Ya picked a good one to spork! I don't think I could have survived this one! I was seething when she started throwing her faith into the readers' faces. I mean, c'mon, I'm a Christian too, but do I go around throwing it into my fics? No! (I loudly proclaim it on my profile though :)) There could have been other better ways to advertise her being a Christian, without creating a self-insert. When she created that ball of water I was just like, WHAT THE HELL?! She claims her OC isn't magical, but then does THAT?! Gah!! ![]() Glorfindel was happy to be in this fic, until he found out he had to take the Sue back to Rivendell. Lemme tell ya, that shattered his mood very quickly! Great spork job, can't wait for the next installment! |

This Sue reminds me of a Muslim-hating Christian bigot who could neither spell nor debate--the type of person I love to rile.
Actually, a lot of people think that Christians are condescending, intolerant and not very nice at all.
Geniuses think alike.
Given the way she rams her faith down people's throats, I'm not surprised. Great sporking, Ariel. I didn't even make it past the introduction when I was reading the original. |

I just love how this Suethor is trying to make her character seem like less of a Sue by giving her "nerdy" traits...and yet she's got the "flawless" skin, the weird-colored eyes, and the golden hair. Of course, this isn't even getting into the faith thing. If she tries to shove her faith down everyone's throats all the time, no wonder everyone hates her. I also love her lame-ass attempt to put Arwen and Glorfindel together in the scene. While Arwen gets to rescue Frodo, Glorfindel is stuck transporting that Bible-thumping twit to Rivendell. Good start. |

Suethor's seriously have no idea how a high school works. Cheerleaders and jocks do not bother nerds. To them, we don't even exist. So it irritates me when Suethor's and authors write them wrong. And as a side note, nerds do not spend all our time discussing Biology related topics. For one, all of us despise Biology and subjects pertaining to it. For another we are completely random. We don't discuss anything in particular, nor do we have debates. It is uncanny how this Sue seems to have many of my likes and dislikes. I do not know Japanese, and have no intention of learning it so that's a plus. |

I think it depends on the school. In my high school, the nerds talked about maths, computer games and all three sciences. They also liked to compete with each other to see who got the best marks. Jocks and nerds sometimes overlapped and there were no cheerleaders. |

Well, the subliminal messaging worked! Good job sporking this, Ariel!
This may be the first Leggie-luster Suethor that doesn't know who Thranduil is!
Xaja: *scratches head* I'm just confused... By the way, Glorfindel was originally ecstatic to hear that he was mentioned by name in this fic, until he saw the way he was written. He's now headdesking over in the corner. Poor guy. Oh, the bit about the sword left me going "What the frick?!". Good grief! Again, great job on this! Kudos! (Does you like prequel Star Wars fics? I just updated/posted two on my FFN profile. One takes place during Order 66... if you want to check them out... *subliminal messaging*) |

These days being called a nerd isn't a real insult, anyway. Being nerdy is fun.
Hey, I sucked a chemistry AND maths!
Haha! Or it could be a Nazgul summoning her to her doom.
I think sport in general damages your brain cells. The reason mine are still reasonably intact is because I avoided PE as much as possible. Which including wagging sometimes. ![]()
One of my random friends translated 'they're taking the hobbits to Isengard' into Latin and sent it to me the other day. I sent him back, "Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desire to speak with him." And we had a Latin war using LotR lines. He declared that I was a master of the books and movies because he couldn't get me even when he started switching round the vocab and word order. It was fun.
Not just wolf-dogs - Wolf Dog Pups. Capitalised. Gah, if there's soul-mingling/joining of auras/Sunchild etc., then I really will think Angey has her own fanclub going!
I'm so going to say that the next time someone tells me to get my mind out of the gutter! ![]()
WHAT?! Glorfindel, renowned Balrog-slayer, boring? Alright, that's it - where's this Suethor? Oh, and I nearly died when she automatically assumed that the guy standing around was Legolas, and that he looked exactly like Orli. *Headdesk* Stupid Sue, for all you know he could have been Galdor of the Havens! Or Lindir! Or some other random Elf! Gah!
I'd love to be an Elf. . .but it annoys me when Sues become Elves. Maybe that's my prejudice against Sues.
Now, that's a really weird mental image right there. I think this one's an Anti-Sue of some sort - slightly less bad than a full-on Sue, but still Sueish anyway. At least the spelling and grammar isn't as horrible as the stuff in 'Something About Those Eyes'. What on earth was she doing fighting a Nazgul? And Legolas is already going for her. Bergh. Nice sporking! |

Actually a lot don't know about him. What got me was she knew who Glorfy was but she didn't know who Thranduil was. Have you seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail? I read Hiccups. That was pretty funny. I don't generally read Star Wars fanfic and didn't much like the first three. I'm more of an original SW fan, although the first three had eyecandy in them. |

*growls* Glorfy and I will help you hunt the Suethor down, Ara! *cracks knuckles* Yes, although I haven't watched it for years and have forgotten a lot of the lines... Yayness! I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, I think I'm your polar opposite, 'xcept, I like reading books/fanfics set pre-Phantom Menace. I like reading about Obi-Wan as a kid! Yes, he is smexy in the first three movies (Particularly number one... ;))

*reads new chapter* *gets concussion from headdesking* *While Xaja is knocked out from too much headdesking, Darry will type the review* Oh glory, that's horrible! As if she could take down Aragorn and Gimli! Glorfindel: And it takes much longer than that to make a sword! Pippin: And what is she doing to my characterization? And Merry? Obi-Wan: Not to mention the atrocious spelling and grammar! Pippin: And Legolas is gonna fall in love with her?! Darry: Although, we did all cheer when she wasn't allowed in the Fellowship. Xaja: *weakly, from floor* Yay. Darry: Anyway, good job sporking this, Ariel! This would have driven the rest of us mad. Glorfindel: Meh, we nearly went mad anyway. Obi-Wan: How true. Pippin: We should get payed to spork these stories. Xaja: Did you just write "payed"? Pippin: NO!! The Suethor's getting to me!! *runs into wall and KO's self* All: Ouch. Glorfindel: Uh... yeah. Great job! |

Next chapter is even worse. She sneaks out to join the fellowship. Her parents own the only forge in Texas, and her grandparents forged weapons and made clothes for Renaissance fairs. Anyway, thank you for reviewing. |

Oh, gosh. Excuse me for a moment while I wipe the blood off my keyboard... Great job sporking, Ariel! I tried to read the unsporked version, but only made it through the first paragraph.
*raises hand* Pick me!
That's an insult to houseflies. *nods*
Amen! Seriously, how does she know who Elladan is without being able to spell his name?
What do you want to bet that, in real life, this Suethor has a terrible voice?
Heh, we wish...
Yay indeed. And does she not realize that "Fellowship" should be capitalized? ![]() Like I said, excellent job. *sends chocolate, brain bleach and other assorted rejuvenation items* |

Good grief. This Sue sets my teeth on the edge more than most other Sues!
And then she'll convert him to a good guy who goes around preaching... :ph43r:
Oh, where to start? Stupidity, Suism, the general tendency to irritate people...I could go on.
Indeed; I am also confused as to how such a ridiculous person could come to exist.
I believe that the boys in my class were all reading them when I was eleven. Good sporking, Ariel. *Hands over crate of alcoholic beverages.* Seriously, Brianna is one of the most obnoxious Sues. I applaud anyone who dares to take her on. (Have you checked out the Suethor's profile? She's written a guide about how not to write Sues.) |
