.
Mac: By the by, C-R-E-S-C-E-N-T.

Nobody seemed to notice him. Maybe that was because he was hiding in the shadows. He was alone.

I watched him for a minute. He wasn’t looking at me, he was staring sternly at Aragorn, like he was hiding and didn’t want to be caught.
Mac: We get it! Move on!

He notice I was looking at him and he turned around to face me. Our eyes met. He flinched then ran away. No one noticed. Hmm. What a strange kid. I looked back at Aragorn.

"This is all confusing me... I don’t understand. What do you mean by I was 'chosen'?" I asked him.
Erik: Oh good Jonas.
Jareth (Aragorn): Great. Our Savior is an idiot. Anyone want to convince Frodo to come back?
Mac (Arwen): You can’t come back from Valinor.

Aragorn held his hand out to me. "Follow me," he said. "I'll explain everything." The crowd of people started to leave and soon they were all gone. I had no choice but to follow Aragorn. I really, really wanted to know what was going on.

Aragorn led me to a bigger room with lots of tables.
Quatre: Someone really needs to work on her description.

It was like a big dining room. He gestured for me to sit down at one of the tables and he and two other people sat down. One of them was the guy that had hit me with the door. I figured out that his name was Legolos.
Sai: Who is that? Legolas’ anime counterpart?
Mac: Sounds appropriate. His main weapon is a bow and his sure-kill is ELVEN SLASH!
Quatre: No wonder you left the anime fandom writing wise.

The other person was a short (I mean really short) guy with red hair and a long beard. His name was Gimli.

Aragorn explained to me how the first time the ring was created it was in Sauron's possession.
Remus: That’s because Sauron CREATED the One Ring.

He told me about the fellowship's journey to destroy the ring. Then he told me a brief history about the people of Middle Earth. (Of course I only understood about half of what he said.) Finally, he told me about the new ring and what was happening to me.

"My son, Kaidyn,
Mac: WRONG! Aragorn’s son is Eldarion. Not something borrowed from Japanese.

found you outside and brought you here. The reason we know that you were chosen is because you already had the ring in your possession. It's around your neck." I jumped. He was right! The ring was around my neck on a little silver chain.

"Eh!? How did I...how did it...huh?" I was confused. Legolas leaned towards me and asked, “how did you get it?" I stared at him with a confused look.

"D-Don’t ask me! I don’t know!"

"How do you not know?" asked Aragorn.

"Er...I...don’t know?"

"You must know if it is in your possession!" I think he was getting angry.
Mac: I think someone’s given Aragorn the temper usually bestowed on Denethor in these things…

"Uh...I....Don’t remember...anything" Legolas and Gimli looked at each other then back at me. Aragorn never took his eyes off me.

"What the heck is going on??" I asked. I swear I was about to cry I was so confused.

"I don’t know..." Said Aragorn, “we need to discuss this matter with the council"
Mac: What council?

Aragorn said to Legolas. He nodded. Legolas laced his hands and smiled at me.

"Why don’t you go to the apple orchard for a bit while we straighten this out?" He pointed to a big door that led to the outside.
Quatre: Translation: GET OUT!

-------------------------------------------

I stepped outside and sighed.

"What does all of this mean?" I asked myself. I looked up at the sky. It didn’t seem different than any other sky but....then again I couldn’t remember any other sky. I couldn’t even remember who I was.

Snap! I Jumped. Someone had stepped on a stick. I twirled around to face the person only...it wasn’t a person. Strange enough, I recognized her! I knew her!!! Why is this the only thing I remember?

"Spirit" As I said her name she walked up to me. She was a wolf.
Mac: Not good, not good!
Sai: No Sue animal companion is.
Mac: But wolves in Middle-earth are distinctly evil.
Sai: Not good, not good!

Her fur was very pretty. It was a sliver that gleamed n the sun like water under the moonlight. Although she was very small, she had a nice strong figure. I bent down to touch her soft head as she said my name.
All: TALKING WOLF!

"Enna"
Quatre: dun dun DUN!
Mac: Okay, chapter’s over. Let’s go!

"Enna Befriends a Mime. You May Now Mime Ways to Kill Yourself"

*Everyone returns, munching on chocolate.*
Sai: I love the holidays. Lots of chocolate! Yum.
Mac: This will almost make Chapter Three tolerable. Almost.
Erik: Why almost?
Mac: The title is The boy with the golden aura.
Erik: Almost then.

We just stared at each other for a long time. I was really confused.
Jareth: Join the club.

Why did I remember her and no one else? Why did she remember me? Well, I guess it doesn't matter anyway. I don't think I'll be able to figure it out.

"Spirit . . . why are you the only thing I remember?" I asked her anyway. She sat down and looked up at me with a confused look.

"You mean . . . your mind is blank too?" She sighed and looked at the ground. She seemed sad. I reached out to her.

"...Spirit -”

"Well, I guess it doesn't matter! The only thing that matters is that we are together. Right?" She gave a little laugh.

"U-uh ..."
Quatre: Right…Sure, together…

"Well, I'm bored! Let's go look around!" She bit the sleeve of my shirt and pulled me to my feet.

"O-OK." Spirit led me to the apple orchard. It was beautiful! All of the trees were blooming with pink and white flowers. We walked around for a bit, not saying a word. Spirit looked really down. I wonder what happened. I decided to say something.

"Spirit?" I said concerned.

"Hmm?"

"Is ... something wrong?" Spirit looked at the ground, then looked back at me.

"No...I just -" She was cut off by a strange noise.

Crack...Crack...It sounded like it came from the tree above us, then was silent.

"OKaaay... That was -" CRACK! A limb broke off of the tree and landed on top of me.
All: YES!

"KYAA!" Spirit jumped away in time, but I was hit, (she didn't even try to bother to help me...that little brat,)
Gertrude: Comma isn’t needed there. The comma after hit should go after the closing parenthesis.
Erik: I like this Spirit.

I tried to get up, but I couldn't. There was something on my back. I turned to look at it. Surprisingly, it wasn't a limb. It was that boy from earlier!
Jareth: Good enough.

"Uhh...Could you get off of me please?" I think he heard me because he jumped right up and kneeled on the ground as an apology.
All: DAMMIT!

But he didn't say anything. He just kept bowing his hands as if to say "I'm sorry".

"Umm...It's OK...I forgive you..." I told him.
Octavius (Enna): Dammit, I’m stuck with a mime!

He stopped moving and stared at me. Then all of a sudden his eyes opened real wide and he stood up and started waving his arms.

"Uhh...? OK, man, just spit it out." He never said anything. I don't think he could say anything. He just waved his arms and pretended he was holding a pole.

"...Your staff? What about it?" He pointed up to the tree. I looked up. His staff was stuck up in the tree.

"You want me to get it? Why can't you?" He looked down at his right ankle. He had it propped up.

"Oh, you hurt your ankle?" I asked. He nodded.

"Ok I'll get it, so just wait a minute, OK?" I climbed up the tree with ease and got the staff, then jumped down. I handed it to him. "Here you go!" He smiled at me. I flashed him a big smile. He gave me a little one.

"Y'know what? I like you! Want to be friends?" He stared at me with a really surprised look.
Sai: He didn’t want to be friends.

I held out my hand to him and it took him awhile before he finally took it. He looked up at me and gave me a big smile this time.

"Let me see your ankle." I said. I led him to a tree and he sat down against it. He stuck out his leg, and I examined it.

"Hmm" I started. "It looks like you sprained it, but I think it will be OK!" He sighed.
Remus: How does a four years-old know all of this?

"...What’s wrong?" I asked him. He shook his head. This boy is interesting. I wonder why he can't talk.

Spirit tapped on my leg. Ooops. I kinda forgot she was there.

"What?"

"Enna...he looks depressed. Do you think we should tell somebody?" Quickly the boy lunged forward and shook his head no rapidly.
Quatre: He didn’t want to be put on suicide walk.

"No? But shouldn't you- wait a- YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME??" spirit yelled. The boy nodded.

"H-H-How??" the boy shrugged. I looked at spirit then back at the boy.

"Are you all alone?" I asked him. He shook his head and started looking around as if he were looking for something.

"Someone is with you?" I asked. He nodded then pointed at spirit.

"What!?" Spirit said as she jumped up.
Mac (Spirit): I only signed up to be one Sue’s animal companion, not a Sue and a Stu.

“You...have a wolf like spirit with you?" I figured. He nodded.

“well where is she?" just as I said that a big wolf came running towards us. She stopped abruptly and almost fell on the boy.
Jareth: Why assume it’s a girl?
Mac: Because a girl is writing it.
Jareth: Point taken.

"Oh!" It surprised me. The wolf looked at the boy then spirit then me then the boy again.

"Who are they?" she said in a frightening voice.

"Um...excuse me." I said. She turned around to look at me. "This boy fell and hurt his ankle." She looked back at the boy then at me.

"I see I apologize for getting my suspicions up...it’s just that I’m not used to seeing other people around him."

"Whys that?" the wolf stared at the ground for a minute then she began.

"About 2 months ago, we arrived here, not remembering anything about where we came from and everything. We tried to settle in but no one would accept us
Mac: Maybe because wolves are EVIL?

so we came here and we're in hiding." She told us.

"Just like us!" Spirit chirped. She scared me so I jumped when she said that.
Sai: I’d rather go to the dentist than read this.

"Well, not the part about being here for 2 months and not being accepting but we can't remember anything either! Weird huh? Maybe we come from the same place?" She said really fast.

"Hmmm... I don't think so." Said the wolf.
Gertrude: I have had it! Why do these writers never use a comma when formatting dialogue?

"Oh? Why not?"

“I don't think I would have lived with such an absent brained wolf such as yourself." I almost started laughing.

"Excuse me!?!" Spirit yelled," What do you mean 'absent brained'???"
Octavius: Particularly when the expression is “absent-minded.”

"Heh. You don't get it do you? Our masters have different skin tones."
Mac: That doesn’t mean anything if you come from America.
Quatre: That’s racism.

By masters she meant me and the boy. She was right. My skin was whiter than his. He had a dark golden brown color. This means we come from different places probably.
*All facepalm*
Octavius: It means he spent longer in the sun than you.

"Huh? I don't get it." spirit remarked.
Remus: Oh, she’s a genius, that animal companion.

"Exactly. Absent brained."

"Why you little-"

"What do you mean little? I’m bigger than you."

"GHASTERFLABBERGABBEN!!!" Spirit yelled.
Erik: Did…Did tragicduck95 just fall on her keyboard?
Mac: Eh, I think it’s some form of imitation German.

We all just stared at her.

"Yeaaaah..." I said to her. She gave me a disgusted look. The boy smiled.

"Whatever. “Said the wolf smiling also,"i was just kidding."
All: Oh boy.

"suuUUuure." said spirit.

“So anyway, what are your names?"

“My name is Enna and the wolf over there, that’s spirit." I said to the wolf.

"Well it’s nice to meet you Enna and spirit! My name is Meka and the boy is Soun."She said.
Quatre: Sounds Japanese, but the boy is described as being tan-skinned.
Mac: It’s anime…

"Soun ey? It’s nice to meet you soun! I hope we can be great friends." I said to him. He nodded. I had a feeling that something was starting.
Erik: Lovely. Can we leave?
Mac: Yes.

"Not a HATI Friendly Chapter"

*The group returns, munching on some candy canes.*
Mac: I love when Voldemort starts decorating for Christmas.
Remus: Though I can never help but wonder if the skulls are people I knew.
Mac: True. Anyway, Swords and the new girl. Great.

“No that’s not how you hold it.”

“Sigh…what good does this do anyway Kai?” The sun shone very brightly through the high windows in the practice hall. I guessed it was about noon.
*All clap*

“You have to at least know how to hold a sword!” Kai was Aragorn’s son.
All: No, he’s not.

His full name is Kaidyn
Mac: Look, Aragorn only had one son and Tolkien names him. The daughters however are up for grabs. Not that they should get Japanese sounding names.

but I call him Kai.

“Why? What good does this do?” I started, “Why do I have to learn this “I turned around and looked at him.

“Well” he snickered. He took a step towards me and slid to the side of me feet knocking me over.

“Umph!” I fell straight on my back.
Erik: Ahh, violence toward the Sue. Always good.

“That’s why you have to learn swordsmanship.” Kai said as he helped me up.

“But-…I don’t get it! You surprised me!” I picked up my sword and looked at it, “If I would have hit you with this I would have killed you!”
Remus: At least she knows that.

“No you wouldn’t have.”

“Wha-huh? What do you mean?”
Quatre: I’ve got to second that.

“I mean that you wouldn’t have been able to get to me because I’m skilled and I would have blocked you.”
Erik: Of course that’s what you meant.
Mac: Someone’s a bit cocky.

He took a step towards me and I stepped back.

“Hmph!” I turned away from him.

“Ha ha! What’s with that face?” he asked.

“I…” I started,”Kai… I can’t do anything right!” I dropped my sword, sat down and covered my face with my hands. Kai let out a deep sigh.

Enna… you can get better. I promise!” he said reassuringly.

“It’s not only that!” I yelled, in tears. Kai jumped.
Sai: Great, another schizo.
Quatre: S’long she doesn’t develop an evil twin who is really Sauron…

“What do you mean?”

“Im tired of this! I don’t even know who I am or where I came from or anything! Sometimes I think that maybe I can remember something and then I… lose it.”

“But Enna that’s-“

“And everybody hates me here too!
Octavius: Gee, wonder why?
Mac: And end sarcasm.

All of the townspeople try to ignore me and none of the village children want to be my friend!”
Remus: Call the wambulance.

