Quick method: 1 can sliced black olives 1 small bag baby carrots, sliced(or you can get the carrots presliced as well) 1 jar favorite spaghetti sauce 1/2 lb pasta Cook pasta according to directions, remove about 1 minute before done. Meanwhile, put the rest of the ingredients in a large sauce pan, and heat. Combine pasta with sauce, and simmer for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat, and transfer to a serving bowl. Revords way: 1 jar of Kalamata olives, pitted (they are greek black olives. Salty, but undeniably delicious[IMHO]) 1 jar (or can) of marinara sauce (Trader Joes puts out a fabulous marinara sauce that uses plum tomatoes, and all natural ingredients.) Any kind of cooked meat (this is a great way to use leftovers, from hamburgers, to turkey, chicken, or even ham) 1 bell pepper sliced 1 sweet onion diced 1/2 lb pasta Follow the above directions, with one main difference: Slice the olives yourself Revord |
