They lowered themselves to a new level of immaturity. That was just cruel.
If I promise not to kill you can I have a hug?

My favorite thing about eating gummy bears is that they don't fight back when bite their heads off

Joker: You know, there are three kinds of people in this world. The optomistic that find the glass half full, and the pessimistic that see it as half empty. Then there's the paranoid, and they just think someone's drinking out of their glass.

Corrigan: Huh, then which one are you?

Joker: I'm the one who knocks the glass over.

That was stupid. Absolute self satisfied, selfish, stupidity.

The Encycolpeadia Dramatica is worse.

Oh yes. I don't like Stephanie Meyer's books but some of the stuff said about her was just....unjustifyable.

And seriously, saying Tolkien wrote lotr after seeing Harry Potter? Tolkien was dead before Rowling ever dreamed of writing. They're not nearly as funny as they seem to think they are.

I don't mind most of the critism but when it gets personal...

I went to the ED home page, felt disgusted after seeing some of the crap on there and didn't bother going any further on the site. Ugh.

And they seriously said that about Tolkien?! *headdesks* I'd expect that from a REALLY stupid Suethor!

Agreed. Tolkien is more of a legend than Rowling ever will be, and to lower him to that level... *hisses*

Don't worry, I'll be okay... After I find out where the sonofa***** (Crap, there went my Lenten commitment to not swear! Probably a good thing I'm not Catholic...) who said that lives...

Infinitley. I mean, Tolkien created his own languages, for Pete's sake! *headdesks*

You gave up swearing? Now that's hard.

And Tolkiens languages are awesome :) I still can't believe they said that *Headdesks as well*

Hmm, maybe I'll send Gollum to stalk them?

Yeah, and I've failed epically. I also gave up Twitter...

For high school grad last June, my RL best friend and I ordered prosthetic pointy ears and went as Elves to the grad banquet. Some people actually thought the ears were real! We were the coolest people to graduate from that school ever... :)

Good idea! Wait a minute... *makes a call* Okay, Darth Maul says he'll be happy to work with Gollum to track down those morons.

Tolkien is good, very good.

But since I've begun in "Master and commander", I must say I find Patrick O'Brian's work particulary impressive, too.

We must be careful to not put Tolkien on god-level. Things can always be done better, even in Tolkien's case. Brand this as sacrilege if you want, but it is so.

Nah, I agree with that. It's not a sacrilage.

Ooh, Master and Commander. . . I love that :D