“What about spirit?” Kai said, putting his arms around me.

“I don’t even know how I know her…”

“But you lover don’t you?”

“Yeah I do…”

“Then you have a friend!”
*All start humming “You’ve Got a Friend”*

Kai smiled at me. I gave him a faint smile. I wanted to tell him about Soun but Meka said that if they got caught that they would be sent away. She said that Gondor’s king, Aragorn, was very strict and that if he didn’t like someone that they couldn’t stay.
All: The HELL?
Mac: Aragorn, who spent most of his time exiled from Gondor himself? Aragorn, the wise and just? Jonas dammit, Ducky, at least WATCH THE DAMN MOVIES!
*Guys poke heads out from a few rows back*
Sai: Is it safe?

“Whaaaaaaaat? That’s so mean!” I had told her. She just shook her head and Soun looked depressed.(Even though he always looks that way.) I guess that Soun has been through a lot of hard times… I thought.

My flashback ended when the door to the practice hall suddenly flew open. Both me and Kai jumped as Aragorn burst through the door.

“What’s going on here!?” He yelled.
Mac (Aragorn): Who are you? Where’s my son, Eldarion? What’s with the wolf?

“Father? What do you mean?” Kai stood up.

“Why are you not teaching her??”

“Well…I-“

“No excuses! You’re too soft with her!
All: Grr…

She hasn’t learned anything in the 3 weeks that she’s been here!”

“Father, it’s only been 3 weeks!”
Sai: Aragorn would know a child would need more than three weeks. What is with him?
Mac: I don’t think Ducky knows ANYTHING about Lord of the Rings.

“She has no potential to learn!” I stared at Aragorn. He was always telling me that I was useless
Jareth: Signs of canon Aragorn!

and that he thinks Kai should have been the bearer of the ring
Mac: WHAT?
Remus: Yes, because given Aragorn’s family history, the one thing he would want is his son bearing the Ring. Sure.

and not me. I tried to say something but Aragorn cut me off.

“Kaidyn, if you can’t do anything about that worthless brat then I will!!”
All: WOOT!
Mac: But we would still like the real Aragorn back, s’il vous plait.

Kai was dumbstruck.

“Father, I-“Before he could finish, Aragorn swiftly turned away and walker
Octavius: I know the “r” key is above the “d” key, but honestly…

out the door, slamming it behind him. We stood in silence.

“Enna don’t take it personally he just-“

“Why…” I was in tears again.

“Huh?”

“Why is he always mean to me? Why does everyone hate me??”
Sai: Because you’re a Sue. People hate you.

“Enna… people don’t hate you.”
All: Yes, we do!

“Yes they do!!
Octavius: And you remember that!

Why am I here?? What am I doing!? I don’t understand any of this!!”

“En-“

“I just want to be accepted!” I ran out of the practice hall.
Jareth: Is the angst choking anyone else?

Kai didn’t follow me. I guess he doesn’t like me after all… I ran as fast as I could. Spirit stood in the middle of the road.

“Hey Enna, is-“ I ran right past her.

“Huh? Enna!” She just stayed where she was. I didn’t care about anything at that moment, I just wanted to get away from that place. I ran out of breath though and I stopped, panting. Someone walked up behind me. They grabbed my shoulder.
All (hopefully): PPC?

“AH!” I jumped and swiftly turned around. It was a girl about my age, maybe older. She had brown curly hair that went down to her shoulders and hazel-brown eyes.
All: Woo.

“Are you ok?” She asked me.

“I-I think so…” I looked down at the ground. She just smiled.

“Hey, you were running weren’t you?”

“Er yeah…”

“What were you running from?”

“Well I-“

“Wait. Why don’t you come to my house and you can tell me all about it, Enna.” She said nonchalantly.

“!?..How do you know my name??” I asked surprisingly.

“oh everybody knows your name” she said,”your’re
Gertrude: Close…?

famous!” I looked at her confusingly.

“And you don’t hate me?” I said.

“Why would I hate you?”

“I don’t know…” she turned me around and started walking me away.

“My names Jess.
All: AHH!
Quatre: Not another one!
Mac: Come on!

I’ll take you to my house.”

“um ok…” I didn’t really know what was going on but I was glad that there was one person that didn’t hate me.
Erik: Darn it, she’s gaining allies.
Jareth: Let’s get out of here. The Stupid is strong with this one.
Mac: Have you been watching Star Wars again?

"The Sue Almost Dies. ALMOST!"

*Everyone returns. Mackenzie is humming a Christmas carol.*
Sai: Well, at least Enna doesn’t sing.
Jareth: Yet.
Mac: Don’t jinx it. Chapter Five, The Trick and Saying Names.
Erik: This does not bode well.

“Jess are you sure?” Jess walked me to a brick house.
Remus: Brick…Middle-earth…Not computing.

“Yes of course it’s ok!” She exclaimed. I wondered why she was inviting me to her house so suddenly. As we walked up to the house, two more girls came up to us.

“Hey girls! Meet my new friend Enna!” Jess told them. I waved shyly.

“Oh really? How are you? My name is Millie.” Millie had short blonde hair
Mac: What’s a girl from Rohan doing in Minas Tirith?
Octavius: Perhaps she is Eowyn and Faramir’s uncommonly named daughter.

while the other girl had long black hair with a big green bow in it.
Mac: I have the perfect anime image for that.

“Nice to meet you. My name is ivory.” She said. She was kinda quiet which reminded me of soun. Oh no! I was supposed to meet with him after practice!!
Jareth: Further proof Ducky is the next Angey—abuse of the exclamation point.

“Uh Jess? I kinda have something I need to do I-“

“What? Leaving so soon? Oh no no no! You must stay!” Jess touched my shoulder.

“Um well I really-“

“Why don’t you come inside?” Jess led me to the door to the house. We just walked then stopped at the door. No one moved.

“Uh…” I started.

“Open it.” Jess’s tone changed.

“But I- It’s your house!” I was confused.

“Actually it’s not my house. Nobody lives there so we just use it as our uh… hangout. It’s okay just open it.”
Sai: I find it odd that such a city like Minas Tirith has an empty house no one else moved into.

She smirked and her two friends chuckled. I wonder what’s so funny.

“Um, ok then” I said as I turned the handle. As soon as I walked In something wet and heavy fell on my head. It was mud.
*All sigh*
Erik: Typical Sue prank. Honestly, can’t you think of something more original than putting a bucket of something wet over a door?

“Huh?! What?” I yelled surprised. Jess and her friends burst out into laughter. I looked up. There was a giant bucket above me. I had been tricked. I stood dumbfounded, covered in cold mud while Jess and her friends laughed away.

“J-Jess!?” I yelled.

“Ha ha! You think that I would really like you?” Jess said between laughs.

“What!?” I was shocked.

“You’re an outcast! Nobody likes you and you’ll never fit in!!” Millie said.
Sai: Oh Jonas, she’s being bullied in a pathetic attempt at angst.
Mac: Looks like people in this one are smart.

“Why!? Why would you do this!?” I screamed at her.

“Why? Because I hate people like you!” Jess yelled,
Octavius: Most people hate Sues.

” I hate people that think that just because they have some special power or something that they’re better than the rest of us!”
Mac: But anyone with any sort of magical quality is better than Men. They are the Valar and the Maia and the Istari!

“But…” I started to cry,” I don’t think that way.”

“Oh Boo-hoo! That’s how you think and you know it!!” Ivory kicked dirt at me. I was still dripping wet. I took off running, leaving them yelling and laughing at me still. Why does everyone treat me like this? Why does everyone hate me? What did I do to deserve this!? I was running so fast and crying that I didn’t see the large ditch in front of me.
All: YAY! DITCH!

I stepped on a soft spot on the edge and fell down in to the ditch.
All: WOOT!

“KYAAAAAA!!”
Remus: You know, that’s always what she writes when Enna screams. I have never heard anyone scream that way, have you?
Others: Nope.

I screamed as I slid painfully down the wall of the hole. I finally stopped falling and landed on a ledge.
Octavius: Okay, why does a hole have a ledge?

I just laid there writhing in pain.

“Owwww…” I tried standing up but my leg hurt really bad. I managed to stand up only to slip and fall again. I was about to fall off into a hole about 40 feet deep but I grabbed onto a root that was sticking out of the dirt. That was close. I was saved for now. Ok now what am I going to do? I heard a cracking noise.

“Oh no…” The root started to crack.
*All lean forward*

“Oh please no…” Crack crack…
*Erik hands out little bags of popcorn. Everyone munches.*

“Hiiiiiii…..” I cringed as the root snapped, slicing my hand open.
*All pass bags over for refills.*

“AAH-” Someone grabbed my hand. I looked up.
All: Aww…
*They put away the popcorn, dejected.*

“Soun!!” He had saved me. Spirit and Meka ran up behind him.

“Enna!! Are you ok??” I was relieved to see them. But the joy soon ended. The hand soun held onto was covered in blood and soon slipped out of his grasp.

“ENNA!!!” He yelled.
Erik: Hey, he speaks!

Soun lifted up his staff and it started to glow. A stream of light shot out of it and surrounded me like a blanket. It lifted me up to the ledge and into Soun’s arms.

“Soun…you said my name.” I said to him. Meka stare up at him with a surprised look.

“Soun…” She was shocked too. Spirit was more worried about me.

“Enna? Are you ok?” She said, worried. My gaze was attached to souns.
Remus: Ducky, they are little kids. Knock off the romantic tension.

“Yeah… I’m Fine…” I said, not looking away. This was the first time that I noticed Soun’s eyes. They were soft and full of relief. He was worried about me and he said my name. He was getting better. I snapped back into reality when I heard someone yell my name.

“Enna!” It was Kai.

“uh-oh…” Meka said. Oh no! Kai is going to see soun!
Sai: Err, someone want to remind me why that’s a bad thing?
Mac: I don’t know. Ducky can’t keep her characters’ ages straight…
Jareth: Like Angey.
Mac: So, it could be some odd love triangle.

I looked up at soun. He remained calm. Kai peeked over the edge of the cliff.

“Enna are you-“ He gasped. Soun looked up at Kai.

“E-Enna?” Kai slid carefully down to where we were standing. He looked at me then at soun then at meka then back to me.

“Who are they?” He asked me. I held onto Soun’s shirt.

“Other than Spirit, they’re the only friends I have…” I told him. Kai sighed.
Octavius (Kai): Great. Now I’ve got to go tell Not!Aragorn that there is a Stu with a talking wolf as well. Wonderful, particularly since Not!Aragorn is a bloody tyrant.

“See Enna, you have friends!” I jumped.

“huh?” I wasn’t expecting that.

“You told me you didn’t have friends! Why didn’t you tell me about them?”
Sai (Enna): Because he doesn’t talk and the wolf does! Hello?

“kai…please don’t tell Aragorn.” I pleaded.

“Of course not! They’re your friends, I wouldn’t want them to get kicked out.”

“Kai, thank you so much…how did you find us?”

“oh! I heard you scream.”

I looked back at soun. He smiled at me. I was in a lot of pain so I didn’t smile.

“Enna, you need medical attention.” Kai said. I cringed in pain.

“o..k..urgh..” Suddenly everything started to fade.

“Enna!?” I Heard soun yell then everything went black.
All: Yay?
Sai: Hey, isn’t Aragorn a master healer?
Mac: Do you expect a girl who portrays him as some evil tyrant to know this?
Sai: Good point.
Voldemort: No points!
Sai: I wasn’t awarding one. I said GOOD point.

--------------------------------

I awoke to find soun sitting in a chair next to my bed. I sat up.

“Soun?” He smiled at me.

“Where am I? What happened?” Then I remembered Jess and her friends, “oh…”

“Enna?” Soun looked at me. He must have noticed the depressed look on my face. Tears built up in my eyes.
Quatre: WAIT! *Searches around and finally pulls up a box of tissues* Got a new one. *Holds up the box*

Soun sat up straight. I started crying. Soun wrapped his arms around me. It felt so good for him to be there. Even though I was only 9 and he was 10,
Octavius: Wait, I thought they were four.
Remus: This reminds me of Melody, who was either eight or five.
Mac: No, for everything the author has done wrong and everything she has been critiqued for, she decides it’s important to clarify that Enna is nine and not that NOTHING IS CANON!

I was starting to really like him.
All: REMUS!
Remus: I’m getting ‘em, I’m getting ‘em.

“Soun…” He held me tightly. I Held onto his shirt and buried my face in his chest. I felt something cold on my face. I lifted my head and noticed soun was wearing a necklace. It was sort of like a T with a loop on the cross part, and two snakes spiraling around the whole thing. It looked so fragile and you could almost see through it. It gave me the creeps.

“Soun? Have you always had that necklace?” I asked him. He nodded. Even though he could say a few words. He was still very quiet. Kai walked in at that moment.

“Oh! Enna! You’re awake, are you ok?” He asked me. I stared at him for a moment then I looked back at soun.

“Yeah” I said, “I’m ok.”
Octavius (Enna): I’m in lurve.
Mac: PLEASE!
Octavius: Sorry.
Erik: Let’s go get some water.

"Like Legolas Would Name His Daughter Mina. Lay Off the Sailor Moon, Ducky!"

*The group returns.*
Quatre: I thought Angey was going to drive us insane but Ducky is coming close.
Octavius: Angey drove Erik insane.
Mac: That’s because Angey wrote in Erik’s fandom and twisted our murderous psychopath into a misunderstood romantic. Or an angel. I am sure if someone from Lord of the Rings were here, it’d be different.
Remus: And you just gave Voldemort an idea.
Mac: Crap. Anyway, Chapter Six. Recovery.

