Invitation Policy
Normal applicants may approach a member of the ls leadership (Rukiakuchiki, Padma, Jathem, Wevlum, Fiercetiger), and ask to join. If/when this happens, the leader will discuss the shell with them & if the leader feels the applicant would potentially be a good fit for the ls they will ask for a vote on the applicant prior to the next ls event. If no existing member has a reasonable discrepancy with the member looking to join, the applicant will be given a pearl & allowed to participate in events. Normal applicants may be turned away if the ls currently has more members than it needs.
Friends of existing ls members will go through the same voting process, but it is not necessary that they speak with a member of ls leadership prior to the vote unless they wish to do so. Also, friends of current ls members will not be turned away based on the number of current ls members - we are never too full for friends.

General Rules
• No linkshell rule shall take precedence over real life matters of notable importance for which reasonable advance notice can not be given.
• Linkshell members shall maintain a positive and constructive attitude towards other ls members at all times. ls members shall remain open-minded towards alternate methods of completing tasks if the method in question has a reasonable chance at success.
• Rare/Ex drops that are not designated to go to specific individuals (by virtue of point/priority systems currently in place) shall be lotted by everyone who can currently use/equip the drop & not by anyone else (unless no one is available who meets those qualifications)
• Although we are a linkshell of friends, there is a chain of command in place (leader > sack-holder > member) & it shall be respected during linkshell events. This means listening to orders that are given to you from someone above you in that chain, and not giving orders to those higher than you in the chain. Suggestions may be made in {/tell} to a leader/sackholder prior to an event, but all questions/suggestions/criticisms that come to mind during an event need to wait until afterwards to be discussed.
• If it is imperative that an idea or criticism be given mid-event, it should be done so in a {/tell}, in a polite & concise manner not to exceed the amount that can be sent in one {/tell}. If the receiving sackholder indicates that he/she wishes to discuss the matter, then further discussion may take place. If the sackholder does not indicate a desire to discuss the matter further during the event, then the discussion will need to wait until after the event.
• If a sackholder does not wish to discuss an idea/criticism further mid-event, that is his/her choice & no one should take offense. Linkshell leaders have a lot to manage and deal with, and as helpful as a good idea can be, it is still often more detrimental to change plans mid-event. If a sackholder does not agree, the member may bring the matter to my (Padma’s) attention.
• If you arrive late to an event, there is a chance that we may end up leaving without you. Please understand that other members have responsibilities after Salvage runs (such as night-shift jobs), and it is not fair to them if we force them to wait/skip in order to wait on late arrivals
• If it is found that a linkshell member is consistently abusing a linkshell rule, or a loop-hole in the linkshell rules, such that they are acting against the implied will of the linkshell set forth by the rules, policies, and purpose listed on this website, then the linkshell management reserves the right to act in any way that they see fit in order to remedy the situation.
• Violation of linkshell rules at any point in time may result in corrective actions at the discretion of the linkshell leaders.
