Urg stupid story, loved the MST though.

BORIS: Oh, that’s imitation Dorwinion. Its name sounds the same, but it tastes like crap.

And takes about double the time to get you drunk.

I was stalked by rabid weasels from Pluto for the rest of my life.

But they make such good pets!

I was overcome by an overwhelming desire to rebel and change my life.

BORIS (bored voice): So I became a Scientologist.

I love that riff, really made me laugh.

BOROMIR (clutching his forehead): Would an uneducated woman from Rohan REALLY know words like “politics” and “culture”?!

Normal ones wouldn't but this is a SUE!

LUNA: So Galion’s anal-retentive? What does that have to do with anything?

He's trying to be Mr Darcy from Bridget Jones obviously.
Merlin: Thank you.
Arthur: For what? For lying to my father to save your worthless hide? If you ever put me in that situation again, Merlin, I will clap you irons myself.

David: Oh and John. My TARDIS... mine. Say sorry.
John: Sorry.

I reckon it is a troll, I can't see Bard overlooking elven customs purposefully.

Neither can I, really. But I myself have gotten the urge to write some pretty damn horrible stuff at times. As an example, I once thought up a Denethor-Sue, in which Mary Sue, a thirty-something slut from nowhere USA (a la the two sluts in "Mirkwood Adventures") falls into Gondor and has an affair with Denethor, five years after Finduilas has died. I did start on a Wheel of Time Sue five years ago, when I still enjoyed those books, and I very nearly posted it online. My point is that sometimes these bad plotbunnies want to break out despite my knowledge of canon and my reasoning that they won't work, and maybe one of them did break out for Bard.

But there's a difference between a bad plot and totallly disregarding canon.