“Tweet tweet.” A little blue jay landed on the windowsill beside my bed. I opened my eyes.

“Nng…oh! Hello Mr. Birdie!” I exclaimed. The Bird
Mac: Have you heard about The Bird?
Quatre: Everybody knows The Bird’s the Word!
*Song plays.*

chirped at me again and then flew away. I sat up and stretched my arms. Spirit lay beside me still asleep. I hugged her.

“Snort!
*All facepalm*

Huh wuh?” She jumped awake. She stared at me for a moment then got up and stretched with a squeaky yawn. I giggled.

“What? What’s so funny?” I opened my mouth to say something but I was cut off by someone screaming.

“WAAAH!” followed by a splash and the sound of a dish rattling. I jumped up and hobbled to the door. When I opened it I found Kai laying on the ground, soaking wet and an upside down bucket beside him.
Jareth: AGAIN? Who set this up?

He looked pretty funny so naturally I laughed. We live in a separate part of the castle, a part that isn’t used anymore. Kai asked his father if we could live here because no one ever comes here. Kai didn’t want Aragorn to find out about soun.

“Hey! Don’t laugh at me!” He pointed his finger at me,” you’re supposed to be in bed!”

“Ugh…Kai I feel fine! Just my leg hurts now.”
Mac: And yet, you are standing on it. I hurt my toe and it killed me to go up and down stairs.

“Which is why you need to be resting.” Kai stood up and picked up the bucket,” Any day now my Father could just pop out of nowhere and- AHH!”
Sai: I’m sure he would scream.
Mac: Oh, I wish we could award points.

Kai turned to walk away and was startled because Soun had walked into the hall and was in front of him. Soun flinched.

“Oh…jeez you scared me Soun!”
Octavius (Kai): Two Stus in one fanfic is just too much! We really can’t be in the same room!

Kai said with his hand on his chest, trying to slow down his racing heart. I just laughed again. Kai shot a warning glance at me and I stopped laughing.

“You need to be resting ok?” he told me.

“Ok…” I said.

“Anyway, breakfast will be ready in about 20
Gertrude: WRITE OUT!

minutes.” Kai said as he walked away.

“OK! Hey soun, c’mere I wanna show you something!” I beckoned for soun to follow me.

He nodded his head and came into my room. I hobbled over to the bed and sat down. Spirit had fallen asleep again and was sleeping on my pillow.
Mac: There we go.
Remus: So, like Angey, Ducky also uses a bazillion more words than necessary.

“Move!” I grabbed the pillow out from under her and she conked her head o my sketchbook which I keep under my pillow.

“Ow! You could have told me to move.”

“I did!”

“But you didn’t give me enough time to react!”

“You’ll live. Come over here Soun!” Soun walked over to me and sat down on the bed. I opened the sketch book to the picture I wanted to show him. It was a picture of him and Meka. Soun was standing facing the left, and he was taking of his right glove. (Which is weird because he doesn’t wear gloves but I wanted to draw him with them)
Jareth: Like I care.
Erik: ACK! She DRAWS!

Meka stood at his side with his staff in her mouth.

Soun studied the picture then nodded and handed the sketch book to me.

“Nice...” he said.

“Really you think so?” I smiled with my eyes closed and head tilted.

Now I’m a really good artist.
Erik (Enna): Not to toot my own horn or anything.

One day I just got bored and decided to doodle and when I finished it was amazing. I ran to show Kai and he was shocked that a 4 year old could draw that well.
Quatre: Wait…
Mac: Nine. Nine. Ducky said she is nine. At least she clarified the age, unlike Angey.

I really don’t remember how I got that good but I am!

Spirit laid her head on my shoulder.

“You’re really good Enna!” She said.

“Really? Thanks!” Just then Meka walked into the room.

“Hey all.” She said. We all told her hello and then Kai walked in.

“Ok! Time for food!” He exclaimed.

“Wow! Great timing” Meka said. But of course Kai couldn’t understand her. Only soun and I can understand her. I don’t know why.
Jareth: Maybe because Kai isn’t evil?

“Ooh yay! I’m Starving!” I said. Kai dished us all out some soup and we sat down to eat.

“Sooooo, what have you been up to lately Enna?” Kai asked me. I Gave him “the stare” I created “the stare” to tell people “you’re an idiot”.
*All do “The Stare”*

“What do you think?” I told him.

“Haha just kidding!”

“Uh-huh” Kai shook his head with a smirk. Soun was the first to finish so he put his plate down and just listened to us.

“So I wonder when we will get going with this whole ‘journey’ thing.” I said nonchalantly. Kai stopped eating.

“Enna.” Kai put his bowl down, “you don’t know how serious this is.
Mac: Yeah, speaking of which, why haven’t we seen signs of Sauron’s return to power? I mean, hello, he’s Gondor’s next door neighbor. I’m sure Rangers would’ve reported more orc attacks, the sky would’ve being graying, Mordor would have signs of life…Nothing signaling that Sauron is back and a huge threat!

You have to fight souring.”
Remus: Well, that’s why Mordor has been quiet. She isn’t fighting Sauron. She’s fighting souring.

“Yeah so?”

“Enna you don’t understand! Sauron
Sai: Never mind.

has killed 100’s
Gertrude: Hundreds of men.

of men with one swing of his sword!” I swallowed.

“Really?”
Quatre: That’s what I was going to ask.
Mac: Question. Did Sauron get his body back?

“Yeah. Which is why I want you to get stronger so you can fight him! We don’t know what powers the ring holds now but the enemy will not wait. We have to leave soon.”

“…”

“Enna its ok. I will help you. It may not be years before you actually fight him.”
Jareth: Once again, wait…Did he really mean “It may be years before you actually fight him?”
Mac: I do not know.

“Yeah…”

“And Soun and Meka will come with us!” Kai said. When he said that, soun and meka perked up and looked at him.

“I will find a way to convince my father. After all…” Kai sat back in his chair, “I am the prince of Gondor.”

“Show off” An unfamiliar voice came from the door way. We all looked that way.

“Mina!” Kai shouted,
Mac: I now have an image of Sailor Venus standing there.

“How you did…when you did…”

“I’m an Elve
All: A WHAT?

Kai, I’m sneaky!”

“Neeh..” Kai stuck his tongue out at her. I stared at her.

“Kai...who is this?” I asked kai.

“oh! Enna this is Mina. She’s legolas’s daughter.”
All: Oh, ELF!
Erik: Spell it right, Ducky. Angey did!

He said.

“Oh…hi!” I waved to her.

“Hello Enna! Nice to see you are feeling better!” I stared at her.

“How did you know I was hurt?”

“Like I said, I’m sneaky!”
Octavius (Mina): And I’m friends with Kai. He told me in our secret We’re the Non-Existent Children of Canon Characters meeting.

“Right…” Mina was a girl about kai’s age. (About 15)
Remus: She’s young then. When do elves come into maturity?
Mac: Between fifty and hundred but she would be considered a child still in Elvish terms.

Her long brown hair was tucked behind her pointy, elve ears. Haha…elve ears…
Sai: She really believes that is how you spell elf.
Mac: Must not realize elf is one of those special words that doesn’t become plural by adding an s.
Erik: So, when she went to figure the singular of elves, she just dropped the s. I get you.

“Anyway, why did you come here Mina?” Kai asked her.

“Well.” Mina stepped into the room and stood behind soun's chair, “my father told me to find you and tell you that Aragorn needs to speak with all of you.”
All: Uh oh.

“Why?”

“Because it’s time to begin”
Quatre: dun dun DUN!
Mac: And thus, the story got stupider.
Sai: I’ll say. Let’s go get some cookies.

*Insert Indignant Sputtering Here*

*All enter*
Mac: Hey, anyone want to get “Feliz Navidad” out of my head?
Sai (singing): It’s a small world after all…
Others: NO!
Mac: Thanks, Sai.
Jareth (grumbling): Yeah, thanks, Sai.
Mac: Chapter Seven. He’s Coming With Me.

“What am I going to do?” I asked myself. I paced back and forth across the room. It was time to take off on our journey and I needed a way to get soun and meka to come with us. Spirit watched me.

“Enna, what are you getting so worked up about?”

“What if Aragorn doesn’t let soun come with us?” I looked at her with a troubled expression.

“Well…what if we just ask him?” I stopped and looked at her.
Jareth: She was thinking it couldn’t be that easy.

“You really think that would work?”

“Either that or we stuff them in a bag and sling them over our shoulders.”

“….spirit.” I stared at her.

“I was just joking!”
Sai: I don’t know. I liked that idea.

“I know.” I turned towards the door, “follow me.” I ran out the door, spirit behind me.

“Enna! What are you- Umph!” I stopped suddenly and she ran into me, “what are you doing?” I didn’t answer her. I stared at Aragorn and the others. They were discussing where to go and what to bring and stuff like that. I turned back around and ran back to our hall. I tripped over spirit.

“Arg! Enna! Watch where you’re- guu!” I wrapped my hands around her mouth.

“Shh! We can’t let them see us!” I whispered to her.

“Why?” I didn’t answer. Instead I kept on running. She stood there for a moment and then followed me.
Mac: How would you know that if you kept running? Problems with first person narrative, the person doesn’t know everything.

I stopped in front of Soun’s room. I knocked on the door.
Mac (in a tonal voice): I kicked the cat. The cat scratched me. Everybody laughed at me.

When soun came to the door, I didn’t give him time to react; I grabbed his hand and started to run away.
All: To Vegas?
Mac: Wait…nine.

“Enna? What are you…” Meka got up and followed us. I gave her a quick glance and kept running.

“Enna! For the last time, what are you doing??” Spirit yelled. I grinned.

“You’ll see.” Spirit and Meka exchanged glances. We finally reached Aragorn and I thrust soun out in front of me.
Quatre (Enna): Look at my dolly, Daddy.

“Enna?” He looked me confusingly.

Aragorn just gave me that ‘what the heck?’ kind of look. I scowled at him.

“This is Soun. He’s my friend and he’s coming with me.” I said. Kai stared at me then looked back at his dad.

“Um…father?” He started. Aragorn ignored him.

“It doesn’t matter to me. If he gets killed don’t come crying to me about it.”
*All jaws drop*
Mac: That does it. Who is this man and what has he done with Aragorn?

He crossed his arms. I smiled.

“Soun did you hear that?? You and Meka can come too!!” I was excited. He smiled back at me. Spirit cocked her head.

“Well that was unnecessarily dramatic.” She said. I gave her a look of relief.

“I really didn’t think it would work.” I said. Aragorn and his group were already talking again, but Kai walked over to us. He didn’t look very happy.

“Kai? Aren’t you glad?” I asked him.

“Yes I am…but” He crouched down and put his hand on my shoulder, “are you sure about this? I mean, I know he’s your best friend but, this journey will be very hard. You are the one who will stop Sauron so everybody will be protecting you with their lives.
Sai: Wait, wait. Aragorn is willing to sacrifice his heir? That makes no sense.

In the end, you may be the last

one standing.” I stared at him. I had never thought about that. I looked over at soun. He nodded. I smiled and looked back at Kai.

“I’m prepared.” I said confidently. He sighed.
Erik (Kai): You’re nine. I highly doubt you understand.

“Ok. Go get your things; we will be leaving in a few minutes.”
Jareth: That’s…quick.

I nodded then turned to leave. Spirit followed me.

“Soun? Meka?” I stopped.

“Oh it’s ok, we’re all ready.” Meka said to me.

“OK! We’ll be back in a minute!” me and spirit headed off towards our room. Meka watched as we disappeared.

“Soun.” She turned to him, “You made the right decision. She is the one.”
Quatre: I hope that means she’s the one you are supposed to kill and not the one you’re meant to marry.
Sai: Please.

He nodded and looked back at me and spirit as we came running back.

“Ok! We’re ready!” Soun stared at me with cold eyes.
Quatre: Okay, now I hope that doesn’t mean he’s really Sauron.
Mac: Not after Schizo Sue.

“What?” He shook his head

“ I hope so…” He whispered.

“??” I was confused.

“He’s just spacing out don’t mind him.” Meka smiled at me.

“Ok then.” I chuckled. Kai walked up to us.

“ready?”

“Yup.” We all mounted horses, me with Kai and soun with Legolas. Meka and spirit would walk beside us. Soun was acting weird today but I shook it off with the big adventure ahead of me. I had soun so I didn’t worry.
Mac: Something tells me you should.

Everything was going to be ok.
Erik: Sadly.
Mac: I think we should anonymously tell Aragorn about this imposter terrorizing Gondor and making him seem like a cold-hearted bastard.
Remus: Agreed.

"Aragorn Would Like an Explanation. Now."

*Everyone enters. Erik and Remus are attached by knotted strings of lights, Mackenzie is wrapped in gold garland, Sai is holding an angel, Quatre has several ornaments and Octavius has pieces of tinsel stuck all over him.*
Mac: You could’ve waited until we were done with the tree!
Lucius: Voldemort said now.
Jareth: You look festive. *He ignores the dark looks Erik and Remus send him*
Lucius: Anyway, Voldemort has taken Mackenzie’s suggestion into consideration.
Mac: It was a riff, not a suggestion!
Lucius: And here’s a guest sporker! *Tosses Aragorn in* Have fun!
*Leave and doors lock. Aragorn takes his seat, slightly confused.*
Mac: Chapter Eight. The First Encounter.
Erik: With the PPC, hopefully.

Aragorn: Would someone tell me what is happening?

“Didn’t we already pass that tree?” I pointed to a large oak
Remus: Why is it always oak?
Jareth: Heh, you got so mad, you started blinking.

tree to the left of our path.

“Hmm, I don’t think so” Kai said, “They all look the same to me.” We rode in silence for a while. Kai seemed to be disturbed about something so I decided to leave him alone.
Aragorn: Who is this “Kai”?
Mac: Your son.
Aragorn: My son is Eldarion! And just a babe!

I sighed as a small twig broke off the tree above us and landed in my lap. I threw it at spirit who was walking alongside our horse.
Quatre: You know, Enna is horrible to Spirit. I’m surprised the wolf hasn’t bitten her in response.
Aragorn: Wolf?

“Ow! Hey, why’d you do that?” She barked at me. I chuckled. Soun looked back at me. He was riding a horse with Legolas. We had been riding for quite some time this morning. A couple of days had passed since we embarked on our journey and it seemed as if we had hadn’t really gotten that far yet. Our destination was Letto, a small village in the south. Aragorn told us that Letto was a village
Aragorn: I know of no such village.

where we would pick up another person for our journey. He didn’t tell me who it was and Kai didn’t seem to know, so I left it at that.

“Shh.” Soun put a finger over his mouth and motioned for me to be quiet. I tilted my head and mouthed a “what?” with a confused look. He pointed to Aragorn. Aragorn had an annoyed look on his face.
Aragorn: Why?
Erik: Oh, that’s your usual expression. Apparently, you are an evil bloody tyrant who hates anyone who is different than you.
Aragorn: What? Where are we going?
Mac: To fight Sauron. Again. And this time, you are trusting the Ring.
Aragorn: WHY?

Everyone was being so quiet. Soun shrugged his shoulders. I didn’t know what was going on but I decided to remain quiet. Suddenly. Gimli spoke up.

“This forest is said to hold some of the wolf-like creatures that attack travelers with their large claws and tentacles.” He said.
All: The HELL?
Aragorn: I have never fought such creatures in my time as a Ranger.

“Tentacles?? And they’re wolves?”

“I said wolf-like.” Gimli glanced back at me. I pondered for a moment. I hope they don’t come out. Legolas chuckled and shook his head. I glared at all of them. Jerks. I figured out they were making fun of me.
Aragorn: We are on a quest of doom and she worries we’re making fun of her?
Erik: Logic isn’t these girls’ forte.

I wish they wouldn’t…huh? I thought that I heard a noise off to the right. I decided it was just my imagination and sighed.

“…something wrong Enna?” Kai put a hand on my shoulder.

“No, I just…unng….” I held my head as the world around me started to spin.
Aragorn: Is the Ring starting to get to her?
Mac: The Ring just seems to be some sort of talisman she wears. Nothing to show that it is anything but a ring.
Sai: That and it turned good.
Aragorn: And the Hobbits went on a diet.

“E-Enna?” Kai stopped the horse, “Are you ok?”

“Yeah I-I’m fine…” But I wasn’t. I started to tremble because it was getting worse. I suddenly felt a sharp pain.

“Kai!!” I yelled and pushed him off the horse. I ducked as an arrow flew past my head and stuck in the tree beside me.
Usual Sporkers: DANG IT!

The horse whinnied and reared. I almost fell off but grabbed onto the reins in time to stop it. The others drew their weapons. I helped Kai back onto the horse.

“Kai! Are you ok?” I yelled. I was panicking. He nodded and turned to Aragorn. Aragorn’s eyes were set in the direction from which the arrow came.
Aragorn: And I care not about protecting my son nor these companions?

Kai drew his sword.

“K-kai?” I started to shake. Suddenly, the weariness came back. It felt like someone was running towards us.

“Kai…” He couldn’t hear me. An ogre like creature burst out of the woods. It screamed and tried to attack Legolas. Legolas shot it with an arrow before it could do anything. It fell, lifeless to the ground. From in the woods, more terrifying cries inched closer. About ten or fifteen of them came at us. Aragorn yelled for us to retreat and we took off at a much faster pace than before. They couldn’t keep up with us.

“Kai, are those orcs?” I asked Kai, whose eyes were sternly set on the road ahead.

“Yes.” Kai swallowed. I had been told about them but they were much more terrifying in real life.
Aragorn: They usually are.

“Kill…Kill them….” A ghastly voice rang inside my head.

“Aragorn! In front of you!!” I was too late. A ghost like monster came up from the ground and knocked Aragorn off his horse.
Aragorn: I must be out of practice. And how did I miss something in front of me?
Remus: What’s the ghost like creature?
Mac: Nazgul?

He quickly regained his strength and stabbed at the ghost but his sword went right through it. Two more ghosts appeared in the road, blocking our path. They looked like floating grey sheets with mist for arms. Each of them had a glowing green ball as a face.
Aragorn: What creatures are these?
Sai: Sound pilfered from some anime.

“Oh no…” We had nowhere to run. Just as we thought we were goners, a bright light came from behind the ghosts. I heard the orcs scream and scatter away. The light was so bright that I had to cover my eyes. The light soon faded away and I saw a white figure standing in the path ahead.
Mac: If it turns out to be Sailor Moon with the Silver Imperial Crystal…

“Are you alright my friends?” He sounded old.
All: Uh oh.

Aragorn scrambled to his feet and ran to the figure.

“It’s been a long time, old friend!” he smiled and took the old man’s hand.
Aragorn: It’s Gandalf, isn’t it?
Others: Yep.

“Kai...who is that?” I leaned towards Kai.

“That’s Gandalf. The White Wizard. I’ve never seen him but I’ve heard great stories.”
Aragorn: That is because Gandalf sailed before my son was born. Sauron was gone, his role was finished.

Kai kept his gaze set on Gandalf. Wow….he has a staff too. But it’s different than Soun’s.
Sai: I highly doubt Soun is an Istari.

We soon got back on the road. Gandalf said that Letto was only a few miles away.

~~~IMPORTANT PART~~~
Mac: Thanks for telling us this is the important part!
Jareth: Idiot!
Hi, this is the creator of Enna.
All: Hi, Ducky!
i Have made an important change because of some writing errors.
Mac: Aragorn isn’t a cruel mean bastard?
Erik: You realized you shouldn’t be writing this at all?
ENNA IS 9 NOT 4 AND SOUN IS 10
All: We know.
Aragorn: I have brought CHILDREN on a deadly quest?
All: Yeah…
i do not know what hapened but i origionally wrote enna as 9 but somehow it got translated into 4 and souns age into six DX i dont know how that happened. Please keep reading!!!
Octavius: Unfortunately, we have to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hey~ this is kirikhan.
All: Who?

just want to talk to you about my story.
Jareth: Is…Is Ducky a plagiarist?
Mac: Naw, I think Ducky belongs to another website.

allot of stuff has changed since i originally thought of it. it was kinda weird at first. originally legolas was ennas father.
All: :o

that didnt turn out too well. DX then it changed to aragorn.
Aragorn:

that didnt turn out either.
Others: Thank Jonas!

more changes were made and aragorn became a little mean.
All: A little?
Mac: He said that if Soun were to die that she shouldn’t come crying to him.
Aragorn: I said WHAT? Have I ever shown such a disrespect for another’s life?
Erik: Not to my knowledge. But then again, I’ve never been anything but a psychopathic murderer and yet people paint me otherwise.

more changes are probably be made later on. (but not in the chapters ive already posted) enna will probably be a really looooong story

*We would like to apologize for the interruption but the theater has broken into a massive frenzy. We will return in a moment.*

so bear with me!! im trying to think up more story!
*We zoom back on the sporkers, consoling each other and using Quatre’s tissue box*
Jareth: How about you think up a good story?

i had the middle and ending already planed but the begining with lord of the rings is the hardest part >.
Mac: How so? You aren’t following canon at all. If it’s such a pain, just toss it out and put this someplace else. We’d appreciate it.
Sai: Okay, story is over. Let’s go finish decorating the tree.
Mac: I’m depressed now. I need to watch some Christmas movies. Want to join us, Aragorn?
Aragorn: I think so.

"The Sue Must Die. No, Really, It's In the Story!"

*Everyone troops back in, including Aragorn*
Quatre: You’re doing this again?
Aragorn: I’m being forced to.
Jareth: That makes more sense.
Mac: Chapter Nine. In his arms.
Remus: I’ll get the bags.

I sighed and placed my hand in the water. Oh…it’s cold. I quickly retreated
Sai: I didn’t know that your hand was battling with the water.

my hand from the creek.

“Enna? Is something wrong?” Spirit strode to my side. I answered without looking at her, “no…I’m fine.”
Gertrude: That should be in a new paragraph.

She nuzzled against me cheek. I had lied to her. I was worried about what had happened on the trail to Letto. Those things, they talked to me. Or so it seemed. Maybe they were just mumbling to themselves.
Erik: Maybe you were just mumbling to yourself.

“Spirit? When we were attacked by those things…did you hear them say anything?” I turned to her.

“No. why?”

“I did. They wanted to kill us”

“Well duh.”

“…no. I mean they were talking about it…and I was the only one who heard it…and somehow I could know where they were coming from.”
Aragorn: Perhaps it is the Ring? It is EVIL, you know.

“What do you mean?” She cocked her head.

“I don’t know…” Spirit was about to say something when I heard someone call my name.

“Enna!” It was soun.

“Soun?” As he was running, I noticed he was carrying a large bowl. He ran up to us and I felt something cold hit my legs.

“Ew!! What’s in that bowl? You spilled it on me!” It was water.
Sai: If you knew what it was, why did you ask?

“Sorry.” He smiled. I rolled my eyes.

“Anyway, what’s in there?” I peeked in the bowl. A small head popped out of the bowl.

“Hello!” It chimed. It scared me half to death so I fell backwards, almost into the water.

“WAUGH!” I caught myself before I hit the ground
Quatre: But I thought she nearly fell in the river.
Mac: Not only is it illogical but it is the absolute worst case of telling not showing.

and propped my body back up. It had talked! It wasn’t like talking to spirit, it had actually talked! After my heart stopped racing I realized it was a fish.

“Ho! Did I scare you?” The fish did a back flip. I stared at t blankly.

“We found it in a pond a little bit away.” Meka pointed out.

“IT!?” The fish popped out again and spit water out on Meka. She flinched.

“Uh…what are you?” I asked the fish, half-expecting an answer.

“I’m me and that’s all I am!” He said, swimming in circles.
Aragorn: A talking fish. What is next? A kind, selfless dragon?
Mac: Don’t push your luck.

I looked at soun for clarification. He shrugged.

“Well…uh…what are we gonna do with him soun?” Without giving him time to answer I started again, “oh I know! You know that old guy we met on the way here? He looks pretty smart.
Aragorn: A wise Istari? Yes, I would think that would count as pretty smart.

Let’s ask him!”

“What about Kai?” Spirit asked me as I walked led the small group to where all the grownups were.

“Hm? Oh…he seemed in a bad mood so I think it’s best to leave him alone.”
Erik: he might be your best bet, though. Gandalf will probably call it an uncanonical creature of evil while Kai would give you some manga/anime rip off explanation.

We didn’t talk anymore on the way there.

When we arrived at the library which Legolas had pointed out to us,
Aragorn: Weren’t they just outside?
Mac: Plot contrivance.
Aragorn: Ahh.

I stepped inside, and almost jumped out of my skin.

“HEY!” The old man pointed a finger at me.

“Wh-what?” I managed to get out.

“Step away from the books!” He stepped towards me and pointed to a stack of books I had nearly knocked over.

“Oh! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean...”

“Hahaha! Just kidding!
All: Gandalf?
Aragorn: Impossible!

Come in! Come in!” he beckoned for us to enter.

“Weirdo.” Spirit whispered. I nudged her with my foot. The old man explained to us that his name was Gandalf and he was a wizard. I asked him about the fish.

“Hmmm...” He stroked his white beard, “I think I may know what this is. The fish, aggravated by being called ‘this’ splashed Gandalf. Gandalf payed
*All facepalm*
Octavius: Spell Check is your friend!

no mind as he walked toward a stack of books and pushed it over. Meka had to dodge the falling books. She barked at him.

“Ah! Here it is!” He picked a book from the ruble
Remus: Why does Gandalf have Russian money?

and flipped through it, finding the page he was looking for, “Arithine.”

“What?” I asked, surprised.

“It’s an Arithine. They are shape-shifting creatures.”
Aragorn: Shape-shifting creatures? What have you done to Arda!

He walked over to us and examined the fish.

“Shape shifting?”

“I don’t exactly know how though. There aren’t many of them so no one knows.”

“Ah…” We discussed the fish for a while before Soun came up with the idea that we should name it.

“What should we name him?” I asked. Soun shrugged. Again I rolled my eyes at him, “hmm...”

I studied the fish for a moment. I noticed a small orange dot on his forehead. Somehow it gave me an idea.

“We should name him Mono!” I clapped my hands together.
Remus: You’re naming it after a respiratory disease?

“Where did you come up with that?” Gandalf asked.

“Dunno. I think it sounds cool!” I poked the fish in the nose.
Sai (Enna): I also have it!

“I like it!” The fish exclaimed. It was settled. The fish’s name was now Mono.

Right then, Kai walked in and told us we needed to leave Letto.

“But we just got here.” I said, studying Kai’s expression. It was hard to read but it seemed as if he was mad. He’d been that way ever since we left Gondor.
Erik: That’s because he Stu powers weakened after he left.
Aragorn: Wait, if we are no longer in Gondor, where is this village of Letto located?
Mac: I think Ducky thinks Minas Tirith is all that Gondor is and not just one city in the country.

I furrowed my brows. He told us that we needed to get on the road. Gandalf agreed and gave soun a water pouch to put Mono in. Kai led us outside to where everyone was getting ready to depart. I saw Aragorn and approached him.

“Aragorn? Can I talk to you for a moment?” I asked nervously. He turned around and stared at me.
Aragorn: How dare you speak to me, the all-powerful and cruel Aragorn, king of apparently just one city.
Jareth: I think you got it.

“What?” He said sternly.

“I don’t get it. What is this ‘journey’ all about anyway? What exactly do you mean by I have to fight this Sauron guy?
All: You have to FIGHT SAURON!

I agree that I’m only a little kid. What can I do? You said I needed training. Why couldn’t we stay in Gondor?” I spilled out to him everything that was on my mind at that moment. Kai walked up beside me.

“We’re ready father.” He said quietly look at the ground, like he knew something. I looked up at him.

“…Kai?” He swiftly turned to me.

“What!?” He snapped at me. It startled me. It was the first time that Kai had ever yelled at me.
All: About time.

I stared at him with a surprised look. He cringed and walked away.

“…kai.” I watched him as he walked away. Aragorn broke the silence.

“There’s nothing you need to know right now. Go get your friends and get something to eat before we leave.”
Aragorn: I told more to Frodo in Bree!

He said and turned away from me. I stood, stunned. I looked over my shoulder to see Soun and the wolves laughing while Mono was singing.
Mac: Weird disconnect.

I walked over to them.

After we ate, I saw Aragorn walk over to Kai, who was sitting alone. He said something to him and they both left the dining hall. I wondered what they were up to. While I pondered about it, Legolas came up behind me and tapped my shoulder.

“Enna? Can you take this to Aragorn?” He handed me a package and pointed out a room that him and Kai had gone into. I exited the dining hall and walked down the hall to the room Legolas had sent me to. I was about to knock on the door when I heard Kai raise his voice.

“Father! I don’t know how long I can keep this up! I really like Enna!
Jareth: Love triangle!

I don’t want to act like I hate her anymore!”
Remus: Cue the declaration of love! *Holds bags*

What?

“If you get attached to her it will only be more painful when she dies.”
Erik: She’s gonna die? I’ll break out the popcorn machine!
Aragorn: I am sacrificing a young girl?

“I know but...”

“Kaidyn..Sauron won’t wait any longer. I do not know why the ring chose her but it was a mistake. She takes everything too lightly.
Aragorn: I would think I would worry about her age. Besides, have I ever told her how serious it was?
Mac: Not really. You just sort of ignored her and threatened her and yelled at her for not being an expert swordswoman after three weeks.
Aragorn: WHO IS THIS IMPOSTER?
Jareth: Umm, still trying to figure that one out.

I don’t want to lose the ring to evil so we won’t keep her alive much longer.”
Aragorn: I would never…I…Who…What?
Mac: If it helps, she’s a Sue and there is a rule out there—Thou shalt not suffer a Sue to live.

After hearing that I dropped the package. It made a loud noise and they must have heard it because Aragorn swung open the door and gasped at the sight of me. I let my hair fall over my eyes. I clinched my fists.

“You…You…”I could feel the anger welling up inside of me, “I can’t believe you!! You think I CHOSE to be picked??
All: No.
Octavius: He said the Ring picked you for some unknown reason.

Do you?? NO!” I grabbed the chain carrying the ring around my neck and broke it off. I threw it at him, “You wanted to kill me!! Why??
Mac: Do you want reasons one to fifty?
Remus: Or fifty to hundred?

I don’t want this damn thing anymore!! Take it! Take it back!! I hate you!”

Before I burst into tears I ran out into the dining room and ran outside.

“Enna??” I heard soun call after me. I didn’t notice him run after me. I only got so far before he caught me. He grabbed my wrist.

“Where are you going?” he asked me.

“Let go of me! Nobody wants me here anyway!
All: Damn straight.

Nobody cares about me anymore!!
Octavius: That’s not true.
Aragorn: Why not?
Octavius: Because it implies people cared about her in the first place.

Just let go!” He wouldn’t let go.

“LET. !!!” I screamed. I felt the tears run down my face and then I felt soun. He wrapped his arms around me. I screamed into his chest. I let out everything all in one scream. He hugged me tightly. I wanted to stay like that for ever. In his arms.
*Remus hands out bags.*
Erik: They’re CHILDREN!

I cried. I didn’t know why the news had hit me so hard but I cried anyway.
Mac: That’s a usual response when one finds out one is going to DIE.

“It's alright Enna.” Soun said. He ran his fingers through my hair and rested his chin on my head. I was so glad he was there. I never wanted him to leave.

“Please...dont go…don’t ever leave me alone…please.” I said wearily. He sighed and I felt his breath on my neck.

“I’m not going anywhere.” He said to me. And I believed it. He wasn’t going to leave me. He never would.
Sai: This is starting to remind me of Schizo Sue’s relationship with the Evil Twin.

I heard someone else say my name. It was Kai. I turned to him. Soun looked at him too. Kai was crying.
*Quatre raises a tissue box*

“Enna…I know you heard. I never wanted to go through with it and I wouldn’t. Ever. You’re my friend. Always. Ok?” He said through his tears.

“…of course Kai. Because you will never leave me either. Would you?” He shook his head and smiled.

“You have us too Enna!” Spirit and Meka, carrying Mono in his pouch, walked up to us too. I smiled faintly.
Sai: Oh no! It’s the “rally around the Sue” scene!

“And don’t forget about me Kiddo.” Another familiar face appeared. It was Mina.
Aragorn: Who?
Mac: Legolas’ daughter.
Aragorn: Of course.

“Mina?? When did you get here??” Kai and I said simultaneously.

“I’ve been here. When did you get here?” she said with a smirk. I wasn’t that familiar to mina yet, but
Erik (Enna): I could tell she was crazy.

she was still my friend. And she was Kai’s friend too.

“Enna…this is yours.” Kai handed me the chain carrying the ring. I remorsefully took it. But I held onto it. It was the thing that pulled us together.

After I was done crying, we decided it was time to go. I didn’t care anymore about what this ‘journey’ was anymore. I would find out someday. All I needed was my friends at that point. And at that time, for the first time, I truthfully accepted my challenge, because I would be fine. I was sure of it.
Mac: Well, that’s kind of a cheesy way to explain how Frodo made it to Mt. Doom which was apparently for shit…
Aragorn: I…I need…
Jareth: We know what you need.

"The Orcs Get Beaten by a THIRD GRADER?"

*All return sans Aragorn.*
Mac: I hope he’s okay.
Voldemort: Merry Christmas Eve!
Sai: Oh Jonas…
Voldemort: Enjoy.
Erik: We’re going to have to do a spork tomorrow, aren’t we?
Voldemort: …Yes.
*He leaves*
Mac: Chapter Ten. The Burning Village.

“Wait!” A girlish voice called after us. I turned to see who it was, so did Kai. A woman, probably in her early 20’s, came running up to us, leading a small white mare and a small black stallion.

“My father wanted me to give these to you.” she said, panting. We were just getting ready to deport.
Mac: They were kicking you out? How wonderfully smart of them.

“Your Father?” Kai asked the girl.

“Yes, he’s the king of Letto.
Sai: Then why didn’t he send a servant or make a grand event of the whole thing?
Mac: Wait, why would a village have its own king?
Remus: Your theory must be right. She must think all cities are small countries with their own king.

Aragorn spoke to him earlier?” She looked at Kai with shimmering eyes.
*Alarm goes off*
Mac (holding hand to chest): Holy crap, I forgot we installed that!

I glared at her.

“Ah yes.” Kai said, clasping his hands together, “And what would be the reason?”

“As a...partnership gift.” She stuttered on the word ‘partnership’.
Jareth: I’m thinking betrothal. Kaidyn, meet your new wife!

I didn’t know of the earlier occasion of Aragorn talking to the king, but then again, why would he tell me anything?
All: Exactly.

“Ah! Young Princess Lightney!”
All:
*They then burst into hysterical laughter.*

Aragorn’s voice startled me. The girl, obviously named Lightney, turned to him and explained about the horses. They talked for a moment and then Aragorn turned to me.

“Go get your friend.” He said.

“Which one?” I raised an eyebrow.

“The blonde haired boy!” He snapped.
Mac: Soun is a boy, it would be B-L-O-N-D.

“...He has a name you know.” I walked away without giving him a chance to say anything. I didn’t take me long to say anything.
All: What?

He was with Meka and Spirit, chatting with the ever so happy Mono.

“Hey Soun.” I stopped at his side.

“Oh hey.” He smiled.

“Aragorn wants to see us.” He nodded and followed me, along with Spirit and Meka.

“Ah, there you are!” Aragorn greeted us with a smile.
Jareth: That’s unusual. Aragorn should be here to see that.
Mac: He’s down at a local bar running up a tab. I think Boromir’s joining him later.

I twitched, “This is Lightney, The Princess of Letto.” Princess...that word shook me. I brushed off the feeling, “She has given us these horses that I want you two to have.”

“Really?” I looked at him, stunned.

“Yes, it would be better for you to have your own horses.”
Sai: I think the next question should be: Can you ride?
Erik: Logically.
Sai: Hmm, true.

I looked at Soun and then back at Aragorn. The horse that was appointed to me was the white one. Her name was misty.
Mac: Misty. Something is wrong here.

She had fur just like Meka’s snow-white coat. It was so soft. Sooner than I wanted, we left Letto. I didn’t ask where we were going nest but Kai seemed to know so that was good enough for me. Again, the path was full of boring trees
Sai (Treebeard): Boring? I’ll show you boring…
Mac: In twenty years.

that seemed endless. I let out a sigh”

“Something wrong Ends?” Misty asked me.
All: WHAT?
Octavius: I’m not sure if that’s to whatever the horse just said or the FACT THE HORSE JUST SAID THAT!

“Huh? Oh, no.” I stared up at the trees. A squirrel raced through the branches, I watched it, not knowing Kai was calling me.

“Enna!”

“Wha??” I almost fell off Misty. Kai snickered.

“We’ve almost reached a small village, it’s very nice.” He stared at the path ahead.
Sai (Kai): I sound like a third grader.
Remus: I just noticed your name rhymes with the Stu’s! *Laughs*
Sai:…Are you high?

“Have you been there?” I asked.

“Yes. Not long before I found you actually.”

“Really?” He nodded. We rode in silence a bit longer.

“Kai? Wh-whats that smell?” The air smelled like ashes.
Mac: Okay, Ducky, if the story is in first person and the narrator asks the question, it’s stupid for her to answer her own question.

“Fire?” The blood drained from his face. He suddenly kicked his horse and speed off.
Erik: Smart. Run TOWARD the fire.

“Kai??” I yelled after him Aragorn ordered us to follow him so soon we were all in a sprint.

“Eep!” I held tightly to Misty’s neck.

“The smell grew worse. Orange and yellow light flickered in the path ahead. We reached where kai had stopped. He stared in horror at the burning village.

“Oh no...” I couldn’t recall who made that statement. Orcs had gotten to the village, killed everyone and burned it down. It was a horrible sight. We decided it was best to move on.

There were dead bodies everywhere. Orcs and humans. They had put up a fight. Suddenly I had a feeling.
Jareth: Dead bodies usually evoke them.

It was like the one before only something was counteracting with it. Another presence.

“A human?” I thought out loud. Everyone turned to look at me. I ignored their stares and jumped off my horse.

“Hey!” I heard Kai yell. I ran to where the feeling came from and stopped when I heard voices. They were Orcs. There were 3 of them and they were crowding around a group that consisted of 2 girls and one boy.
Sai: You can “sense” it?

3?
Gertrude: Spell out!

I had only sensed one human! I hid behind a tree and none of them noticed me. 2 of them were about my age. The smallest, I would have guessed she was 6 or 7, was sitting on the boys lap, and shaking. The orcs were discussing something but I couldn’t hear them clearly.

“Enna? What are you-” I had completely forgotten that earlier, I had tied Mono’s pouch around my waist.
Quatre: If the fish talked, why didn’t they just ask it its name?
Mac: Because then Enna couldn’t be oh so special and name it.

“SHHH!” I hissed. But it was too late. The orcs looked around to find me. I had to act quickly. I attempted to run to the children but I acted too quickly.

“Hey!!” I heard one of the orcs call to me.

“Oops...” I stood still.
Erik: Oh yes, that’s going to work. *Rolls eyes*

The orcs growled at me and took a step forward.

“Run!” The older girl screamed at me. I was so stupid.
Remus: Truer words have never been spoken.

I didn’t even have a weapon.

“Heh heh. You have some guts to stand up to us.” One of the orcs reached out and almost touched me.

“Hey!” I heard Mono yell, “Don’t touch her!” He scowled.

“-Mono...” I swallowed.

“What’s this? A fish? Haven’t had fish in a while!”
Mac: Funny, I’d think the orcs would be scared about a talking fish.

My eyes widened. I could feel the other kid’s stares on me. The orcs drew their weapons and came at me.
Erik: Popcorn?
Others: No.

I closed my eyes. Crap...I messed up bad. I thought to myself.

I heard a scream. At first I didn’t know who it came from. I opened my eyes. It was so bright I had to quickly close them. I then realized the brightness was coming from Mono.
All: Hoo Boy.

He was floating in mid air in front of me and he was illuminating a bright light that blinded the orcs.

“Take his sword!” He yelled. I swiftly picked up the sword of one of the orcs. Then, without even noticing it, I fought. The orcs couldn’t see me so I was at an advantage. Before I could even stop to breathe, they were dead.
All:

I stopped to take a deep breath. That was a mistake.

I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck and fell to the ground.

“You’re strong for a kid.” I turned on my back to look at my attacker. There was another orc. He had struck me with some sort of club, “but not strong enough!!”
Quatre: That sounds like a cue for an evil laugh. *Shakes bag of cough drops*
Erik: Fine. Muahahahahahaha!

He lunged forward to attack me. I rolled out of the way just in time. He struck the ground. I gathered my strength and jumped to my feet. The orc growled at me and attempted to attack me again. I blocked him with my sword. He grunted and the smirked at me.
Erik: Suddenly can defeat the enemy? Check.

Suddenly, he ran towards the children.

“NO!” I screamed. Then he fell.
Remus: Klutz.

I flinched. An arrow had shot him.

“Uh...huh?” I stood there, stunned by all that had happened.

“Enna!” Aragorn called my name as he and the others ran to the scene.

“Aragorn I-“Smack. He struck me on the head.
All: SLAP THAT SUE!

“Don’t ever run off like that! We could-“

“Why would you care? You wanted to-“my rant was cut off when one of the children tapped me on the shoulder. It was the boy. I was happy to stop talking to Aragorn so I swiftly turned around.

“Oh hello!” I said cheerfully.
Mac: Appropriate tone. Their village just burnt down and you just fought orcs!

“Um...I wanted to thank you, for saving us. You are very good with a sword!” He said shyly. I looked down at the bloody sword in my hand and quickly dropped it.

“I uh...it’s nothing.”

“My name is Droun,
All: DROUN?

and this” He pointed to the older girl, “is Trecy and this is Jen,
*Mac hits her head on the seat in front of her*

she’s my younger sister...Tracey is a friend.”
Mac, Octavius and Erik: TRACEY?
Mac: Actually, chances are, she’ll improve this.

Jen was the smaller girl.

“Its very nice to meet all of you! I’m Enna.” I pointed to Soun and the wolves.

, “Those are my friends.” Soun walked up to us.

“Hey! Our names rhyme!” He pointed out.

“Really?” Droun stared at him.

“Yeah! I’m Soun.”
Octavius: Mac, memo to you, remember the beach ball.

“Oh...well that’s interesting!” Droun chuckled. I was about to say something when Kai pulled me behind a tree.

“Enna! You could have been killed! What were you thinking?”
Remus: Here’s a hint: She wasn’t.

He snapped at me.

“I could feel them, I wasn’t going to sit around and do nothing.” I said sternly.

“And where did you get those skills? You killed those orcs...”

“I...i don’t know Kai” I felt like I had used a sword before...it all felt so familiar.
Mac and Remus: Of course it did!

“don’t fear them...” A voice rang inside my head.

“What!?” I yelled. Kai flinched.

“I...didn’t say anything.” He stared at me.

“Kai...I think imp going crazy.”
Sai: Going?

I turned around and walked towards the others. Suddenly I remembered Mono. I gasped.

“Mono!!” I ran to the spot where he had been floating. He wasn’t there. I looked around some and then ran to Soun.

“Mono is gone!” I yelled. Gandalf stepped up.

“What happened to him?” He sounded concerned.

“Was he that fish that was glowing?” The girl named Trecy
Quatre: Okay, is it Trecy or Tracey?

asked.

“Yeah...do you know where he is?” I turned to her.

“No. he just disappeared.”

“Oh...” I slumped my shoulders.

“Enna...” Soun started to talk to me.

“Enough of this!” Aragorn yelled
All: Hear, hear!

and nearly everyone jumped, “we need to get going!” He turned and walked back to the horses. Kai and the others followed him. Only me, Soun, the wolves and the 3 new kids we met were left.

“We should go...” Spirit looked up at me. I nodded and turned around to face Droun. He spoke before I could say anything.

“We don’t live in this village. We were just passing by and got caught up with the orcs. We were on our way to Vinceil, a neighboring town.
Mac: In France.
Erik: Angey couldn’t give an accurate French name to save her life and now Ducky can’t find a Middle-earth sounding name to save hers.

So you don’t have to worry about us.” He smiled and walked towards the girls, “Thanks again!” We said our goodbyes and went separate ways.
Jareth: Something tells me not for long.
Mac: After Angey, I wouldn’t be too surprised if they never showed up again.

Once we arrived back at the horses, Aragorn spotted me and swiftly turned away.

“What? No new friends today?” Gimli smirked.
All: Oh, Gimli.

I glared at him and he put his hands up as if to say, just kidding! I was extremely mad at Aragorn. I didn’t know how much longer I could put up with him.
Mac: How much longer YOU could put up with HIM? You make it sound like he’s a burden. He’s probably the only thing keeping you alive!
Sai: I’m impressed he hasn’t scolded you for being a brat!
Erik: Let’s go.

"You Know, This Chapter Creates More Questions Than It Answers"

*Everyone returns.*
Sai: Well, that was a crazy party.
Erik: Quatre’s still a little dazed from being superglued to the ceiling.
Mac: Poor baby!
Jareth: Come on, let’s get this over with.
*Aragorn stumbles into the theater.*
Aragorn: That…man…said I have to *hiccups* do the chapter with you.
Remus: This should be interesting.
*Aragorn sits down*
Mac: Chapter Eleven. Finally, some answers.
Erik: Thank Jonas.

Aragorn decided to make another stop in a random town.

“This is so stupid!’ I said to soun. He looked up at me.

“I mean, what are we doing? We make random stops at random towns and I don’t see the point in it.
Mac: Well, generally, you need to rest and have a proper meal. Restock on supplies, gather information and other things needed on a quest like that.

It’s like Aragorn is trying to annoy me…”
Erik: Good.

I trailed off. In the last couple of days, I had learned that Aragorn wanted to kill me, and I really did not know why I was still hanging around after learned that.
Sai: Well, you’re nine and in a strange country. I highly doubt you are capable of going off on your own.

We had lost Mono, I had fought with a gang of orcs and I was starting to hear voices. Well, they were more like distant memories. It was the voice of a young man.
All: Bwah?
Remus: Talk about awkward transitions.

I couldn’t remember his face though. I was remembering something. The man would always tell me that I couldn’t fear my enemies because they feed on fear.
Remus: Dementors?
Mac: Wouldn’t be surprised.

I had to keep fighting until I fell.

“Don’t let it get to you.” Soun put his arm around me. He seemed bothered about something too.
Meka and Spirit weren’t around very much anymore. They would go off and do their own things and leave Soun and I by ourselves.
Quatre (Enna): Sadly, we couldn’t lose them.

I thought it was kind of weird that I only could remember her. I couldn’t figure that part out.
Erik: So far, no answers.

“What are we going to do Soun?” I asked him. He looked as if he was about to say something when Aragorn butted in.
Sai (to Aragorn): How rude!

“We are leaving.” He said and turned away. I glanced at soun and stood up.

“No.” I said.

Aragorn turned and stared at me blankly.

“What was that?”
Quatre: I think someone needs to get his hearing checked.

“I’m not going with you this time.”

Aragorn chuckled.
Aragorn: I laughed?

“I cannot allow that.”

“And why not?” My fists tightened.
Aragorn: For starters: YOU’RE A LITTLE GIRL!
Sai: Aragorn, she’s trying to leave. Let her go—you’ll be rid of her.

“You do not need to know that.”
Aragorn: I would like to think I would give a better answer than that.

He turned away from us. Soun jumped up and grabbed my shoulder. I then realized that I was shaking.

“I think…” I looked up and glared at Aragorn, “I have a right to know!”
All: No.

Without looking at me, Aragorn said, “Fine. I will tell you” Then he turned to us.

“There is no Ring.
All: Bwah?

It was destroyed many years ago.
Aragorn: I know. I was there.
Sai: Frodo will be happy to know his place in history is safe.

The one you have is a fake.”
Mac: To repeat—
All: BWAH?

“What? Then why-”
Erik: That’s what we want to know!

“There will be a great war soon.
Mac: Okay. This is confusing.
Aragorn: Who are we fighting?
Jareth: The Sues.

That is why we are coming to these towns. I am recruiting soldiers.”
Quatre: And where have you been keeping these soldiers?

“Who…is this war with?”

Aragorn closed his eyes and put his fingers to his forehead. “You know Legolas?”
Erik: The pretty elf?
Sai: The Mary Sue magnet?
Mac: Captain Obvious?
Aragorn: Something tells me I don’t want to know…

“Of course I know him” I raised an eyebrow.

“Well, he is the last of his kind that is peaceful.
Aragorn: What?
Mac: Apparently, all the PEACEFUL elves sailed.

The elves...I do not know what happened but they seem to be in bad terms with the rest of Middle Earth.
Sai: How many elves are left?
Aragorn: Not many and they are on good terms with the rest of Middle-earth.

Legolas had left after the Ring was destroyed but he returned to us with terrifying news.
Sai: Where?
Mac: Couldn’t be Valinor. You don’t come back from Valinor that easily.
Aragorn: Must be Greenwood then.

The elves had plotted an attack on Gondor. There has already been a battle but that was in another town.”
Aragorn: Gondor is a country. Did they attack Gondor or did they attack some place else?
Mac: And is it just on Gondor or all of Men? Will Rohan be involved?

“What happened?”

“None of us know…”
Quatre: So there were no reports from the front?
Aragorn: I’m sure there was at least one survivor!

For some reason I started to feel sorry for him. That feeling soon went away, “Wait, why did you want to kill me?”
Mac: Thou shalt not suffer a Sue to live!

Aragorn looked like he was about to choke on something, “What?”

“You said that you wanted to kill me.”
Aragorn: And then I hit the bar…Hmm, I hope Boromir’s okay…

“Kill you? I never said…oh... you are thinking about that time in Letto. Listen, I don’t want to kill you. Kai...did not know about the elves.”
Aragorn: My fifteen years-old heir does not know? When am I going to tell him? When it is over?

“What? Why not”

“Legolas’ daughter, Mina, Kai really likes her and she is a spy for the elves.”
All: WHAT?

“Why does Legolas not do something?”
Aragorn: Good question.
Erik: Because he’s a pansy.
Aragorn: Erik!
Mac: Because he’s just…there…

“He...” Aragorn paused, “Mina is kind of like a spy for both of us.
Sai: She’s a double agent?
Remus: Like Snape?

I do not know what she is thinking but she has not done us wrong yet…that we know of. And the incident in Letto, It was not you I as referring to. It was Mina.”
All: Uh huh…

“But I heard you say Enna.”
All: So did we…
Mac: Well…we read it.

Aragorn frowned, “ Yes, we used your name as a cover up for Mina.
Aragorn: Poor choice. Though, why do I want to kill Legolas’ daughter?

Kai knew about that and no, I do not know why he was ignoring you before that. After you started crying, Kai was crying too. He really likes Mina.
All: Aww…

If she ever seems to be plotting with the elves…we will have to kill her.”
Aragorn: What? Why? What if she really is a double agent?

I stared at Aragorn for a moment. I couldn’t believe that he didn’t tell me those things before.

“Why did you tell me I was some ‘chosen one’?”
Jareth (Aragorn): On a dare. Gimli’s consequences are brutal.

“I needed to tell Kai and my people something.”
Aragorn: Brilliant. I lied and told them our salvation was a little girl.

“You mean the people of Gondor don’t know either?”

“They don’t.
Aragorn: Wait, wait…I have led my people to believe that Sauron is back rather than a war with the elves? Am I thinking of Arwen’s safety?
Mac: I think Ducky’s trying to soothe the fans who were upset over Sauron and just pulled her out of her *covers Quatre’s ears* ass.

And you are here because… well because Kai likes you.
Sai: That…is a stupid reason.

He brought you home that day and said that you had told him that you had been left there.”
I stared at him in disbelief.

“I…said that?”

“Yes and he said that you were crying…you don’t remember?”

“…No.”
Erik: Read the story. Enna clearly remembers nothing.

“Oh…well anyway, he was so happy and for some reason…you already had that ring. I don’t know where it came from but Mina came to us after we found you and told us that ring was stolen from them.
Mac: Let’s go over this again: There were only so many rings made. The elves had three. Galadriel and Elrond have two. I highly doubt the third is going to get lost.

And now they want to kill you. That’s why you came with us.”
All: Okay…
Erik: Just let them kill her. Do us all a favor.

I pondered about what he had said

“Wow.” Was all I could say.

“Yes…so I did not mean to get on your bad side but…I am just trying to make Kai happy.”
Aragorn: I’m doing a sucky job at that.

“What about the orcs? Why are there still some of them if the Ring was destroyed?” I was still confused about a couple of things.
Aragorn: You are still confused?
Remus: Just a COUPLE of things?

“I do not know the reason for that.
Aragorn: They didn’t just disappear when Sauron was defeated. There were pockets of them still roaming around Mordor. The Rangers usually dealt with them.

They must have escaped some how,
Octavius: Escaped? From where?

or…I don’t know. Many strange things have been happening.”
Remus: Like Sues…

Soun had been quiet this whole time and I had forgotten that he was there.
Mac: What reminded you?

I turned to him and he shrugged.

“Um...”

At that moment, Kai walked up to us.

“Oh! Enna, hello.” He smiled and I half-smiled.

Aragorn put his hand on Kai’s shoulder.

“Kaidyn. I need to talk to you.” They both walked away. I stared after them. I had no idea about this. Aragorn had just told me everything that I wanted to know so I kind of respected him a little more , but I felt as if it was not right that I was here with them.
All: NO SHIT!

They were going through a lot right now and I felt out of place. I turned to Soun.

“Soun, I think we need to leave.” I said to him.

“Finally.” I jumped when he said that. I was expecting him to say something like, ‘why?’ or ‘not now’.
Sai: Look…the Sue expected logic in her story.
Erik: Fool.

“Huh?”

Soun walked over to me again.

“Enna, there is something I want to tell you too.”

“Um…ok.” Well at least I was getting the answers I wanted.
Jareth: And we’re still not.

“I need your help. I cannot explain to you right now but I want you to come with me.”
Mac: That’s never a good sign.

“Where to?”

Soun hesitated and then said, “It is not a coincidence that we met.
Octavius: Of course not. Ducky wrote it.

Actually, we were supposed to meet somewhere else.
Mac: Japan?
Sai: Oh Jonas, if only. I’d have rallied the other Ronins and even the Warlords to dispatch these two. I daresay not even the Ancient would’ve minded.

I don’t know why we are in Middle Earth.
Octavius: Once again, Ducky.

Enna I’m sorry.”

“S-sorry? For what?”
Jareth: How about for this travesty?

“I lied to you. Meka and I did not lose our memories. We were looking for you and had to give you an excuse at that time.”
Sai: You should’ve stuck with the mime routine.

He paused for a moment, “Look at my necklace. It is the tool you need to help me.”

His voice had changed.
All: Odd…

“Soun. I don’t understand.”

“It’s ok. You will soon enough. Meka has been training Spirit. That’s why they are gone so much.”

“Why?” Spirit was being trained? I was confused yet again.
Jareth: Doesn’t take much.

“Even though it hurts me to say this, Spirit is weak. She would not stand a chance against…” He trailed off.
All: WHAT?

“Against what?”
Octavius: We asked first.

He ignored my question.

“We need to get going. Quickly.”

He grabbed my hand and led me to the forest surrounding the town.

“Soun? Now? Shouldn’t we tell the others?”

“No.”
Sai: They’re leaving?

“What about Sp-”

“Enna!” Spirit ran up to us. Wow. Great timing.

“They have arrived.” Soun grinned at me. ‘I ought to get used to being confused’
Erik: You think we would.

I thought as he pulled me into the forest, the wolves behind us.
Aragorn: That’s it?
Mac: That’s it.
Aragorn: She just…left?
Mac: Yep.
Aragorn: Stupid bint.
Erik: That’s what I say!

"Insert Funny Chapter Title Here."

*All enter, sans Aragorn.*
Voldemort: Since no one bothered to keep me from falling into another universe…
Mac: I’m not your baby-sitter!
Voldemort: I give you another chapter.
Erik: Of…Of what?
Voldemort: Enna, what else?
Erik (quickly): Nothing.
*Voldemort leaves and doors lock*
Mac: Dang it. Chapter Twelve: Messenger.

“Enna, can you feel the thickness in the air?”

“Yes, I can” I stared down at spirit as she spoke.

“It’s abnormal.” She said and rested her head on her paws.
Mac: Or it means a storm is coming. I mean, how are you supposed to know Middle-earth weather conditions?

Closing her eyes, she began again, “Why is it that only we can sense this?”
Erik: Because the meteorologists are never right?
Mac: Oh SNAP!

I gazed out over the cliff.

“What nice scenery.” I drifted from our conversation.
All: Random.

“Enna.” Spirit grasped me from my drift.

“Oh.” I turned to her. “You were saying?”
Sai: I’m surprised Spirit hasn’t mauled Enna yet.

She paused for a moment then started, “Why is it that only we can sense these things?”

“I don’t know the reason for that.” I continued to gaze over the cliff. It was a very high cliff and I wondered if it would hurt if I fell off.
Jareth: Here’s the answer…
All: YES!

I peered over the edge but all I saw were trees. They were very pretty though.
Mac: This is very bad.

The snow had freshly fallen
Gertrude: That should be “was freshly fallen.”
Erik: I now have T’was the Night Before Christmas stuck in my head.

and they were sparkling in the twilight. Even though there was a thin layer of snow on the ground, it was not cold. The first snow never was.
Mac: That’s not how it works in New York. Usually it doesn’t feel as cold after it snows, but it’s still cold.

“It seems that it’s more you than me, Enna.” Spirit stared at me with wide eyes.
Remus: Wait, what are they talking about?
Jareth: Who knows?

“Maybe so.” I said without meeting her gaze.

“I feel as if we don’t belong here.
Octavius: Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
Sai: The wolf is the smartest person in this story.

Like we are from some other place.”

“What other place is there?”

Spirit pondered for a moment, “I do not know.”

After leaving the group, it started to snow. I thought back at what Soun had said to me.

‘Enna, I need you to do something for me. You need to get rid of that ring.’
Sai (Soun): It’s just a cheap knockoff anyway.

‘The Ring?’ I looked down at the chain around my neck.

‘Yes.’ Soun stared at me, giving me the chills, ‘It is not yours.’

‘Then whose is it?’

Mac: I swear, if he says Sauron…

I stared back at him but my stare seemed to have no effect.

‘That is for you to find out. Be a messenger for a while.’ Soun confused me with this.

‘A messenger? What’s that supposed to mean?’ I could no longer hold his stare so I looked away.
I heard him snort so I looked back. His smile caught me.

‘Enna, don’t get into trouble ok?’

All: Too late.

He placed his palm on my cheek and let it slide down to my neck.
*Mackenzie shifts uncomfortably in her chair.*
Remus: Squicked out?
Mac: Very much so.

The chain now rested in his hand. He stared at it for a moment the let it drop back onto my neck.
Mac: Shades of Boromir?
Erik: You’re right, Mac, if he’s really Sauron…

He then turned away from me and repeated, ‘Don’t get into trouble.’

‘If you are so worried then why are you leaving?’

‘Do not worry yourself with my doings.’

Sai: I liked Soun better when he didn’t talk.

He said and walked away. I stared after him but nothing happened so I gave up and walked away. Soun had said that he was going to go away for a while so I could find the proper owner for this ring.
Jareth: It’s really Sauron and Soun is too afraid to face him.
Mac: If it is, that Dark Lord has to be severally weak by now.

“I don’t understand that boy…” I said out loud.

“What was that?” Spirit twitched her ear towards me a few times.

“Oh nothing.”

‘Once you find them, you will find me. I promise.”

“What am I supposed to do Soun?” I gazed at the ring in my hand. I took it off my neck for obviously, it didn’t belong to me.
Erik: It didn’t belong to Frodo, but he wore the One Ring around his neck.
Mac: It was the safest place.

I could feel Spirit staring at me. “Enna, it’s getting late. We should head back.” We had a camp a little further in the forest.

“Yes.” We headed back to what we called our ‘camp’. It was actually an old fort that we happened to come across.
Mac: I would think that nearly all the forts in Gondor would be in use.
Sai: Perhaps they are in Mordor?
Mac: They’ve probably traveled far enough to be.

It was just me and Spirit now. Soun and Meka had left us for reasons unknown.

I lay down against the floor of the fort. ‘We’ll be safe here.’ I thought and drifted off to sleep.
Mac: Famous. Last. Words.

I awoke with a jerk. A group of birds fluttered away into the mist.

“Oh no.” I turned over and shook Spirit, who lay beside me, “Spirit! Wake up! We have to go!” The air was thicker than usual. We had decided that the thickening of the air meant that evil was near.
All: Mordor.

“Huh?” She slowly awoke and stared at me.

“They are closer.” I told her. She stood up and we gathered our things. I only had a small sack for food and a sword that I had stolen from Kai. Spirit had nothing.
Mac: Except her animal instinct!

We hurried away from that place.

Somebody was following us, we were sure of it. With our pace quick, we soon got to a place where we could relax. The air was thinner.
Erik: You’re on top of a mountain?
Sai: Hopefully it’ll take awhile before they realize it is harder to breathe in thin air.

Whoever it was that was stalking us was far behind now.
Jareth: That is one slow enemy.

Though I felt as if we were not yet safe.

“We should keep moving” I said to spirit. She nodded and we made our way through the thick forest. We walked in silence for a while, a long while at that. I thought of things to say but I never said anything. I was thinking about Soun and what he had said. Suddenly, the ground began to shake.
Mac (singing): Shake me up baby now! Twist and shout!
Men: SHUT UP!

I looked to the path ahead and the ground was cracking.

“What?” I stopped and Spirit stared up at me. I wondered if we should run.
Jareth: Here’s a clue—
All: YES!

I hadn’t felt the presence of whatever this was. I guessed Spirit hadn’t either.

“Should we run Enna?” Spirit said, staring at the cracks in the ground that were growing.

“Uh.” The cracks suddenly started for us. I jumped back. “Yes!”

“What is this!?” Spirit yelled over the cracking noise.

“Shut up and run!” I snapped at her. Then, we could run no longer. A giant black vine emerged from the ground with a large booming sound. We both skidded to a stop and ran the other way but were stopped by another giant vine. Soon, we had nowhere to run.

“What is this!” I copied spirit.
Sai: The Ents are fighting back.

A wave of dizziness fell over me. I clutched my head and moaned.

“Enna? Enna!” Spirit pawed at my stomach.

I looked up at the intertwined vines above us to see a girl standing there. She tilted her head and stared at us. She had black hair, tied into buns on each side of her head and her eyes were as dark as her hair.
Jareth: The chick from The Ring got a new hairdo.
Remus: You’ve seen The Ring?
Jareth: Mackenzie’s ban on horror movies does not extend to me.
Mac: Hey! However, I see a brunette version of Sailor Moon.

I stared as she chuckled and smiled creepily at us.
Mac: If she ends up being a wood creature of some sort…
Erik: This is more anime than Middle-earth.
Mac: Amen.

"This...Chapter...Was...ZzzzZzzz"

*Everyone returns, Mackenzie holding her wine. Jareth is sitting there.*
Mac: You are joining us?
Jareth: Ducky updated.
Mac: Ducky?
Erik: Wow, we could use some light reading after Sarifina.
Jareth: Judging by Mackenzie’s wine consumption, I’m guessing I dodged a bullet?
Sai: Yep.
Mac: Chapter Thirteen. Vinceil.

Enna
Chapter 12
Octavius (sing-song): Someone can’t count…

The girl continued to stare at us before she took a step forward and slipped off the vine.

“Eek!” She grasped the vine tightly and hoisted herself up again. What in the world? I thought to myself. She brushed herself off and looked down at us again.

“You there.” Her voice was small and not threatening at all.
Mac: You know, I think Ducky might be better off writing a screenplay than a story.

I hesitated, “Yes?” She took another step, this time more carefully, forward and hopped down to another vine.

“Prepare yourselves.” She jumped to another vine.

“For what?”

“To- WAH!” She fell again. This time, to the ground. I wondered if I should help her up but stared at her instead. She moaned and sat up.

“Ugh. No good.” Suddenly all the vines retreated into the ground. The girl rubbed the back of her head sighed.
Erik: You’re right. In the hands of good comedic actress, this would probably be funny—on screen. On paper, it’s flat.

“Um…” I was pretty sure she wasn’t a threat so I approached her, “Are you ok?”

“Yes. I think so.” She looked up at me and blinked a few times.

“NYA!! Loreen!”
Remus: Great, now I’m going to hear everything Loreen says with a twang.

A small black cat jumped out of the bushes and jumped on the girl’s head. He wore a golden bell around his neck tied with a purple ribbon, “It’s not them!”
Mac: Look—more anime influence!

“Oh. I am sorry.” The cat shook its head.

I looked at Spirit and she looked at me.

“So,” we both said. The cat looked up at me and swished its tail.

“I am sorry about the confusion.” He hopped off the girl’s head and walked over to us.

“Oh. It’s ok.” I stared at him.

“ I am Tenie
All: Oh boy.

and this is Loreen,” he said, “We thought you were someone else.”

“Really? Who?”

“Oh. I don’t know who it was but you don’t look anything like him so I don’t know why...” He trailed off and turned his head toward the girl, apparently named Loreen. She had her eyes set on me. I stared back at her wondering what she was thinking.

“Loreen!” The cat woke her from her trance.

“Huh? Oh. I am sorry.” She stood up and walked over to me, “That necklace of yours is very pretty. May I see it?” She was talking about the ring.
Sai: So, it’s hypnotic like the One Ring? Great.

“Oh. This thing?” I took it off and handed it to her. “It’s just an ordinary ring, I don’t see why-” I gasped. The ring, once placed in her hands, started to glow.
All: Uh oh…
Mac: Unless she’s the real owner.
Jareth: That was quick. Maybe the story’s ending!
Erik: I think you’ve gotten my optimism.
Remus: That’s a sentence I’d never thought would come out of your mouth.

“Lor…!” Tenie jumped on her shoulder and gazed at the ring in her hands. We all stared in confusion. It does not belong to you… Soun’s words rang through my head.

“It’s hers…” I mumbled. Spirit pawed at my leg.

“Enna?” I ignored her. The ring’s light started to fade. It gave one last strobe and revealed itself to be silver instead of gold.
Quatre: That’s a neat trick.

“What?” I leaned forward. “But it was gold!”

“Oh. I am sorry.” Loreen held it out for me to take.

“No. Keep it! It’s yours!” I took her hands and rolled them up around the ring. She blinked at me. Soun had been right, the ring belonged to someone else and I believed it to be Loreen. I smiled at the thought of being able to see him again. He really confused me with all the stuff about being a messenger which didn’t make a bit of sense but none of that mattered.
Sai: This is like Legolas not caring Freda…Laythia…isn’t who she appeared to be.

“He he! Loreen it’s you!” I threw my arms around her.

“What? What is me?” Now I was confusing someone else.
Mac: Wow, what a change of pace!
Octavius: And end sarcasm.

“Never mind that! Let’s go!”

“Go where Enna? You’re acting strange.” Spirit said.

“To see Soun. He knew this would happen. He said that after we found the person the ring belongs to we would find him.”

“Where did he go?”

“I don’t know!”
Remus: This is so stimulating.
Jareth: Perhaps I sat out the wrong fic.
Erik: No, no you didn’t.

“Then how will we find him?”

“Spirit! Just play along.”

Tenie jumped over to my shoulder, “Whoa whoa whoa! What is all of this? What are you talking about? Why did that thing glow when Loreen touched it?”
Mac: Cat can talk but can’t tell the “thing” is a ring?

He pawed at my face.

“I don’t know.” I said bluntly and he almost fell off.

“What? You make no sense!” I explained to him what Soun had told me and that we needed to go find him. According to Tenie, there was a town close by so we decided to look there.
All: Wow…
Octavius: And end sarcasm…

He seemed interested in what happened so he was glad to come with us. Loreen on the other hand, didn’t seem to understand what was going on so I just told her that it would be ok if she just followed us.
Quatre: So the Ring belongs to an idiot?
Mac: Great. I’m starting to wish it was the One Ring.

“Ok but I still have a few questions,” Spirit said towards Loreen. “What were those vine things and who exactly was chasing you?” I nudged her with my foot.

“She can’t understand you.” I repeated Spirit’s words and explained that I could understand her. Loreen only seemed to understand Tenie’s and my words. That was also strange.
Octavius: Where did we put the beach ball?
*All start to look around*

“Oh. Those were mine.” Tenie said, “It’s my magic.”

“Oh. I see.” I didn’t want to confuse myself or anyone else further so I didn’t ask any questions about that.
Erik: Translation: Ducky couldn’t figure them out so she decided not to write about it.

“And the person who was chasing us, we don’t know who exactly or what he was. He was very big though. And tough. I tried to fend him off but it wasn’t enough so we had to run away. I thought if we could surprise him maybe he would leave us alone, which reminds me that he is still out there so we need to get going.”
Mac: How convenient…
Erik: That was more like, “Oh, and we need to pick up some eggs!”

We agreed to get moving and headed towards the town.

“What did he look like?” I asked.

Loreen answered this time, “He was big and scary!
Jareth: Yes, we got the big part.

He looked as if he were already dead and he carried a giant axe!” Sounded like an Orc to me.
Sai: Brilliant guess. The only scary thing you’ve seen.

“Yeah and he could use Magic also. He created a windstorm of sand out of nowhere and tried to suffocate us!” Tenie added. Wait…Orcs couldn’t do that.
Mac: How do you know? Two days ago, you didn’t even know what an Orc was.

I suggested that we walk faster. Soon we were in view of the town.

“There it is!” Spirit pointed out. I suddenly remembered that we had also been followed. Was it the same thing that followed them? But I also got a vibe from Loreen and Tenie. It was the same as the Orcs but a little stronger. They didn’t seem like enemies. Why was I remembering this now? A lot raced through my head.
Jareth: It was very boring race then.

“Enna are you coming?” I had stopped.

“Oh…yeah.” I picked up my pace and caught up to them. I grabbed Spirit’s fur and pulled her back.

“Gah! What?” I hushed her.

“Spirit…I just remembered something. I got a bad vibe from Loreen when we first met her. What does that mean?”
Octavius: I don’t know who is stupider: Loreen or Enna.

“I don’t know. But I feel like we’re still being followed.” She looked back at the forest, “Do you think it was the same guy that was following them?”

“Maybe…” I let go of her. Loreen and Tenie were walking ahead of us and we kept a little distance. Now I wasn’t so sure if we could trust them.
Erik: Good work, genius.

I let that thought go when we entered the city.

“Vinceil.” I read the sign above the gate. It sounded familiar.
Mac: Oh it’s the random French town in Middle-earth.

“So where do we start looking for this kid?” Tenie looked back at me.

“I don’t know.” I shrugged.

He glared at me, “Do you know anything?”
All: No.

I didn’t have time to answer because someone yelled my name. I turned to see who it was.

“Enna? It is you!” I blinked a few times before realizing who it was.

“Droun??” It was the kids I saved awhile back.
All: Oh, them. Right.

They ran up to us.

“Whoa! What are you doing here?” He exclaimed. Now I remembered. Vinceil was where they were going. I was surprised they still remembered me.

“What a surprise!” The girl, Tracy, looked a lot different from when I saw her last. She was wearing glasses now and held a thick book in her hands.
Remus: I’m guessing she’s the “smart” one.

“This is a surprise.” I said, “Do you live here?”

“Yeah we do. What are you doing here?” Droun asked. Jen, Droun’s little sister, peeked out from behind her brother’s legs. I waved at her. She gave me a little smile.

“We’re looking for Soun. Have you seen him?”

“That blonde haired boy? Nope, sorry. Who are they?” He pointed towards Tenie and Loreen.

“Oh. We met them on the way here.” I turned my head towards them and Loreen smiled at me. They were nice. I knew it.
Octavius: Make up your mind! Nice or not?

“Is Soun in this city? Do you want us to help look for him?” Tracy pushed her glassed up off her nose.

“Oh! That would be great! Thank you!” They knew this town so it would help to have them around.

“So where should we look?” Spirit asked.

“I don’t know. He just said that we would find him.” I trailed off.
Remus: You don’t realize when someone gives you a kiss off, do you?

“Maybe he will find us? I know!” Droun clasped his hands together, “Why don’t we just walk around and see if we can find him?” I stared at him. That was kind of obvious but I didn’t say anything.

“Uh. Sure.” Now that there was a whole party looking for him I didn’t think finding Soun would be so hard.
Quatre: Something tells me it will be because they are idiots.
Mac: That makes me want to do the next chapter of Love or Duty!
Erik: I know.
Jareth: See ya, losers!

"When Canadian Mummies Attack"

*Everyone pours back into the theater.*
Jareth: Not another chapter of Angey’s work! No!
Erik: Why are you complaining? You haven’t been reading Love or Duty.
Jareth: But…But…
Mac: Relax, it’s not Angey.
Jareth and Erik: Good.
Mac: It’s Ducky!
Jareth:…You said that WAY too cheerfully.
Mac: Chapter Fourteen. When the sun rises.

I was wrong.
Mac: Glad you’ve admitted it.
Erik: But she’s still writing it.

Finding Soun had turned out to be very difficult. For one thing, we had no idea where he was. I was hoping that he would find us, which didn’t happen. It had been a couple of days since we arrived in Vinceil and we still hadn’t found anything. I asked some townsfolk if they knew anything about a kid with a wolf but they said, “The only person around here with a wolf is you.”
Jareth: Freak.

“So what now?” Spirit flattened her ears. I watched her nudge a rock with her nose.

“I’m not sure.” I felt something behind me so I turned around to find Droun a few inches from my face. I jumped back in surprise.

“Droun! Don’t scare me like that!” I waited until my heart stopped throbbing, “Did you find anything?”

“No, not yet. You seen really desperate about this.” he said.

“He’s really important to me.
Remus: Oh, right, the romance.

Have we checked over there?”

“Yes.”

“Well how about-”

“We checked there too.”

“…you don’t even know what I was going to say.”
Sai (Droun): You were pointing in the same spot.

He chuckled. “We’ve checked everywhere. Now, let’s go find the others.” I sighed and followed him. Spirit looked up at me with a sad expression. I shrugged and we walked on.

Vinceil was a very pretty town. Most of the buildings were made of white marble and seemed to have a glow to them when the sun shined. Today, it was cloudy.
All: Ahh.
Jareth: Do we really care?
Others: No.
Jareth: Thought not.

It had been very cold lately and snowed from time to time, we were outdoors all the time so it was worse. I shivered and looked up to the snow covered mountains east of Vinceil. “Well at least we don’t have to go there.” I thought to myself.
Mac: Yet.
Remus: Like Ducky is smart enough to hint that they would have to go into a mountain.
Mac: You’ve never seen a reality show, have you? I’ll make you watch Top Model with me, you’ll see.
*Remus gulps*

I stopped. “Droun?”

“Hm?”

“Where is everyone?” This city had been booming with people earlier. Where had everyone gone?
Sai: They heard you were in town.

Droun stopped and looked around. “I don’t know. Maybe they went to go get some fish or something.”
*All just facepalm*

I stared at him. “Fish, Droun? Fish? Seriously?” He turned around and shrugged. I shook my head and walked past him. Sometimes, he could be a real idiot.
Octavius: He’s not the only one.

I was getting worried, everyone had disappeared. I watched all the windows as I walked past and saw something flicker in one of them. A small boy gazed out at us and his mother pulled him away from the window and closed the curtains.
Sai (Little boy): But Mama, I wanna stare at the freaks!
Mac (Mama): Hush now. Maybe they’ll get the hint and leave.

“…What’s going on?” I mumbled to myself.
Remus: We ask that every chapter, Ducky.

Soon the others appeared and I asked them about it. They said they didn’t know anything. The funny thing was, I couldn’t remember when everyone disappeared.
Sai: We get it! Everyone disappeared! The town was deserted!

“Do you think something is wrong? I am getting a bad feeling about this weather.” Loreen looked up at the sky. I looked up too, it was getting really cloudy and dark. I shuddered.
Octavius: Cue the spooky music?
Mac: Sure.

“I don’t know…maybe we should go inside too. Droun do you…?” I turned to look at Droun but was faced with a wall of sand.
Sai: That’s not right.

“What!?” I jumped back. Suddenly lightning crashed and shook the whole town. This might have been what the people had been hiding from, but it was so strange, it almost seemed unreal. I heard Loreen scream.

“Nooo! It’s him!” I swiftly turned to look at her. She was crouched over and held her ears with her hands.

“Loreen? Who? Who’s he?”
Remus: Wrong one to ask. She’s an idiot.

Then, a dark figure crept out of the sand.
Octavius: So is Vinceil in the desert or by the ocean?

The sand started swirling around and disappeared around him. I stood still, too shocked to say anything.
Remus: Nothing new.

He was enormous. He looked as if he were already dead and wrapped with some sort of cloth.
Sai: A mummy? Vinceil is in Egypt?
Octavius: It’d explain the sand.

A large belt fell across his torso and he held a large, cracked and dirty, double axe.
Mac: A mummy from the Northwest Territory?

It was bigger than me. He opened his mouth and grinned with his yellow and decaying teeth.

“I’ve found you.” He said in a dark, low tone that sent shivers down my spine. He took a step forward and raised his axe. He was aiming for me.
Remus: Erik, are you moonlighting again?

“Enna, move!” I cringed and waited for his axe to fall on me.

Nothing happened. I peeked through my eyelids to see Soun standing in front of me. He was holding off the creature’s axe with his staff. I could have sworn his staff was made of wood, why didn’t it break? That axe was big enough to kill several men in one blow.
Mac: Soun is magics.

His staff shined with a bright green light. “Enna.” He winced but continued holding off the axe, “Move. Get out of here. Now.” He was scowling but he seemed so calm.

“S-soun? No! I won’t leave! I don’t want to leave you again!” I screamed.

“Enna! Please go! We’ll catch up to you.” Meka jumped out in front of me. Spirit jumped from behind me.

“Meka? Where do we go? What’s going on?” She cried.
Quatre: Can she not see the giant monster?

“Now is not the time for questions. Go. Now. Head to those mountains and head to the village of Wayshire.
All: WAYSHIRE?
Mac: Oh, and look, they are heading to the mountains.
Remus: Damn.

We will meet you there.” She turned towards the monster fighting Soun and grimaced.

Before thinking, I grabbed Loreen off the ground and yelled back to my friends, “Let’s go!”
Gertrude: Doesn’t need to be in its own paragraph!

I led them to the back entrance of the city.
Sai: How did she know where it was?
Mac: Signs?

Out of Vinceil.

Once we made it out, I turned to look at the city. I pillar of sand shot up from the ground and disappeared into the sky. Soun’s green light also disappeared. I thought about going back but Meka had told me otherwise. I looked up at the mountain and glared at the tiny village that rested upon it. I let out a puff of air and ran towards it. Droun grabbed my shoulder.
Quatre: Bad action scenes galore!

“Whoa. You can’t just run up a mountain, Enna!” He stared at me, panting.

“Watch me.” I shrugged free of his grasp and started running again.
All: Bye, Enna!
Erik: Let’s hope she falls off the mountain.
Remus: Amen.
Mac: Chapter’s over. Let’s go!
*All exit*

They returned to their room, where the minis were still asleep on Mackenzie’s bed. Voldemort stared down at them in disgust. “What are you doing here?” Mackenzie asked, arms crossed.

“Wondering why these little terrors tore up my manor,” Voldemort responded.

“Technically, it’s Lucius’ manor,” Sai added, sitting down on Remus’ bed.

“Technicalities don’t matter. Anyway, I also have some news.”

Mackenzie sighed. “Good news? Bad news? I better call gambling addicts anonymous news?”

“No,” Voldemort said. “There hasn’t been a Dark Lord and Ladies Poker night in a while. The news is that Ducky has moved Enna from the Lord of the Rings section to the miscellaneous anime section. As the basis of the mocking was the fact it was a Lord of the Rings written by someone with clearly only one viewing of the movies under her belt, I’ve decided to declare Enna dead.”

The room was silent for a moment. “Dead? Enna?” Mackenzie smiled. “YES!” She hugged Voldemort. “Thank you.”

The Dark Lord peeled the girl off. “You’re welcome…Now, enjoy the afternoon.”
